The Hierogram

Woo. This might be the last chapter... or maybe the next chapter will be. We shall see.
Aren't you excited? ;)
I know I am too. Because the story unfolds before me and sometimes take twists that even surprise me. But in a way, I am somewhat sad too... for I enjoyed writing this story, and getting your reviews on this. Whenever it be good or bad. ^_^
Maybe I should write a Sequel? Anyway.

Be warned though... the first part of this would be written from Alice's person of view. As you get to read her thoughts and what goes on in her head. It's very weird. You might not understand what goes on. Just warning you. Also, it takes place just right before Adonis and Hatter dropped into the castle literally.
Do not worry, the rest shall make sense. At least I hope so.

ALICE THE 19TH!!
=======================================================================

"Alice!! Snap out of it! We have to get out of here!" The cat screamed, trying his best not to struggle against the chains as he tried to get the drugged girl's attention.
After all, if he moved even in the slightest....Alice might die.

However, Alice was completely out of it... she could barely resister what the cat said at all, so she remained still and motionless. Her head was down, her eyes staring blankly at the floor.

--Alice's Pov--
She noticed the pool of red substance under her feet getting bigger. And she then realized that it was her own blood... that she was running out of blood. If she was left here for another like this, she would most likely die.
And strangely enough, she did not just care anymore.
After all, too many things had happened to her, for her to even feel anything anymore.
The Queen--the one she now had those strange feelings for--and reminded her of somebody whose name she forgot, could do whatever she wanted with her at all. She did not care anymore.

Strange flickering lights moved re hre her eyes, And she found herself getting lost in her memories.
Alice was vividly expernicing everything that had happened tr inr in the past.

She was once a young, little girl again... she was six years old, at a time where her beloved father was still alive. It was also when her own mother was not such a pathetic weakling who relied on some sick man to provide for everything even if it meant letting him do whatever he wanted with her own children. And her own grandma was still alive.
It was a happy time for her... until when it happened.
She was skipping happily, walking home from school. A red van pulled up behind her, and Alice thought that they only merely wanted to pass her without running her over.
So she stopped to let them pass her by. However, they just stopped in front of her.
And the windows rolled down, and Alice saw that it was one of Daddy's friends from work.
In the back, was some men she did not recognize at all.
"Hey, aren't you Alice?" The driver asked, innocently.
Alice had been told many times by mommy and d not not to speak to strangers at all. However, she nodded her head.
She wondered whenever the rule of not speaking to strangers applied to this man. After all, she had met him once, when daddy was with her. But then again, she barely even knew him, other than the fact his name was Kevin and that he had a very firm handshake.
"It's dangerous for a little pretty girl to be walking home alone. Hop in, I will give you a ride.." Kevin grinned at her, the smile somewhat strange to her even though she could not figure out why.

The older Alice back in the torture chamber wanted to scream: "No.. do not do it! Please do not let me go though this again..."
But she found that she could not speak at all.

The younger Alice in her memories smiled, and nodded. "Okay...snice you really know daddy, I guess it's all right.."
So she got into the front passenger seat; and she chatted with Kevin while he took her home.
She also talked to the other men in the van, and she found them to be all very nice men.
But Kevin did not take her home at all. Instead he took her to this empty warehouse.
And it was then that Alice right away knew something was wrong.
The men was no longer nice, as they forced her into the Warehouse.
They tried coaxing her into willingly undressing and touching their privates by saying that they would give her candy and other really good things.
However, Alice refused. So they then started threatening that her friends and her own family would be hurt if she did not comply with their demands.

Believing that those scary men could really do anything they wantshe she thought that she had no choice but to strip. She took everything off, even her underwear. They then tied her up, and forced her into a very embarrassing posture where the men, inducing Kevin, could gain access to every part of her body.

They set up video equipment, and went on to violate her in many ways.

"NO!! Not AGAIN!!" The older Alice screamed, ouud fud for real.

The Cheshire cat stared at her worriedly. It seemed as if Alice was hallucinating, Seeing something awful that had happened to her in the past. He wondered what it was that made Alice scream so.

In her mind, it was hours later when she finally arrived back at home. She was fully clothed once again even though they were a little bit tattered.
The men had let her go, on the condition that she was to not ever tell anybody that ever happened at all. And Kevin had told her that even if she did, nobody would believe her at all. Most especially not her parents.

Alice ran up the stars to the white and blue house, tears running down her face.
What just happened to her was beyond anything awful that she ever had experienced. The humiliation was worse than the time where she was performing this new dance she had learned for show-and-tell. The new pants that mommy brought for her was a little too e one on her. The pants fell down just as she had about to perform the finale... resulting in the whole class laughing at her.
Even the teacher snickered somewhat. And worse, they all now knew what her underwear looked like.
Yes... this kind of new humiliatioe ree reviced was much worse than that.
And the pain she feltht nht now was worse than the time her daddy spanked her for saying the new word that she had learned but did not know was bad.

