...My name

Hase woke up with a jerk, once he recognized that there was indeed a sword pointed at him by his younger brother.

Sidhe laughed and brought the sword away. "You didn’t really think I was going to cut you, did you? Amazing it’s still in such good shape."

"Why—the hell—did you bring—a damn SWORD into my office?" Hase asked.

"Oh, I just found something very interesting."

"How interesting?"

"Interesting enough for you to just sit there on your ass and you’ll still be famous. Care for a walk?"

Hase grabbed his things and put on his coat and followed his brother.

"Okay, but only because I’m caught up on work here."

"I didn’t know sleeping was so important for lawyers."

"You want me to follow or not?"

"Point, come on, I already told the lady at the desk I’d be dragging you off, let’s go."

"You mean you mentioned that when you were trying to sweet talk her."

"You lawyers always now how to turn someone’s words around, get in the elevator."

"So what’s this famous whatever that you found? The land where all the paperclips have gone?"

"No, why would I care about paperclips?"

Hase put his hand over his face and sighed. "Of all the sickos and weirdoes in New York City, I have to drop everything about them for my little brother."

"Consider yourself.., part of the family!" Sidhe chimed, placing and arm on his brother’s shoulder.

"you sing and I have the right to claim self-defense for having to hurt you."

"You are absolutely no fun."

"It’s not in my job description."

"Hmm. This may be harder than I thought."

"Because I’m no fun?" Hase asked, stepping off the elevator.

"No, no. Hi, Chelsea, I’ll bring him back. I promise."

"Stop waving like an idiot, she’s two months pregnant and engaged."

"Why wasn’t I told about this?"

"Because you don’t work here."

"Oh, right," Sidhe said, opening the glass door. "I keep forgetting. Anyway, I was wondering what to do with this after all this. As nice a sword as it is, I don’t think I have anywhere in my apartment for it. Not to mention all the other stuff. First, thought, I gotta find out who’s it is. Which do you think had this?"

"Which what? You haven’t explained anything to me!"

"I haven’t?"

"No!"

"Sorry about that, then. Anyway, you will be amazed to know about our family tree?"

"Absolutely nothing."

"Interesting. Now, have you ever heard of the name Daae?"

"A sandwich?"

"No, no, no. Would you try and think for once?"

"I’m a lawyer, not a geneticist!"

"Exactly. Now we’re getting somewhere."
