This was a scene where I went "Huh?" and thought would be a good starting point for a divergence. What you've written is something that is fairly similar to what I thought could've happened - at least in the fact that Rand doesn't refuse Berelain (or that she doesn't take no for an answer).

Excellent idea. I bet Berelain is happy for once to have fun while getting into her political goal. I really hope you continue this! Hmm.. and while at it, might be highly interesting to have both Berelain and Elayne "competing" for Rand. :p
