I recently found your story, im not sure if you are going to keep writing, but i wanted to let you know i thought your writing was excellant, i honestly felt i was reading an extension of the kushiel books. if you have more i would love to read them. I think you captured the soul of the characters, Very Well done again :)

I love this story so far - the tone and characterizations are so true to the books. (Good luck, though, keeping it consistent with Kushiel's Mercy!) I'm always a sucker for next-generation stories, too, especially ones that are told so well.
One tiny nitpick: when Imri and Anafielle are racing, you write that Imri carries a forty pound sword. Swords are practically always considerably lighter than that - broadswords (two handed weapons) weigh around four pounds usually. Just letting you know :)

OH MY HEAVENS.
This fanfic has literally made my day. I was halfway through the second chapter when I was catching myself already saying, "HOLY SHIT THIS STORY IS SOOOO GOOOD!!!" Out loud, mind you. Everyone is in character, and you've created a new daughter which I actually imagine can fit well into this universe. I cannot express how disappointed I am that there are only eight chapters! I wish you to continue, and I am looking forward to your updates!

I really like your story--it's believable and the characters you've created are like real people. Please keep going with it. Thanks.

This is a very good story--and it's no small task, in my view, to write fanfic responding to Jacqueline Carey's world. A few things are odd (why would Phedre teach her daughter zenyan? if Phedre was given the right to raise Anafielle, wh, then, is she vexed that Anafielle has not been taught the graces?) but overall it's very, very good, and I'm looking forward to more chapters!

I like the story! The relationship between Taurus and Ana seem to be natural; keep writing, I'd like to see what happens next, especially when she goes to court and Alba.
