Hello, Stockholm Syndrome! I guess it makes sense though, considering Wendy and Peter's age, upbringing, and emotional state. The older someone is, and the more confidence they have, the more they are sure of who they are, the less they are susceptable to Stockholm Syndrome. Wendy and Peter are young, they live on an island where they forget things and lose sense of self, Wendy was probably brought up to behave and obey, whereas Peter is insecure. Someone who rebels with a cause, is less likely to end up like this.
