purpleranger76: Thanks for being the first reviewer on aff.net. I tried to come up with something unique and I hope I can continue to be innovative. Feel free to review at any time.

"Well, we've been waiting here almost a fort night on those Calormenes to attack us and they haven't. I then must ask your majesty to charge at our enemy, and if your majesty isn't willing to charge, then the dwarves will charge by ourselves," the head dwarf proclaimed.

Peter sighed. He had no choice, "We attack at dawn."

Rishda smirked. The Narnians had become impatient and were now making a charge at them. The Tisroc raised his sword and the Calormenes met the Narnian charge head on. However, apart of the Calormene army now was Azaroth and Zardeenah, who immediately turned their sights onto Jadis.

"Archers!" Susan called out and as one, all the Narnian archers loaded an arrow and fired. The Calormen arrows soon flew as well. Swords clanged and clashed up at front as both armies tried to overcome the other's man power.

"You're not capturing me again!" Shazarraah shouted as she defended against four large Calormene soldiers. Her speed and quickness was the only thing keeping her from being taken yet again. They tried to slice into her legs, but she kept moving, keeping the larger Calormenes off balanced.

"You are nothing of your former self," Zardeenah growled as she and Azaroth attacked Jadis.

"I wish not to be my former self," Jadis growled as she tried to blast her opponents with magic.

"Have no blade to fight us with?" Azaroth taunted. Jadis growled and continued to fire spells at them. They were too powerful and quick to even attempt to turn them into stone.

"I don't need a blade as long as I have my wand," Jadis proclaimed and fired off another burst of magic, making the pair back off for a moment.

"You are strong, but not strong enough!" Zardeenah shouted and the fight continued.

"I see your witch is having some trouble. Shouldn't you go to her?" Rishda taunted.

"Not while there is a Tisroc to kill," Peter grunted.

"Your army got impatient!" Rishda shouted and continued to stab at the High King.

"Well, your army didn't want to attack. what, are your people afraid of us barbarians?" Peter taunted back.

"We are not afraid of a bunch of pale barbarians!" Rishda shouted. Peter smiled to himself. If Rishda lost his cool, his attacks would become quite sloppy and that was going to be when the High King would have him.

Jill was watching Eustace, worried for him. However, she had to pay attention to her own problem. She, along with a lot of the archers were running low on arrows. Fortunately, a lot of the time, the Narnian archers would be able to retrieve a Calormene fired arrow and send it back to where had come from. However, the moment the Calormenes caught on to this, they started setting their arrows ablaze, making things even more difficult for the Narnian archers to defend the rest of the army from the Calormene archers.

"Trying to get over to your dog, barbarian?" a Calormene soldier taunted Edmund. "Have you had fun with her, or do Narnian barbarians not know how to have fun with a woman?"

"Ahhhhhh!" Edmund screamed, seeing red. In a matter of moments, Calormene blood started to paint the ground as Edmund hacked and slash at the Calormenes that were in front of him. Eventually, the enraged king of Narnia made it over to the four large Calormenes that were fighting Shazarraah. One cried out in pain as his left arm was separated from his body. The other three, so stunned to see such a sight, retreated to behind the Calormene line.

"Nice," Shazarraah complimented.

"Sorry, I know..."

"I wouldn't have been able to keep that pace up for much longer. It was a good thing you went berserk," Shazarraah said with a grin.

"I don't normally lose my cool like that," Edmund said and blocked a stroke from a soldier and the two fought side by side against the storm of soldiers that were coming their way.

Jadis was breathing hard. The two before her were wearing her down. Even though she had superior strength, Azaroth and Zardeenah were matching it with speed and cunning. Finally, they got close enough and gave the former White Witch a wound. Her cry of pain reached Peter's ears. This distraction almost cost him, but he managed to block the deadly strike from Rishda.

"She's going to die, you better accept that," Rishda said.

Looking out of the corner of his eye, he could see that the two were getting ready for the final blow. With inhuman speed, Peter's sword blocked Zardeenah's attack and almost destroyed Azaroth's axe.

"Fall back, fall back!" Peter called out. With Jadis hurt, they would have to pull back if they didn't want two god like beings joining in the actually combat.

"Push them back!" Rishda shouted. The Calormenes gave chase, forcing the Narnians almost a mile behind their own border before the Narnians pushed them back to just inside the border.

Peter quietly sighed as he watched Jadis sleep. He had let the dwarves' impatience to go into battle get to him and it had almost cost them. He wouldn't make that mistake ever again. The Calormenes would have to come at them if they wanted to end this.

"It is time, make your way to the land of the stone table. Have your archers use fiery arrows and burn the place down!" Tash ordered.

"I hear and obey, but they didn't defeat..." Rishda began.

"The witch won't be a concern once the land where Aslan died and came back from the dead is destroyed! Once then, Narnia will be a burnt out province of Calormen."

"I hear and obey, lord Tash," Rishda said and the visage of Tash disappeared. He smiled to himself. He would burn everything from the border to the land of the stone table.
