Well done Kieth.  I like this story a great deal.  My impression of Gabrielle is that she drew her last mortal breath in the Middle Ages, fifteenth century perhaps?

This is an interesting and fun twist on the usual vampire story. i hope it continues....here AND at the SW Forum. People ARE waiting for more of your stories there, whether you realize it or not. BTW....since you disabled PMs there, i will have to post my reply to you here.....that person who apologized agonized over what he said. He is sincere in his apology, people LOVE you there, so stop being a Prima Donna and come back. It's getting quite silly. Once was fine, and i agreed with you. Twice, i am wondering if it's you, not them. But i still love your writing and want you to bring more of it to as many people as possible, and i frankly can't continue to write if you aren't there.