She did not believe Kevin about what he said. Her parents loved her, and knew her better than anybody else ever The They would believe her if she told them, right?

was was standing in the hallway, screaming for her mother.
However, it took awhile for her mother to walk down the stairs completely... for she was carrying Alice's three-year orothrother.
Adonis was asleep in her arms, sucking his thumb.
"What's wrong, Alice? Do not scream so, I just managed to get your brother to take his nap.." Mrs. Carroll asked.

Mother tucked Adonis into his own bedroom, and came out to listen to what Alice had to say.
However, Alice hhe bhe bad luck of not even knowing the names of her own body parts, much less a the the male genital. So she could not describe much of what went on in enough terms for her own mother to believe her at all. She did not even know the meaning of the word "Molest"... much less heard that word before.
Alice also had the bad luck to have one of the most old-fashioned mothers in England, and most possibly the whole world. Mrs. Carroll was a woman who had old-fashioned views, everything from a woman's place is at home... and also on subjects of sexuality. She did not believe that there would ever be a possibility that such a thing could happen to children...espeically not her own.
And even more, that those things was committed by non-Christian suspicious-looking men who lurked in alleyways. And not committed by "respectable" men like Kevin.

"Alice, do not joke about such awful things. And it's not very nice to say that about your father's friend. He is a veespeespectable man... why, he goes to church everyday." The dismayed mother said, quickly getting up. It seemed licelice's mother completely refused to believe such things happened to her firstborn.

Alice was in shock that her own mother did not believe her, and her feelings grew even more worse when her father came home, and her mother told him about what Alice had said.
However, her father was sensible to give her the benefit of doubt. And he asked her to repeat the whole thing to him again.
Unfortunately, her descriptions was still so vague due to her not knowing the proper words of what happened to her.
And because of that, her own father did not believe her neither... and in fact sent her to her own room without supper for saying such things about somebody whom they both believed to be a very respectable person.

Alice found herself back in the torture chamber. Of course she was there all along, she was merely lost in her memories.
She started sobbing loudly.
Damn memories. Why did they have to come back like that... and so vividly, too. She tried to repress the awful feelings she had then... but now it seems that she could not even try to repress that anymore at all. The feelings were toch sch strong for her to handle.

In her mind, she was sitting in her bedroom, crying and sobbing.
She gained her composure. She must not cry like this... crying was for weak people.
She started picking up the brush, and sat in front of the mirror. She started combing her hair, counting every stroke in an attempt to take her mind away from all the awful feelings she was having right now.
However, her reflection started talking back to her, voicing all the thoughts she had when she was growing up.
Her refection aged to a girl of ten years old, her expression perfectly blank. Void of any emotion.
"My life is perfect, right? Living in a big nice house... With a perfect family. Parents' rich. The stereotypical picture-perfect family. They give me anything I want.... along with that, I've got a very sweet brother whom I protect and teach. That awful thing that happened to me when I was six was simply just all a very horrible dream I had, nothing more. Right? This is the kind of life I am supposed to have when I am full grown. But...is this what I want? Is this what I want?" The reflection spoke, voicing all the strongest doubts and the sadness Alice had when she was ten yeard.
d.

Alice blinked back the tears, and tried to become even more focused on counting every brush stroke. 20 strokes now...
However, this did not make the reflections go away. It changed, and became even more worse. The refection was now 13 years old... looking bitter and angry. To top it off, she had a black eye.
"I'm nothing more just than a strong rich, spoiled brat to all people who see me. They see me as nothing but a shallow person, and maybe I am. I rebel, and I wear weird clothes so that no male would ever want to be close to me. Then I get picked on in school. Get into a few fist fights. I did not just get a black eyes then. Sometimes there would be times when they called me names.... and I would see those disgusting teen whores actually making out in the broom closet at school. People suck... they should just all be wiped off the face of earth. It's not like any of them cares about me anyway. Expect for my brother...even if he is a male, he is still innocent. And there is people out there that doesn't care about the fact that he is male. They will still force what they did to me on him. I will not let that happen. But then the school consoler get their way, and they make me go to some goddamn head shrink.."

The refection morphed into a 15 years old. She was now the splitting image of her own mother now, right down to the clothes her mother picked out for her.
"They sent me to some intuitions for disturbed kids, and my mother also took hand in rearing me to become whatever she wanted me to be. Mother always wanted me to be just like her. Have a good husband, have many kids with a house that had the white picket fences. But I must had wanted more than that. Mustn't I? But Mother and Father's dream came first. They always did. Why did I do that? Become a cheap copy of my stupid mother? It seems like I do not even know who I am anymore.... Nothing in life is even tangible anymore. Nobody cares about me... Maybe it would be better if I did not exist anymore. But I have to hold on to this stupid life... for my brother, at least. Adonis's so innocent..... and so beautiful too. Mother named him really well."

