Loved it!!! I wish I could read more of their kinky sex... Outs sup hot.

This is by far the best fanfic I've read on this site. Although some of the details are a bit gruesome, i.e. Erik slowly torturing someone until your own gag reflexes are triggered, this story is so well worth the read. What an amazing author! I'm thrilled by how deeply you managed to dissect each character, especially Erik and Celeste. By not sparing us the details, and leaving in parts that make us uncomfortable and therefore stretch the boundaries, you provide for the reader a fascinating and realistic read that is as much a introspective look into the human mind as it is a loving fanfic of deep, unperturbed passion and romance. My take home lesson from Rossignol? (which means Nightingale in French--figure that one out). Angels don't always have white wings, and God given love doesn't have to be holy.

PS If there were one recommendation I could make, it would be to continue the story!!! Though I do love the last chapter, I feel like there is so much more to be said between these two, and you are just the person the say it! Please don't make me return to one-shot smut! (as amazing as it can be ; ) This story has amazing merit, and a part two, even if were set a few years in advance, would send me on a whirlwind.

I've been totally pulled into this story the whole way through anyway, but this chapter by itself was the single best thing I have read in a long time. I LOVE your characterizations--I love Celeste. I ADORE this story. It is FANTASTIC. It is PRECISELY what should have happened. The scene where Erik let Raoul have it--oh my gosh, I actually had to restrain myself from clapping my hands and cheering at the end of that scene. And I love, love, love how true you're staying to Erik's character. A lot of these post-Christine stories show Erik just changing, but I think you've done his character justice, and that's really hard to do. I love the way that Celeste isn't a simpering little fool, too--I very much appreciate how she embraces ERik in all of his darkness, and this is a character I can feel DESERVES Erik.
Kudos to you for this, because this is fantastic!

I can't even begin to express how completely impressed I was with this story. you're an incredible writer; you really draw the reader into your characters, and your ability to illustrate Erik and Celeste was absolutely captivating. The darkness, the humanity... everything, you blended it all so perfectly. This story was FANTASTIC. Absolutely fantastic. It was everything a Phantom story should be, everything Erik (and Celeste) finally deserved. I am thoroughly captivated, and my only regret is that there's no more of it to read. This was perfect. I found it only by chance by a reference to Rossignol while perusing The Write Stuff wherein it was referred to as Savaial's masterpiece. Even that doesn't do it justice.

I hated to finish it and would be ever so grateful for more Erik and whomever. Meanwhile I shall have to content myself with rereading and rereading it.

Your story was recommended to me and I just finished it. I started last night and read into the wee hours of the morning before stopping. I just now finished after reading from mid-afternoon until now. Very interesting story and your treatment of Erik and Celeste was good. Even your Raoul and Christine were different. There are not enough superlatives to describe my enthusiasm for this story. I read it a long, long time ago on another forum, before it was finished, and have never forgotten how brilliant it is. I was surprised to find it here, but happy to have the chance to leave a note explaining how much I appreciate it.

This story is taut, and although I've read it three times now, it always seems fresh and creative. To say that Savaial is a genius is an understatement. If this is fan fiction, I can only imagine what her "serious" work is like.

Every character, every description and nuance are indelibly etched into my imagination. It is, without a doubt, one of the best stories I've ever read -- bar none.
