That was really good! I don't usually do the explicit stuff with these two, preferring the veiled undertones, but this was exquisite. Perhaps because I'm such a sucker for hurt/comfort! I enjoyed how you wove it into the existing story, that really brought it out. And I can totally envision Watson hiding something like that from both himself and everyone else. Lovely.

WOW.
I keep trying to write something coherent about how visceral and real your tale was - and words fail. Simply stunning. I was so emotionally involved with it all along,a nd it was so brilliantly engrossing; and the line "he was counting the lashes"...just blew me away.
Incredibly impressive and I would be honored if you would count me as one of your ardent fans.

Beautiful, stirring, & amazing!!!
I am still crying.
I felt the fear & self loathing Of Watson. I literally wanted to take Watson in my arms & hold him, soothing all his fears & hurts. THANK GOD Holmes did it for me!!!!
I needed a tender story like this. Tender as in Holmes' treatment of Watson. Unfortunately you have to have the "HURT" to have the "COMFORT".
Masterfully written. Helps to explain Watson's evasive discriptions of his wounds in CANON.
Thank you!