Alice found herself crying loudly now. Damn refection... why did mirrors always seem to show the truth more often than they deceived the eyes? She never wanted to face herself with all those feelings out in the open literally.
ust ust hurt too much to hear those words come from a refection of herself.

The reflection was now crying too... now appearing to be the current age Alice was right now. The reflection started shouting, "I hate everyone in the whole world so much.... Adonis's the only person I trusted, and now even he is gone too. I hate you all! If I could, I would hunt down everyone down and make them all suffer!! I hate everyone!"
The sobbing on the other side of the mirror-glass ceased to be... but the refection did not stop speaking. "But that would make me no better than all those awful people out in the world. You know what the solution is, Alice?"

Alice looked up at the mirror, surprised. Her reflection was addressing her?
The reflection smiled, but the smile was not normal. It was a mixture of sadness and malice.
"The way I look at it... you've got two choices. Keep your sanity by cutting yourself until you die...the only way you will escape pain and the idiotic people of the world is in sweet death. The other choice., You can just keep on playing the role of the so-called honorable, brave, big sister... and completely lose yourself. Hehehe.. would not you just like to carve up everyone that did you wrong? Kill them all. That is your two choices... Death or Murder.. Death or Murder...Death, you get to keep your sanity. Murder, you get to protect your little brother by killing everyone else in the world..."

Alice screamed, "No!!" as she covered her ears. But covering her ears did not even help at all.. the words "Death or Murder" kept on echoing in her ears.. every echo getting louder until it was completely deafening.
She could not stand it anymore.. she threw the brush against the mirror. It shattered, and to her surprise everything else in the room seemed to shatter, as if they had been glass all along...
She found herself falling endlessly into the darkness.
"NOOO!!" Alice screamed, every bit of her sanity fading away.

___Everyone else's Pov___

The Cheshire Cat could not stand it aongeonger.
Alice kept on screaming as if she was expernicing something that caused her pain.
Trigger switch box or not, He was about to break out of his chains and get over to her... Even if it meant that Alice might die.
After all, what was the point of keeping her alive if she was kept in this much pain?
Even he had the mercy to give his own victims a quick, painless death sometimes when he went out hunting.
He owned Alice that much consideration.

He watched Alice's back, as since was all he could see of her... and Alice's body kept on twitching, her head hanging down.
It seemed as if Alice was having some bad dream, although The cat could not see how anybody could fall asleep like this.
But Alice had been drugged... so that might had been the reason.

Just as he was making the decision that he was about to break out, The Queen walked back in, along with some more headless servants.
"Mm, I see Alice has already gone into dru drug-induced nightmares... they are part of the side effects, you know." Queen said, taunting the cat somewhat when she noticed just how much upset the Cheshire Cat was over Alice's torture.

The Cat growled. Okay, so maybe he would not break out of his chains right away. But at the right moment, he would.. and kill everyone in the room expect for Alice. That is, if she was not already dead by then.
\n A\n A pair of headless soldiers went up to him, and one of them lifted a ballball bat. The one holding the bat swung it about, hitting Cheshire Cat right in the head.
The cat was then knocked out hold.

The Queen smiled. "Very good. So this way he will not attack us when we let Alice loose to help us in securing Queen's Plan. Take him, we may need him as a sacrifice for the Hierogram."
The pair loosened up the chains, and unlocked the shackles. They then lifted hi, so, so that his arms rested right on their shoulders.. and they dragged him out of the room.

The Queen walked up to Alice, and lifted her head by pulling on her hair.
Alice opened her eyes, her mind in such a mess that she hardly remembered that she was even in a castle at all. Much less the fact that she was a prisoner of the Queen of hearts.
So when Alice's eyes met the eyes of the Queen, she asked: "Adonis..? Is that you? You seem so different..somehow.."
The Queen smiled. "I might be, if you think I am Adonis. Or Maybe I am not. But that is not important. The time has come to come terms with your destinies. Are you ready?"

Alice nodded. " I think I am."

The Queen smiled. "Good. Let the Servants dress you, and then follow me to the Hierogram, where it all ends and it begins."

"All right..." Alice nodded again, fully obedient to every word she said.

Two servants unlocked the shackles, and carefully tended to her wounds. They also gave her some water, along with a strange drink which they told would boost her energy for what was to come.
Last of all, they all brought in this soft-feeling silk robe which felt metemetely good on her damaged skin. After they put the white silk robe on her, they helped fasten that up by putting a black wrist corset over the silk robes. Once they had fastened the back of the corset, Alice was now ready.

