I loved this. It sounds tacky, but The Raven was always one of my favorite poems, if not simply for the rhythm; this following that was well done and very entertaining for me. The story underneath was also very amusing, and the tone made it moreso. Well done and bravo.

That, was, totally, WICKED! I love "The Raven" if only for its magnificent rhyme scheme. I cannot possibly imagine the work that must have gone into this. I would go crazy if I attempted such a feat! Oh, but it was well worth the work to produce such a fabulous piece of imagery! Splendidly done!

For starters, this was just a wonderful story with plenty of insight into Holmes, and so that would have been enough to impress me.
But you even went so far as to impress with your grasp of Poe's poetic style. You did such a fantastic job handling his tricky rhythmic patterns and rhyme scheme. Much, much kudos.

Dropped by to read your poem on a recommendation by someone on the holmesslash group. In a word, "WONDERFUL!" I love how you've retained much of Poe's lilting language and woven H/W love within it. *sigh* Very, very lovely. Thanks so much and please, keep it up.
