Wonderful work! I have long wished to read a story that plays what if, with the situation Hamilton presented and this was just perfect. I only regret we never got to see her baby.

At first I wasn't overly impressed with the idea- Anita pregnant? Agh. But damn, you really, really made it work. Your characterizations are amazing- so spot on. Also quickly- the sex was hot- that's always fun to read, but it was the last few chapters that really moved me. I absolutely LOVED the way you wrote Jason, reminding all of us he's not just the mindless flirt- you've really done justice to the character. I loved Jean-Claude's bathing of her in the hospital- I'm an RN and I suspect you've got some experience w/seriously ill people and the whole vigil thing, and the way that doing things like that, bathing the patient, calms the family and loved ones, makes them feel that they're helping. And when you had Anita question all those exact same things we wonder about her- like how she basically treats everyone in her life like dirt yet they still love her- I was practically cheering. Overall the story was great- the last few chapters weren't great- They were really phenomenal. I think as you can tell by the 57 previous reviews, there's quite a few of us who would love to read more of your work. Thank you for an amazing read.

One of my most important rules is to never give false flattery, so when I say that your story is great you can rest assured that I'm not kidding. I'm a book-o-holic and since I don't have too much expendable cash I tend to haunt the fanfiction websites, especially, but not only, the Anitaverse sites. After that all I can say is wow. In english at least. At certain parts in the story I got so caught up that I was just a bundle of nerves feeling Anita's emotions, yet not feeling anything at all, if that makes any sense.
Anyway, I love what you've written so far and I hope you write some more. How do Asher and Jean-Claude deal? Or Damien, or Nathaniel? And how did Raphael know? Can Anita ever have kids again or is she s.o.l.? Is Richard angry at Jason? Does Richard blame Anita or Jason or himself?
Continue writing. Also, the only advice I can give is to use a program like Word or another word processor to correct mistakes and mixed up words. But the plot... Wow, you don't need ANY help THERE!

WoW!!! Great story, well plotted and very interesting. You showed real knowledge of character history and developed all the elements of the story to a logical conclusion. I particularily enjoyed how well you stayed true to L.H.'s characters and yet put them in new situations and interesting plot lines that continued developing their personalities. Please dream up some more stories!

This is simply the best Anita Blake fanfiction i have ever read. This reads like its from Ms. Hamilton herself and I have no greater compliment. Please write more. You are very talented!
