i just had to review this story! thanks so much for this tale of young love and magic... very tastefully written, good style, with just the right amount of playfulness and naiveté. oh, and i also appreciate your "realistic" approach to the love scenes, because story-book smut is all very well, but perfection gets boring after a certain time. and who says something closer to the real thing can´t be erotic as well? in my book, it´s even an improvement. so, once again, thank you!

Ahoy,

I read this story the other day at some appalling hour of the mornng and the net clocked out on me. So I came back later and finished it off. And have not been able to get it out of my head since.

You capture Barrie's style astonishingly well. I reread the novel cause i was all 'Awww..." and it was as if while reading Awakenings, I was reading a continuation of Peter and Wendy's story (Jane and Margaret be damned). Though I would never admit it, the odd romantic thought does cross my mind and that is what Awakenings is. Romantic.

Another thing that struck me was their naivety. It reminded me of a few times when I was younger. It just brought a smile to my face, remembering all that playful exploring.

This is a great read, well written and best of all, a happy ending for the young pair. Probably the best story in this section so far.

Best of luck with the rest of your writing!

I greatly enjoyed your story. I must say that your story is written in the same manner that the Petter Pan book was written in. You captured Peter Pan in the exact same light at the auther of the book did. The story was extremly well written. I'm going to be frank and thatthat i was much more than just a the other regular porn stories that I've run into so often. Although I sat for more than three hours to read this story, and its nearly four in the morning (I regarded the fact that I have to go to work later today), I enjoyed the story very, very well. I have been wanting to read a story like this that contained the characters of the movie and I am very glad that you wrote one. I hope you keep writing in the future, you are a very talented writer.

YAY! I loved this fic. It took just the right amount of romance, smuttiness(of course) and naitivity to make it great. Wonderful job

This was actually a really beautiful story. Thank you so much for writing it, Peter Pan has always been one of my favorite stories, and even though I know it's a blasphemy to say, I think your ending is better, and makes me feel sad in a very sentimental and melancholy way. Oh boy, now I'm sounding like a crazy person! Thanks again!

Very realistic, and also very sweet! When I first read this story as a child, I always felt a bit soror Por Peter, as he was always looking for a 'mother' (even though he had the Lost Boys). To me, he seemed lonely. And the way you brought Peter and Wendy together, while still keeping them in character, but most of all, innocent, seems like a very fitting end, certainly to me!

I'm impressed. I usually don't read het because after the first few it is incredibly boring. of course yaoi(two guys) tends to be a tad boring on occasion as well and i've only ever found one yuri(two girls) that was even palatable. This however is extremely well written and realistic. cheers for realism! i try to write realism but that generally doesn't make to the sex scenes. . . just the relationships. but then i write angst. . . alot. . .

and i know what you mean about the no reviews thing. my most recent story, "The Knife-Edge" has over a hundred hits and only one review. . . it's sad really. . . not that i was expecting it to be well liked. it's a chronicle of severe child abuse. but it would seem that it is well liked from the number of hits, just not the reviews. . . *sigh* i'm babbling. . .

so i'll leave you to your wonderful and realistic writing. . . ja mata!
