Is there more to this story before this chapter? It seems like it starts in the middle of no where and i was thinking i missed something. Are you going to add more capters? I really want to know what happens with the healer.

It's rare to find any Pern fanfiction because of the author's staunch dislike of fanfition ... a stance she's changed recently. Pern was my first fantasy world, and in many ways my favorite. I really enjoyed your jaunt into the realm of a new Weyr and new characters. You didn't tread on any of McCaffrey's favorite characters with your story, yet you still managed to paint your short piece with the flavor of Pern. Congratulations.

Strange and very incomplete.
Tenth Pass yet the weyr is not standard and isn't explained in the story.
The Wingleader is female and rides a brown when wingleaders are generally male and ride bronzes. This alteration or AU is not explained within the context of the story.
Some interesting ideas with lots of potential, but it just didn't happen. Maybe someday you'll be inspired to come back to this and make it live.

i'm sorry but there were only 9 passes, they ended it with the help of AIVAS, there was no 10th pass. you need to seriously read the books, try "All the Weyrs of Pern"
