Hi, me again.
I wasn't making fun of you for warning minors away. On the contrary, that was highly considerate of you.
I gather that some minors have been pressing the Yes-I-Am-18 button, sneaking in here, reading some scandalous smut, and possibly complaining about it?
I merely find it an interesting, controversial topic.
A teenager can go to a library and check out romance novels. A teenager can go to a library and check out porn mags (in some libraries). A teenager can buy romance novels at a store.
A teenager can vote at 18. A teenager can get his driver's permit at 16; drivers license after 18. A teenager can't drink until turning 21.
A teenager can have all the sex they want, provided they have protection. A teenager can't get married until after they turn 16+ (in some cases, with parent permission).
A teenager can't go to a clinic to get birth control, or even an abortion, without parent permission.
A teenager can't have sex with adults (Not that I approve of pedophiles, mind you). Adults can lust after teenagers, especially since they dress so sexy and scandalous (Exs~Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, etc).
I could be exagerating some, most, or all info. Correct me if Im wrong.
What I dont get it is...
Why the conflicting, double standards?

Erik: O_o What r u doing here, madamoiselle?!
Me: -_- That's MADAME to u, sir.
Erik: o_O So then...MADAME...why r u here, in the bedroom of a man not your husband's?
Me: ^_^ Porn is educational, silly. Especially when taught by a most handsome, charming maestro such as yourself.
Erik: Leave here at once, brat, else you shall join Christine in jail.
Me: For what?
Erik: Sexual harassment and attempted pouncing.
Me: =Pouts, leaves, mutters under her breath= Sheesh. No wonder he's remained a virgen for so long.

"Erik; what makes him so special that I feel a shiver run down my spine every time he accidentally touches me or looks at me with those soul-searching eyes of his? He certainly is attractive but so are so many other suitors I have turned down before. What is it about him that makes me melt with longing every time his eyes meet mine?’"

"She had to admit that not only did she find Erik Destler handsome, but she thought the man was absolutely breathtaking. His eyes were the most peculiar pair she had ever seen. Normally green, they would alternate colors depending on his mood. They were almost yellow whenever he was in a jovial mood; they would turn a deep forest green when he was angry; grayish when he was sad and a dark-green-almost black when he kissed her."
Me: Erik...
=Leaves behind a tied-up Marianne=
Me: Sorry dear. I do admire you. But lets face it. Erik belongs with me.
Marianne: But u r already happily wed.
Me: O_o Your point being? Gotta go. Ta ta.
Christine: Hey! Why didnt you tie me up?
Me: You are no threat to me.
Christine: Oooo. =Jumps up and down=
Me: Besides, u r happily wed.
Christine: =Pouts= Your point being?

Uh oh. Crap. Christine is going to be a threat. Sheesh.
Last night, I finished reading Jane Austen's Northanger Abbey. Its not exciting, but enlightening. Sometimes amusing as well. It describes how nobility tends to be. Sometimes they are hypocrites. Sometimes, one rich person will refuse to marry another, simply for not making as much money. It is the story of a teenaged girl (Catherine Moreland) learning how more cruel than pleasant society can be. The heroine's mother reminds me of Marianne's aunt. A suitor of the heroine's (John Thorpe) tells his mother she looks like a witch, then expects her to shack him and his buddy up. He also lies, is rude, cocky, etc. He reminds me of Marianne's best friend.
Look forward to reading more.
