I assume as it has been a couple years that you aren't going to continue this story - UGH! This was so compelling! I wasn't even sure until the last minute that you were going to bring in Esme.
But - you have to help Edward! You just can't leave him in that unendurable agony (Or is that just me?)

AHH!!! HURRY UP WITH THOSE LAST CHAPTERS! Is there more smut? I WANT SMUT. Okay, I'll shut it. Love the story. this pairing is AWESOME..especially with the release of the movie..and that lovely questionable scene where Carlisle bit Edward...I SO twisted that in my head. Mmm..tasty! Yay!

Oh, you simply cannot leave us hanging like this! I'd never imagined Carlisle and Edward in a romantic context before, but your story proved that it is very much possible. :) Your first post mentioned a planned 12 chapters -- so only four more to go! Please, please, please update!

Wow, beautiful..I am in tears..It's so bittersweet..well it was sweet at the beginning...This sounds like my shitty love life so I can really connect witht he story. I hope there is a good outcome..I'm a hopeless romantic and I would hate for Edward to be left hurt...To hell with Charliel..mmmOk out of this whole babble you should know I like the story cand cant wait for the next chapter.

The way you write this...is so amazing. It feels so real. It feels like I am living out Carlisle's story, maybe even Edward's story, even though I don't find this pairing canonical.
The way you have introduced Esme is very smoothly and works very well. I feel both their pains. I love how Edward played p iano before he was vampire in this story. It makes sense. Why must Edward be good at everything just because he is vampire? Thus, I like the idea that he was excellent at piano before even being vampire.
And the concept that playing it, the music, makes th eothers' thoughts drift away. That is very suitable, that he would want to drown them out and not hear them, and it makes sense that music would do the trick.
Your fanfic is very ratioinal and well thought out, in a way I have never read any othe Twilight fanfic to be. It makes SENSE, in so many ways. It doesn't feel like a fanfic.
