Jacob and Fox.
Summary
An imagining of what Jacob and Fox's first time might have been like.
One lonely shepards hut.
The clouds rolled menacingly as Jacob and Fox rode through the wind swept countryside as they attempted to follow the tracks of the Goyl and Will. "Jacob, perhaps we should find somewhere to stay for the night - a storm is coming." Whilst Jacob was desperate to make up more time on his quarry he knew that the vixens instincts were always right. "We should look out for somewhere to stay for the duration then," Jacob conceded. As they rode together Jacob found his mind wandering back to how Fox had rejected the Barsoir and then that kiss they had shared in the rain. How he longed to hold her in his arms again, but the price hanging over her head made that impossible, for her own happiness. Fox was thinking something similar but she was somewhat confused. The passion Jacob had shown for her earlier seemed to have completely evaporated, he intentionally avoided making eye contact and generally seemed even colder in manner than before. She knew that as usual he was trying to protect her, but the vixen did not need to be treated like a child.
