Wendy awoke the next morning, curled in a little ball and surprisingly cold. She reached out for Peter’s hand but grasped only air. Sitting up straight, her eyes darting open, she frantically looked around for him but didn’t see him anywhere near her. Starting to panic, Wendy rose to her feet and searched the dark room. She could just make out a shape over on the bed and she hurried over to make sure he was still alive. Peter was lying on his stomach, his hands stretched out in front of him and bound to the bedposts. Wendy crept onto the bed and lifted his face and sighed with relief she heard him breathing.

“Peter?”

“Mm?”  His eyes fluttered open and it took him a moment to realize where he was. Frowning, he stared at his hands and attempted to pull free.

“What’s going on?”

“You tell me. I just found you this way.” Wendy started to pull the knot free but a silent hand shot out of the dark and grasped her throat. Choking, Wendy could barely make out another shape looming out of the shadows and Hook leaned close to her, grinning.

“I left him there, my dear, and there he shall stay. Do not attempt to aid him again.” He let her go and she fell to the floor, rubbing her neck with a grimace on her face.

“Hook, I told you—“ Peter started but Hook swept down on him and lifted his chin with his hook.

“Yes, I know. Noble Peter Pan sacrifices himself for his Wendy, again. To keep her from feeling any pain, he’ll submit to my every whim, won’t he?” His eyes glittered as he stared down at Peter, who was wincing from the odd position his neck was in. Hook let go and walked around the bed, his hands behind his back as if in a gentleman-like manner.

“I was laying in my bed, tossing and turning, haunted by these visions. Driving me mad, they were. And I said to meself, Hook, you shouldn’t be all alone in here, you have two vigorous young youths right in the next room. So I come in here hoping to appease my loneliness and my…desires.” Hook climbed onto the bed and straddled Peter. Peter let out a yell and his legs flew into Hook’s chest, knocking him to the floor. Hook sat there a moment, then instantly grabbed Wendy and dragged her into Peter’s sightline. His hook pressed gently against her throat.

“I don’t have to kill Miss Darling in order to torment you, boy. I thought you’d learned that. And I really don’t have a problem,” he lowered his hook to Wendy’s belly and pressed gently, “reminding you of that.”

“NO! Just…just leave her alone. Do what you want with me but…yes, I’ll submit to you. Just please, don’t hurt her. Don’t touch her.” Hook leaned close to Wendy and his mustache tickled her cheek.

“it must be wonderful to have a love like that, eh my dear? Someone who’s willing to do anything to keep you safe. Since you’re a silent bystander, I’ll just let you sit here.” He lowered Wendy into a chair directly in front of Peter and patted her shoulders gently, before moving back over to the bed. Hook stroked Peter’s head softly and started to remove his own clothing.

“Let’s see how silent your little whore can be while she watches me ravage you. Oh the irony…I start with a story and end up with an adventure.” Hook shot Wendy a devilish grin before leaning down and kissing Peter’s cheek, continuing to kiss and suck on his neck. Peter kept his gaze on Wendy and this time, she saw the apology and fear in his eyes. But there was something else as well. A kind of silent resolution. She now understood that he was doing this for her. To keep her from any harm. He silently voiced ‘I love you’ before lowering his head and allowing Hook to take him. Wendy bit her lip to keep from crying out as Hook spread Peter wide and slid inside him, throwing his head back in pleasure. Peter kept his eyes closed, not wanting to look at Wendy and see her pity. A picture came to his mind and it temporarily made him forget what was happening to him. A beautiful grown up Wendy was in the nursery, rocking a baby to sleep. She smiled at a man who had just entered the room and…it was him! A grown up Peter joined her, a red-headed toddler on his shoulders and grinning that smile that Wendy had fallen in love with. Peter actually smiled at this image as the pain started to drift away and he saw his future in front of him. He was snatched back to reality as Hook’s steel appendage raked down his arms and he let out a hiss of pain. He knew Hook was getting close as he lay there and allowed it all to happen. For Wendy, he thought. Hook’s hand yanked his on his hair and Peter briefly saw stars. One final thrust and then it was over. Panting, Hook dressed himself and left the room. Peter lay motionless on the bed, burying his face in the pillows. He felt soft hands untying him and then heard water dripping, as she tenderly cleaned him up. She said nothing as she gently pressed the cloth to his wounds and wiped away the blood. He blushed slightly when he felt her going past his hips and cleaning up any trace of what Hook had done to him. Peter lay there completely still until she was finished and she soothingly turned him over. Pushing his hair out of his eyes, she leaned down and kissed him softly. He moaned into her mouth, loving her with all his being. Her hand rested on his cheek as they stared in each others’ eyes.

“I love you Peter Pan. I am so blessed to have a love like that, someone who is willing to do anything to keep me safe. You have my heart and soul and though they may not be able to protect you from Hook or shield you from the horrors these brutes show you, I hope they make you smile and keep you warm at night.” Loving her even more, he brought her head down to him and kissed her fervently.

“You know what I was thinking about during….well, you know. I was thinking of you. I saw you in the nursery…and I was there with you. With our children. It was a grand sight indeed, Wendy.” She smiled, running a single finger down his cheek.

“I’m sure it was. I hope that image can keep you going. Use that thought to allow you to never give up. We have a future together and they will never take that from us. They have taken so much from us—“

“But given us so much too,” Peter finished, cupping her chin and kissing her nose. He planted kisses all over her face before ultimately capturing her mouth and conquering it. He leaned back on the bed, pulling her into him and soon she fell asleep in his arms.
