First, he turns me on when he grabs Christine's hand and rubs it on his pants.

And brava for Christine! She stood up for herself, although she is partially at fault.
The other night, I read an internet article in which a feminist explained that she was disgusted with Christine's submitting to the Phantom. She applauded her when she went away with the sweet, stable Raoul. The author said we women ignore good men and go after the psycho abusers.

I partially agreed that some women do that...and suffer greatly for it.
But to compare the Phantom to those vile low-lifes? Sheesh.
Yes, he did have issues. Yes, he did have a temper. Yes, he killed. But he killed in self-defense. Okay, he went too far when he tried to kill Raoul.
Why didnt he just give me Raoul, and he had kept Christine? Sheesh. :P But he didn't kill Raoul. He also learned from his other mistakes.
Anyways.
Bad Phantom. He deserves another spanking.

This is the first story I've read of yours and I must say I'm quite impressed! I love your twist on an old classic! The reader can feel Christine's torment as she questions her eyes and mind as she travels with each of the three spirits! I love your writing style and with the hint of humor! That Raoul is a scumbag!!! He could have at least given Christine some traveling money or use of his carriage! That [insert expletive here]!!! Erik and Christine are face to face now... I can't wait to know what will happen next! Keep it up, I'm hooked! (^_~)