The Queen was pleased with this progress, especially with how the black and white color combination suited Alice.
"You look so lovely in that, My sweet Alice. You look quite the lady.... If Queen was into normal sex and a lesbian, Queen would want you as Queen's mistress." The Queen smiled.
Alice blushed, and it was then she smiled. She had not been complimented in such a long time. In fact, she could not even remember when. "Thank you."

But no more was said, as the both of them walked the dark hallways into the bright cheery garden. The headless servants followed closely behind.
The sky was turning the color of fire, as the sun set. On the horizon opposite the sun, there was a glowing large white orb surfacing.
Alice could see the top of the Hierogram peering over the hedges of the garden labyrinth. Even if she could only see a little bit of it, she knew that it looked impressive. Also, very mysterious-looking.
As they walked towards the center of the Labyrinth, The Queen started speaking.
"Alice.. you must do as Queen says. If Queen gets what Queen wants, Then both a glorious destiny shall await both of us. Do you trust Queen enough to obey every command Queen makes?"
Alice looked at the queen.. and again all she could see was her brother. So she answered honestly, "Yes. I would do anything you ask of me. This I swear with all my heart."
The Queen smiled. "Good. The Moon is rising in the sky now. When it's completely dark out, save for the full moon.... We shall quickly start the ritual in which the stone Hierogram shall be destroyed."

They got to the center, and Alice saw that the Cheshire Cat was tied up, chained to the Stone Hierogram.
Alice felt a pang of fear, although she could not fathom why. She did not really know this creature, save for remembering his name vaguely.
It was getting dark rapidly.. the sun had completely set.. and the purple sky was now fading into a black color. The light of the stars came out.. And the Moon was almost right in the sky completely.
It was as if the world was set on Fast forward towards this very moment that the queen was waiting for.

"Take this druid ceremonial knife.." The Queen said, as she handed Alice a curved knife which had almost the same runes on it as the Hierogram did. "You must do the ritual, For you are the only one with the druid powers in your bloodline here."
"What do I do with this?"
"Raise that knife high below that cat creature... and repeat after me when I say so."

Alice obediently did so, walking up the three steps so that she fully faced The Cheshire Cat. She then lifted the knife as if she was about to stab the cat to death.
However, she held it there right in midair, waiting for the Queen's next words.

The Queen then asked her to repeat the words, and Alice recited after her:

"Per Sarcalogos publicus
Ista necto iseaid universitas una
Ego necto tui lacuna ave.
Per luna auctorita,
Quae tres sophus femina
Laxo cunctus acia ab spiritus
Ista necto ieaid universitas una.
omnis necessarius habere esse narro itaque perfectus
Sic sino nos gradior crastinus luna via
grata universum nos requiro transmeo grata.
Clotho, abs-spina omnis ista vos habere perfectus.
Lachesis, sino illa esse modus atque spectare brevis.
Atopos, perseco antiquita aica ab ieaid universitas."

{{{ Note from Author: Okay, this whole thing is actually in Latin. As I hate to leave readreaders in the dark, I shall give you the English version. BTW, yes I did write the whole thing and it was really hard to translates! I'm not a latin expert, even though I know it.
In English it reads:
"By the words of the people
that bind this world together
I bind your words good bye.
By the moon's power,
let the three wise women
undo the threads of life and energy
that binds this world together.
All things needed have been said and done
So let us walk the morrow moon's road
to the worlds we desire to go across to.
Clotho, un spin all that you have done.
Lachesis, let it be measured and deemed short.
Atropos, Cut awhe ahe ancient thread of this world." anyway... back to the story! }}}

The Hierogram no longer looked like it was plain k stk stone and was now glowing brightly. Engulfed in white light that seemed to give off many different colors, almost liken a n a clear white crystal got hit by light.
It was giving off a loud humming noise, that was almost musical.

Alice was awed by how beautiful it got merely just by muttering the word-spell.

"Now!! Say the last words as you shed the cat's blood on the hierogram! Say those words: Laxo ieaid clax ab lacuna per primo cado ab cruor, atque sino nos gradior crastinus luna via ad ullus universitas nos requiro transmeo grata!" The Queen yelled, getting excited.

{{ transtles to: "Undo this stone of words by the first drop of blood, And let us all walk the moon's road towards any worlds we desire to go to." }}

Alice shouted the last words as she brought the Druid dagger down on the unconscious cat's chest... and she pulled out the bloody dagger, letting the bits of blood fly against the glowing stone.

The Cheshire cat ned ned loudly, coming back to full consciousness by the pain.
He was completely both surprised and horrified by the stab wound on himself; as well by seeing the bloody dagger that Alice was holding. He was alsnfusnfused to as what the hell he was tied to, that was giving off so much light and Vibrating.

