Ginmar, first off Anita Blake is the main character of the series. Laurell K. Hamilton, goddess of all written word, is the author of the series. D'oh. Maybe Mrs. Hamilton doesn't like having fan fictions written based on her works, maybe she doesn't care. This is AdultFANFICTION.net...notice FANFICTION all in caps. There happens to be an Anita Blake fanfiction section, if this issue to you then totally avoid here. If Laurell K. Hamilton doesn't like this, then sorry. Her work is fantastic. And fanfics are unavoidable if they are inspired by such great authors, they inspire us other writers. It's a compliment, even a tribute to her.

AND IF YOU HAVEN'T NOTICED this place is for REVIEWS on the fanfic. Did you even read the chapters written by this writer? This is a place for critism of the STORY not a place for people to whine about shit. If you want to bitch about this then start a fricken message board and look for people who care! You won't find any here so scoot along. This is the ANITA BLAKE FANFIC SECTION, not the right place to bitch about stuff like this because all the writers are writing things based on the Anita Blake idea.

If you feel the need to complain, then complain about people who use the Anita Blake characters in their fics (Anita, Jean-Claude, Richard...) NRJS has used only orginal characters and has structed his idea of the story on the Anita Blake idea. If you are going to hang around then remove then stop complaining and read the fics before you critize. Really READ them before you bother spouting off bull. I love the works of Laurell K. Hamilton and I know that when I write my AB fic its a tribute to her.

Masquerade is a HELLA good story. Critique the story, don't go mouthing off.

You do realize that Anita Blake hates fanfiction about her stuff, right? And that she vigorously pursues people who write it?

This story is very well written, an excellent read!
