:P Oooooo, I love Erik. LUV HIMMMM!!! For the past several weeks, I thought constantly about a 70s version of the story called Phantom of the Paradise. Yesterday, on Amazon.com, I purchased it. I had been to Amazon.com before, having purchased other Phantom items and researched others as well. I learned that a Phantom fan can write and publish sequels to the Phantom tale, so long as it doesn't completely resemble Webber's version. There are still some on sale, while others are currently unavailable. Progeny, Angel of Music, Angel of Music: Tales of the Phantom, Phantom of Paris, Phantasy, Journey of the Mask, etc. Some got good reveiws, some bad, some a little of both. Progeny re-tells the story in more rich detail, and it has a sequel in which the characters pick up from where they left off...several centuries later. For one story, fans complained that Erik was pathetic, Raoul cursed and whined to much, and Christine always needed the help of her psychiatrist. The stories are expensive! I took a risk and purchased Angel of Music. Hopefully it will show promise. I laughed at seeing Phantom self-help books like So you want to be a Phantom expert. One promising self-help book was called Listmania. As for the Phantom of the Paradise, I was both insulted and relieved that it was low-priced. Relieved because I didn't have a lot of money. Insulted cuz it really is awesome. It was directed by Brian de Palma, the same guy who created Scarface and Carrie. The Phantom looks sexy with his mask and costume. Carlotta is a by-sexual male diva. Christine loves to sing, and will do the devil to accomplish her dream. It's hilarious. The music is splendid. This story of yours...is AMAZING! I love a Phantom who will take Christine up against the wall and just take her! MEOW!

Wow! That was absolutely breath-taking! I, alas, haven't found many praise-worthy 'Phantom' fics on this site, but at last! I've found one! ^^ And such a beautiful story, at that! Will there be more?? If so, could you possibly email me the update?? Thanks!

P.S. I'm truly sorry about Kayla...it's a pain that many of us know all too well.

Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant! It makes my heart happy to know that Erik does get the love he deserves.