The hierogram made a sound like it was shrieking in an almost musical-like manner, and a blast of light shot up into the sky... creating a large pillar of light that could be seen for million of miles aroby tby the remaining wonderland residents.

~~~~~
Like the Duchess and the Cook, who was sitting on the roof of their home together stargazing. To them, it was almost like as the night turned to day by the glowing pillar...even if the light was obviously miles and miles away.
"Look! What is that? it looks so beautiful.." The Duchess asked.
"Yes it is.." The cook replied, "But.. it gives me a really bad feeling for some reason.."
The Duchess sniffled, wiping her swollen red nose. She then cuddled up to the cook. "Don't worry. While we are together, I am sure nothing will go wrong.."
The cook smiled. "I'm sure you are right after all."
However, the cook was not so sure.. so she just held the duchess for comfort.
~~~~~
Dora was standing out of the healer's house, watching the pillar of light in the distance in awe.
The basket of herbs fell out of her hands, making a chatng nng noise as it hit the hard ground.
The Healer walked out of the house, calling for the small petite mouse.
"Dormouse! you get back into the house.. it's getting dark! I think you've gathered enough herbs for " Th" The healer called out, when he spotted the white mouse.
However, when he noticed what the female mouse waskingking at... he stared in awe as well.
He felt dread building up within him. "Oh my... I do not think that is a good sign." he mumbled.
Dora looked up at the healer, and took a hold of his hand. "Do you think Hatter and Adonis are okay? Is Alice okay too? Maybe I should had gone with them, even after both of them told me not to."
"I do not know. I just do not know." The healer answered the mouse, uncertain.
~~~~~~
At this point, Adonis and the others had ran out into the garden in an attempt to stop the Queen.
However, they weren't prepared for what they saw.
Headless soldiers were cheering for the Queen, as some strange light shot upwards into the sky from a glowing stone pillar.
The hedges started to dematerialize.. becoming ghost-like.
They noticed the castle itself starting to disappear as well.. with heads now flying all over the place.
It was like something out of a nightmare that Adonis had once.
"Oh no.. The Queen has already started the process of destroying both the Hierogram and Wonderland themselves!" Time gasped. It was the first time that he was able to foresee something like this. He had been so sure that he would had arrived with both Adonis and Hatter in time.\r "C "Can't there be something we can do stop this?" Hatter asked, deeply scared for the first time in his life.
Time tried to think of something fast, as Adonis ran though the ghostly hedges towards her sister.
"Alice! Are you all right!" Adonis yelled.
Alice looked into the eyes of The CCheshireCat, and saw hurt there. It was the kind of hurt as if he had been betrayed by somebody he trusted completely.
Alice felt a stab of guilt, for she knew that feeling all too well.
When she heard Adonis's voice call out to her, it was as if the fog was cleared away in her mind.
The memories of being in wonderland, everything from meeting the mad hatter up to where the Cheshire Cat helped her. Especially what with happened to her when she walked right into the Queen of Heart's castle.
Alice blinked hard, not sure what she had done.. until she saw the wounded Cheshire Cat tied to the glowing Hierogram, and the bloody Druid dagger in hand.
"My god, what have I done? I am so sorry.." Alice gasped out loud, dropping the dagger.
"It's all right, just let me free so that I can kill that Queen for forcing you into this situation." The Cheshire Cat growled.
"Alice!!" Adonis called out again, as he ran closer to her.
Alice spun around, and was completely delighted to see her little brother. "Adonis!"
They ran towards eacher,her, wrapping each other in a tight hug.
However, Alice knew right away that there was no time for joyous reunions. "Come on, we have to free the Cheshire cat!"
Adonis was not sure what was going on, but he trusted his sister. "All right."
They ran towards the Cheshire Cat, and started tugging on the chains with all their might.
The Queen, however, paid no mind to the new arrivals or to the fact that Alice had seemed to regain her memories.
In fact, The Queen of Hearts was celebrating by doing a very energetic jig.
"I WON! I knew I would." The Queen shouted with much child-like exuberance, "I'm the cleverest and the most beautiful of them all. And one day I will be the biggest conqueror of them all, and I will just keep on squeezing the life out of everyone.. I will have the biggest head collection of them all! I will have the greatest pleasure of them all.. everyone in the millions and millions of worlds shall love me forever!"
Alice groaned as she glanced at the queen. She wondered to herself on how she could had loved a person like that. Granted, she did look like her beloved brother.. but she was nothing like her brother at all.
"That manic that calls herself a queen is skipping about like some child, at a time like THIS?" She muttered.
Time then gasped. "Wait, I've got it! How to stop the Queen.."
Axel, who had been watching the whole thing unfold before his eyes, turned to look at Time.
"How?" He asked, feeling a small glow of hope within him.
"No time, we have to help Alice and Adonis free the Cheshire Cat before we can perform the counter-ritual!"
The hatter nodded. "All right, you got it!"
With that, both of them ran past the cheering headless people, who was also celebrating the Queen's victory.
