I read H. P. Lovecaft's books in the Seventies and Eighties and watched "Smallville" when it was broadcast, but a cross of the two never occurred to me. Do continue this, please. It is an intriguing start and I'm wondering if your story leans more to the Lovcraftian than the comic code sensibility. So far it's balanced between the two nicely.

I really love all the extra quotes you add - I'd like to see more description than dialogue in your writing. Cool stuff!
