Peter moaned in his sleep and reached for Wendy. It only took him a moment to realize she wasn’t there; he had gotten so used to sleeping with her that his body knew immediately when something was wrong. He sat up and looked around, frowning into the dark. He tried to call her name but his voice still wouldn’t form the words.

“Wen-“ he started to whisper but a hand appeared out of the darkness and clapped over his mouth.

“It’s only perfect that you can’t scream, boy, because your precious Wendy can’t hear you anyway.” Peter’s eyes widened in horror as his worst nightmare came true. He tossed his head and fought as hard as he could but as always, Hook was still stronger than he was. Hook easily pushed Peter forward onto his stomach, shoving his face into the blanket. Peter pushed up with shaking hands and if he could have screamed, his scream would have awoken all of Neverland. In front of him on the blankets, in a blood pool the size of the Mermaids’ Lagoon, were his wife and daughter.

“No,” Peter croaked. He spun around to face Hook and his nightmare was baring his teeth at him, his bloodstained hook gleaming in the moonlight. Peter shook his head as if to shake away the moment and turned back to his loved ones, attempting to crawl toward them. Wendy was closest to him, her eyes wide in fear, a deep gash across her throat and blood pooling from the wound. Her arm was stretched in front of her toward him, as if she had tried to reach him for help. He stared into her blank eyes for the longest time, hoping, praying somehow they would blink and she would whisper his name. He closed his eyes, praying the image would disappear but when he opened them again, Wendy was still staring at him in death. Their baby was inches away from Wendy, her tiny fist closed at her side. Tears flowed down Peter’s face as he crawled toward them but the steel hook plunged itself into Peter’s back, making him stop and cry out. Hook threw himself on top of Peter and tugged at his hair so that Peter was looking directly at Wendy and Lily. He whimpered at the sight.

“They died because of you. Tragedy follows you wherever you go, Pan. You will never escape me and you will never have a happy ending.” Peter didn’t even fight as he was yanked backwards and felt Hook insert a finger into his taut hole. He closed his eyes and lowered his head, hoping Hook would kill him too after he had finished with him. For the moment though Hook was enjoying himself as he attempted to loosen Peter with another finger. Bringing his cock closer to the boy’s ass, he spread his pre-cum all over Peter’s cheeks and along his crevices. Pushing himself in, he hissed at Peter to sit up on all fours. When Peter did so, Hook reached around and started to stroke Peter’s manhood. Peter was sickened when his body started to respond. He shook his head fiercely and made himself calm down. Hook let out a cry of outrage and thrust into him fiercely. Peter was numb to the pain. He didn’t feel anything as Hook plundered his body. Hook flipped him over and flung the boy’s legs over his shoulders, driving into him and running his hook down Peter’s soft flesh. When Peter didn’t respond in the slightest, Hook yanked Peter up by the hair and dropped him right beside Wendy. He cried sobbed as he was soaked in her blood and he tried to cradle her limp body but Hook gave him a hard kick in the chest, sending him backwards.

“I’ll finish you just like I finished her. Nice and slow.” Peter lowered his head to Wendy’s breast and wept, not caring what became of him now.

“Peter.” He gasped when he heard her soft voice. But how?! “Peter?”

“Ignore her, Peter. You’re mine.”

“Peter,” her voice sounded more urgent. “Peter, wake up.”

His eyes fluttered open and he instinctively ran his hand over his face, expecting to see trails of blood. But Wendy was right beside him, her hands on his shoulders and not a trace of blood on her. Without a word, Peter pulled her into his arms and held onto her for dear life. Wendy felt his body shaking and she tenderly kissed his shoulder blades and arms.

“It’s ok, Peter, we’re ok. It’s just going to take us awhile to get rid of these nightmares. But we’ll help each other through it, my love. We’ll always be here for each other. He lost and that’s all there is to it. He’s gone and we’re free. Oh sweetheart, please don’t cry.” She felt his warm tears run down her arms and she tightened her grip around him. Just as he had done for her earlier, she held him close and assured him she loved him. Peter broke away and silently went over to Lily’s bed and stared at her for the longest time. She was saddened to see tears still streaming from his eyes as he stared at their daughter. She joined him and rested her hand on his cheek. He took it in his own and kissed it gently.

“We may be free of him, Wendy, but will we ever be free of these terrible nightmares?” She gave him a tender smile and repeated his words to her.

“Someday.”