The two residents of wonderland ran up the steps of the Hierogram, and started helping in pulling the chains off The Cheshire Cat.
The Queen went on wier cer celebrating. She skipped around the Hierogram, speaking in a sing-song voice: "I can leave soon. The Hierogram is broken. The land is over, now it starts. And once the land's gone, I shall fly right out of here. Look, My sweet Alice! Is not it beautiful? The STARS are FALLING!"
With that, she looked upwards into the sky.
Alice could not help but look upwards too, to see what the Queen saw.
True enough, the stars did indeed look as if they were falling.. each one of them grew brighter and bigger the closer they fell to wonderland. Alice had a sinking feeling that they were going to hit wonderland, and then the land itself would be burned completely, and utterly destroyed.
This dangerous madwoman was actually intending to go to her own world. While she did not think too highly of her mother and everyone else that she knew, they did not deserve the possibility of being killed by this woman who called herself the Queen of Hearts. Especially if she still had the ability of keeping beheaded people alive when she crossed over.
That was a fate that she would not wish even on her worst enemy. And what was more, she knew just how exactly powerful the Queen were. She had a sort of power to make others trust her, even without drugs. It would be so easy for her to kill normal humans.
It was then that Alice made her decision. Even if she was still weak and somewhat disoriented from the drugs that the Queen pumped into her, She was going to kill the queen.. or at least stop her from leaving at all.
"Keep your efforts on freeing the Cheshire cat, I am going to fight the Queen." Alice whispered to the others.
With that, she got up on wobbly legs and steadily made her way towards the Queen.
The Queen had stopped dancing about to admire the falling stars, and to watch for ripples in the air that signaled that she would soon be able to cross over.
She then noticed Alice coming towards her with a look of valor in her eyes.
She then laughed. "Why, My sweet Alice. you look like you are actually planning to stop Queen. But it is already too late to stop Queen. So You have a choice... you can die here, or you can become one of my trusted aides on the other side.. Especially when it comes to getting people for my head collection. Death... or Murder. Your choice."
The last words spoken by the Queen of Hearts actually seemed ave ave a trigger effect on Alice.
Alice gasped, suddenly clapping her hands right over her ears. Her eyes widened, as she started expernicing a part of the insane half-dream she had gone though when she was in the Torture Chamber.
She recalled the last words her other self had told her. Death, to finally be at peace. To Murder.. was to mean keeping her loved ones safe.
Alice did not know if it was the drug taking effect on her or just simply the side effect of losing her own mind, but she felt her inhibitions start to fade completely. For the first time, Alice was lng hng her dark side, her most disturbing thoughts loose. And it felt so good... In this place, she had no longer the need to repress herself.
In the past, she had been used as if she was only some object of pleasure.. she had been used like a puppet by her parents, and scorned by society itself. And now thanks to the Queen of Hearts, she also knew what the most extreme icalical pain was like.
And now it was time to let her rage loose on the Queen. And she was going to need it, Especially if she was going to have the guts to murder somebody completely.
"I choose murder." Alice answered, as sesumesumed walking towards the Q.
.
The Queen watched the change in Alice with fascination. The change in her expression and the way she walked was very small, yet it seemed to change Alice completely.
Before, she had been walking towards her as if she was about to enter some heroic battle, and now she simply was walking towards her with a much darker intent.
"So You are saying you would join Queen?" The Queen said, a little uncertain of what Alice's intentions were.
Alice laughed just as she got into striking distance of the Queen.
"No. I meant I choose Murder...espeically when it's YOU who is going to die!" With that, Alice jumped right on the queen.. and her hands wrapped right around the Queen's neck.
The Queen shrieked as she fell backwards, "They're trying to stop me! Off with their heads!"
With this, The alarmed headless soldier rushed right at the offenders like a swarm of bees.
It was just then the Cheshire Cat finally was able to summon up just about enough energy to teleport of the chains, and reappeared right in front of the oncoming headless soldiers.
Time then made a strange hand motion. There were ripples in the air. Both Adonis and Axel then found themselves with Croquet mallets that had just appeared out of nowhere.\r"Dra"Drat, I meant to summon spiked baseball bats but I suppose that will do." Time muttered, annoyed by some of his powers being so rusty. "Pardon me, I have to go to aid Alice in keeping the Headless soldiers away at bay."
The Mad Hatter laughed. "It's all right, I love to play Croquet... So I know how to use the croquet mallet."
Adonis gulped, trying to summon up the courage to take on creepy headless minions. "Okay, since I have a weapon.. I can do this."
With that, The both of them let out a mighty yell as they went into battle. There were loud thudding noises and the loud noises of impact as both Axel and Adonis wildly swung their mallets about. The headless people was around them now, and it seemed as if they were attacking from everywhere, in every direction. So it was not that hard to miss.
