Wow. So, I created an account solely to add my praise for this story to the dozen-odd reviews already posted here saying the exact same thing. I love this story! I think the writing is substantially better and more compelling than many published authors' work. I didn't expect to like something outside the traditional storyline, but I think the creativity in the characters' backstories and the circumstances of their meetings, the dialogue, the switch between perspectives, and the palpable tension and chemistry between our two heroes is incredibly well done. My only regret is, honestly, I hate to say it, but if I had known how sucked in I was going to be, I may not have started reading it! Now I just keep thinking about ... Bella in her gown at the benefit (will Jake be there?), how the breakup with Jacob will go, how the custody/James storyline will play out. A lot to love. Keep up the fantastic work!

SIGH - i could have sworn I read that this story was edited on 2/15 - I was SSOOO excited that I read it from the beginning - just to be crushed by being left hanging in the same place - I REALLY want to read the rest of this story - if you've posted it elsewhere, please inform your fan base! I love the way these semi-familiar characters are building their relationship.

Dear BDC - Please please please keep writing this story - I continually check back to see if there are added chapters! I have to tell you that originally I couldn't figure out why an author would create a totally different story with characters from a book - but I love your other stories so much that I had to try this one out - and now I know why an author would use characters and build a whole new reality for them. You've created that same tension of will they? won't they? in this story and of course I can't wait to see how it unfolds. So, now that you've sucked me in, please don't leave me hanging for much longer. Your writing is fantastic and if you're posting in other places, let me know where so I can seek you out there!!! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving - perhaps sit back and write? :-)

I never thought I would like a story that took Edward and Bella out of the S. Meyers created environment, but I absolutely love your writing style - I've read most of your other works with E & B (many times actually) - I've sent friends to this site specifically for your stories! I'm still waiting to see what comes of the necklace - and now you've given me this new gift - the practice - i hope the next chapter is coming (or cumming as the case may be) SOON! Of course I end up waisting perfectly good productive time reading and reading and reading! You've become my latest vice!

I've read and re-read this story about ten times so far, because I totally adore your writing, the plot lines you've come up with. Nevertheless, Edward's history still hasn't become quite clear, but I'm sure that's exactly how you intended it? ;)

There is only one word to describe this story - DELICIOUS. I love it - your writing style is fantastic, and you've managed to give Bella and Edward very distinct, very believable voices. Every time you post a chapter I am already looking forward to the next one. My only complaint is that there's not enough updates - I just can't get enough! Keep up the awesome work. I can't wait to see how you resolve the Edward/Bella/Jake love triangle!

Holy shit! Pleeeeeeeeaaaaaaase, please update asap! I'm absolutely addicted to this story, and as much as I'm sorry for Jake, I think Bella deserves happiness with Edward, and he does with her! OMG, this is absolutely fantastic. I cannot wait for more!

OK, here finally goes my first review to this truly captivating and incredibly amazing story. I love it! Really, I totally do. Edward's really messed up, I still haven't completely figured out what happened to him in the past... same goes for Bella, though... what's with her and Jake? He seems to be nothing but her rebound so that Nessie won't have to grow up without a paternal figure...

Altogether, though, I am really intrigued to find out what happens next. Please don't make Bella and Edward (and by that, I mean us readers, too!) wait too much longer to hit it off and get on with whatever it is that's causing these sparks ;) I'm curious, really - do those actually happen when you find your perfect match? If so, I'm very much looking forward to that happening to me! :P
