Wonderful story and an imaginative retelling of the story that makes believable sense of the legend. Please continue it, I want it to all turn out well but this time hopefully she will end up with Rumplestiltskin instead.

Oh my god, coming back here to find a new chapter had me beaming a big grin here. Man, reading through the new chapter was like coming back to knowing why I love this story, and I love seeing Carine saying more in this story! Of course it makes sense though, Carine and Millicent were becoming more familiar to each other. Still, Rumplestilskin is still awesome, and the scenes of him with Millicent were very human. Millicent's grief for her lover and Rumplestilskin's care for her was just beautiful, seriously great chapter. :3

I love it, the story so far is great. I hope you continue soon. I know how it can be when your writing and don't get many reviews. I have a story out and my computer was stolen last year. I had it finished just needed to upload it and now its been so long I don't remember where I was going with it. Hope to see a new chapter soon.

This is great! Honestly, not many people tackled down this fairy tale like you had done, and I was actually amazed straight from chapter 1 on how complex you made Millicent and the Rumplestilskin. The prose was awesome--it fit exactly the moods that ranged from the earth-folk-tale feel to the urban medieval feel. The characters were great, and even realistic (hell, even what you showed of the king reminds me of actual nobles in history.) Seriously, I REALLY enjoyed this story, I was glad to have found this.

Great rendition of the famous Rumpelstiltskin tale! I have thoroughly enjoyed all the short, but pleasant chapters and look forward to when Rumpelstiltskin and his lover are reunited!