However, Both of them found it extremely hard to knock out even one out for very long... as seeing without their heads, they could not get knocked out. However, the one blessing they found in battling the headless soldiers was that they could still feel pain.
Axel particularly went right for their crotches, whenever it be kicking them there with his big boots, or just simply using the mallet.
Much to his amusement, the soldiers could easily feel the pain of being kicked in the crotch just easily as any normal people could.
Adonis found that going right for their limbs to be very effective. Especially when the bones in their arms and legs made this sickly, loud cracking noise.. like the sounds of bones being has broken. The soldiers let out loud, disembodied screams as they fell down.
But more still kept on coming their way, and Adonis was in desperate need for so many to stop coming like they were endless.
He felt like he was about to have a heart attack, which was not a very good thing for a teenage boy his age.
And the fact that there was flying heads overhead making such a racket did not help at all.
Having The Cheshire Cat on their side seemed to keep the count down though. The Cat was down on all fours, claws exceeded. With him baring his teeth in the most ferocious way, He looked like he was more a deadly wild cat more than he was humanoid.
He clawed at everyone coming his way, and often tore out their limbs in a very bloody, vicious way.
He looked like he was completely crazed, and completely bloodthirsty.. He was attacking every headless person in sight like he intended to keep on fighting until he was dead. Or until THEY were dead.
As if any observers needed more proof that he had--to put it bluntly--gone ape-shit, the loud roar emitting from his throat was enough to keep some of the headless soldiers from blindly charging right at him.
Not that you could blame the hesitating ones, of course... that roar was enough to make a grown man wet his pants and cry like a little girl.
Alice seemed to be in the same mood the Cheshire Cat was in, for she was just viciously attacking and clawing at the Queen like there was no tomorrow. Probably very true here... for nobody knew what the outcome was going to be at all.
The Queen was now completely outraged... she could not believe that some common girl like Alice had the gall to attack royalty.
Her face was completely red like a tomato, as she started reaching for one of Alice's weak spots.
Which just happened to be Alice's long hair. The Queen actually grabbed it, and just pulled on it with such a force that she actually tore a large handful of hair out.
Alice's rage grew even more at this point, and she actually let out a bloodthirsty scream that would had been easily heard miles around.
Time had now grown to a teenage form. He had somewhat longish brown hair, and his eyes were wide right now.
Time had used his powers to put a barrier right around both the Queen and Alice, so that none of the Soldier could get to both of them. He was not sure that if he should cut into the fight himself..t frt from the looksthe the way the cat fight was going, he felt that maybe it was wiser to stay out of it.
He sighed. The Hierogram was this close to disappearing along with of all wonderland... If Alice did not kill the Queen in time to do the ritual with him, He would had no choice expect to freeze everything. Inducing himself and everyone that was on his side. It would be the only way to keep Wonderland from being completely destroyed, until some random visitoouldould hopefully come along and find a way to stop the Hierogram from disappearing.
He just hoped that it never had to come to that.
Alice's rage had grown to a point where she was actually moving faster than the queen, and even stronger than the Queen was. She had actually performed some sort of karate-like move where she moved in to paralyze the queen by throwing the woman to the floor, and used the high-heeled boots she was wearing to break her legs.
The Queen screamed in pain as her left leg got broken. For the first time in her life, she was truly scared.
As her attacker went to fetch the bloody dagger on the floor, She made an attempt to escape by crawling away.
Alice noticed this, and made a tsk-ing noise. She said in a mocking imitation of the Queen's voice: "Now, my sweet Queen... you would not think of escaping from Alice? All Alice wants to do is repay you for being such a good host to Alice...."
With that, She quickly walked right over to the Queen, and rolled her over so that she was face up.
Despite the struggling of the Queen, Alice was able to pin her down easily because the Queen of hearts was unable take the pain from her own legs whenever movemoved.
Alice smirked. "Man, you can sure dish it out but you cannot take it? Mm, I wonder which one I should choose.. Slitting your throat... or strangling you? Or maybe I should break every bone in your body first..."
Queen spat out, "Do you think you can kill Queen without suffering the conquences?? You will be sorry!"
Alice ignored those last words. She simply grinned, almost in an eerie Cheshire Cat imitation. "Mm. I think I shall go with strangling you.. since you did tell me you enjoyed doing that so much with other people. You would not refuse me the chance to see what sort of thrill that holds for you?"
With that, she wrapped her hands right around the Queen's thorax, and wasted no time in squeezing her throat.
Alice put all the force in her body towards cutting off that air supply, and she found herself actually enjoying this act.
