You really should continue this; it's just getting good!

I just got to watch the movie recently and this is nothing like the movie. Narnia would never force it's queen to marry like that. This isn't a very good representation.

Yeah, you have obviously never grasped the movie in spirit. I suggest trying to re-watch it and see the characters again. Because this start sucks.

I know this isn't a contest but I like The other Lucy/Tumnus Fic better. This one isn't finished. The Author hasn't updated in forever. And they don't seem to have a grasp for the nature of the characters. Narnia would never force their queen into something. And Tumnus and Lucy do love each other. Be it friends or more, the love is there and I believe it is writteninto the film like that. Plus the added incest to this just turns it away from a plot and towards standard AFF smut writing. Too typical and too much element in one story. This could be good but it needs serious re-writes.

This fic is really, really good. I read both Born Ugly books you wrote, and was excited when I stumbled upon this one.
And, um, speaking of Born Ugly...
OH MY GOD DON'T LEAVE ME HANGING!
And speaking of THIS fic... WHERE IS THE LAST CHAPTER? You seriously can't do this! Or you can. But it sucks for us.

Everything from this sentence >A little while later, Tumnus walked her out to her horse.< to this sentence >“I don’t know.”< is the most completely perfect scene I've read in ages. Everything is exactly as it should be -- your characters are spot-on, your dialog is taut and flawless, your descriptions and your settings are vivid and lovely. I wish more fic could achieve this. Wonderful job! And you're writing a wonderful fic. Thanks for it.

I love this story more and more as it progresses! You've done a great job with your characters, especially Edmond -- I love the way that even with all the changes that Narnia has brought about and the devotion to his family, we also still get to see the moody/sulking/peevish Edmond that he's always been. You do a brilliant job of working those both together, so we don't just get, "Oh, yeah, and Edmond is good now," even though his plan is so selfless. I just wish we'd gotten a little more Susan/Peter AND a little more Lucy/Tumnus in this latest chapter, but I guess good things come to those who wait! I am eagerly awaiting your next update.

This is an amazing story! I do hope there's more to it. Thanks for writing Tumnus/lucy etc, it's a great pairing!
