Hi Leloi!

Thank you for sharing this. I signed in just to let you know that I read and loved it. Your take on the real story of SH and JW is just brilliant. Not sure if this work is complete or not. I hope not, simply because I'd love to read more. Thanks for expanding my perception of an old and favorite pairing. I look forward to possible updates and to reading your other stories.

Until then, wishing you all the best, Donna :)

Excellent! Exactly what I was looking for. I hope you do not mind when I read your work, I thought about John and Sherlock of Sherlock BBC. I think they are perfect for this story, despite the fact that it is OOC. I hope you continue to write more, and we learn many new interesting details of "real life " Holmes and Watson. Thank you, my dear!

I thought that if you decide to continue, then you might be interested in knowing just what I liked most. It is a psychological trauma Watson, his lack of self in their own values, and attitudes of Holmes to Watson, his tenderness and concern. These words "My John wishes it so" touched my heart. My fav:
“It makes me feel… worth something.”
“My god, Watson! How can you be…? Listen to me, John H Watson…” His hands caught my lapels and he pulled me close to face him. “You are irreplaceable… as a companion and friend. Never doubt your worth, my friend.” ...and further, until the arrival of Mycroft.
If you do not mind, I would like to know: 1. What happened to Watson in Afghanistan. 2. The story of Irene Adler. 3. What is it about stories (Sir ACD) was a fabrication. 4. They lived together happily ever after and died in one day?
And again - excellent story!

I love how this fic just gets straight to the point. It makes for a very fun read. Now I'm curious as to who the man who was with Holmes is. And hopefully Watson will be able to get through his mental scaring with the help of Holmes. I absolutely love the fact that you don't pretend no one ever talked about homosexuality in that era in Britain. Who dared to hurt Watson? I must know!