Especially when the loathsome queen struggled, attempting to get free.
Alice let out a loud, manical laugh. "You're right... In a way, Murder can be quite the thrill... But you know something, My sweet Queen? You should not had messed with the fine line between the living and the dead. When you mess with stuff like that, you are bound to have to pay for it sooner and later. Guess what? Your payment... starts.. now!"
With that, she squeezed the throat with the force of her thumbs so much that blood actually started pooling up in the Queen's mouth, and ran down the sides of her mouth.
The queen's last gasp came as a gurgling noise, making the blood in her mouth bubble.
Alice did not even filch at seeing the blood. She just simply started cutting the queen's neck, to make sure that she was fully dead.
With some sasfication, Alice got to her feet carrying in her hands the freshly beheaded queen's head.
"Halt!!" She screamed, the words echoing.
With that, the fight suddenly came to a stop.
Alice held up the served head, holding it up by the hair. She simply stated: "Servants of the Queen, stop now. The queen is now dead... there are longer no need for you to carry out her orders. As the person that killed your Queen, I command you to stop attacking us."
Dead silence came over the headless soldiers and the servants. With that, they all slowly backed off, one by one.
Adonis breathed a sigh of relief, happy that it was finally all over.
Axel and the Cheshire Cat simply regained their composure after having gotten into the thrill of the battle.
"There are no time to lose, Alice! We must restore the Hierogram before all is lost!" Time yelled.
Alice then turned to face him, dropping the head.
"I barely remember what I even did at all. How can I stop it?" Alice asked.
Time answered, "There is a way of stopping the Hierogram. But to do so.. it requires shedding the blood of somebody that has druid blood-lines. That leaves only you and Adonis. I know the words that would counter what the Queen has done."
Adonis replied. "It will be be pretty, but I will do it. I do not have to be killed, right? All I need to do is make a cut on myself.."
Alice shook her head. "No... you are not, Adonis. I get the feeling there is more to this than Time tells us. What would happen to the person who would get his or her blood shed on the Hierogram?"
Time sighed. "Well, for one thing... your soul would forever become bonded to the Hierogram, making you a part of wonderland itself. As one of its enter al residents, actually. You would then longer have no place in the other world that you came from."
Adonis gasped. "But... how can you expect us to do something like that?!"
Alice smiled wanly. "Then in that case, I shall do it. The other world no longer holds anything of import to me."
Adonis gaped at Alice, not believing his ears.
Alice noticed the look Adonis gave her. She then shook her head. "Don't be like that, Adonis. You know I was never happy in that world in the first place. I would had killed myself a long time ago, if I did not know wonderland... and of course, because of you. You needed to be protected. But from what I've seen...the way you took on those headless monsters... it seems that you've learned how to protect youf. Yf. You do not need me any longer."
Adonis blinked back tears. In his heart, he wanted to protest loudly against this. But rationally, he knew why Alice was doing this.
Even Alice was the most jaded and the most troubled person that he ever had the privilege of knowing, she had a good heart. She truly believed that everyone, even people of other worlds... deserved to live. Just since they did not do anything to hurt her and him.
Not to mention everyone here was quickly running out of Time, despite the odd person standing beside them.
Alice did not say anything else, and went to walk up to the hierogram.
Time moved to her side, and begin to chat in latin as Alice started slitting her wrists with the bloody dagger.
"Quae aquilo lacuna ab nex especspectare falsus, ah deus!
Quae tui lacuna persevero ad concateno ieaid universitas.
Quae Moerae accpio clementia undique, per aquilo cruor atque cor
Ab ieaid femina atque miror-terra!
Nam vicis dico undique, aquilo olympus ab stella
Ab induco suus lux, ab necto ieaid universtias una.."
Time muttered the spell, as Alice pressed her wrists against the Hierogram. The blood dripped down, And then all a sudden everything was covered in a flash of light......
==================================================================
Ack, another cliffhanger! And this time I did not even mean to leave it there. That is just this chapter was getting so long..
But really good, I must say. I actually typed this in a whole night.. and all that Latin I had to translate gave me this massive headache.
By the way the counter-spell Time mumbled was also in Latin. it translates to the effect of:
"Let the north winds' words of death be deemed false, O gods!
Let your words continue to bind together this world..
Let the Moerae take mercy on all sides, by the blood and soul
of this woman and wonder-land!
For Time calls on all sides, the heaven of stars
to lead their light, to bind this world together.."
Who knew that Latin from High school would actually come in handy? ^^;; even if I did just only get a C- on my latin grades..
Okay, the next chapter define will be the ending. I never expected for this chapter to get so long.
Catch the thrilling ending on the next installation of Alice the 19th~!
By the way.. I hope you readers had a good nap or something before you read this... ^_~ *nudges Angelique and Princess Lemon as a hint* Naps are good.... VERY good. Hehehe.
