Yay--please update soon, I'm looking forward to some SMUT!

I just wanted to state the pure joy I have had reading this story thus far. I was reading Kushiel's Dart when I started this nad your work is on par and very compatable with Ms. Carey's work and I Applaude you. I greatly look forward to new chapters.

I'm enjoying this very much indeed. Some very neat dovetailing with the original - particularly impressed with the background on Cassiel. Would love to read more.

I'm so glad you updated! This was the perfect midsummer present. =) Kushiel's pupil is my favourite unfinished fanfic, and I have been pretty despondent, thinking that you have given it up.

I really like how Ana is changing - I love the idea of Ana being more interested in engineering and swordplay than covertcy. Instead of being a retread of the books, it feels perfectly new to me, since Ana's interests and outlook on life is so different from Phedre's and Imriel's.

I really like Taurus, and the new male characters you introduced in the last two chapters were interesting as well. It's going to be very interesting when Ana grows old enough for boys (and duelling =).

I love how your story unfolds slowly - most fanfic authors write vignettes, hoping to get to the parts they and their readers find most interesting. That works for mind candy, but I find that all fanfic stories that I treasure and reread are stories that took it slowly and built up the scene, which made the emotional impact much, much better.

Thank you so much for updating! I am really enjoying your characterization of Ana. It is rare than an original character is so well thought out, and un-cliched. Phedre and Joscelin are also very well written, which shows wondrous talent on your part.

Hey, any chance you will be updating again, or has this story been given up on?

I absolutely love this story, and adore Anafielle.

My only complaint is the length of the wait for new chapters.

THis was a delightful read. I enjoy ana's charactor and the idea of another full circle of a montreve and sharazi family ,e,ber co,ing together again.

I really enjoyed reading this story so far! Is it still a work in progress? I hope so :)
