Epilogue
Author's Notes:
I'm sad to say that this is the final chapter! I've thought long and hard on how I want this to end, and so here it is, finally.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel, however; I have finally finished all four books and have a little more insight to the story than I did at the beginning of this fiction, so I will, eventually, revise and probably rewrite a lot of the chapters, maybe even add a few more, so keep your eyes peeled for new updates! Also, I may just continue the story with some new and old faces; I hope you all would enjoy that, if I get around to it. :D
I just want to thank everyone who has reviewed and a pre-emptive thank you for everyone who might review this in the future; I often check on that (almost every day) because every review gives me the fuel to write a novel of my very own, and hopefully I will get published, and those of you who've read my fan fictions will follow me into the fully published world.
Thank you all so much; I greatly appreciate your praise and criticism; it's something that makes me feel healthy and alive when it comes to being/becoming a writer. Thank you so much!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The months drifted by, and I ended up going back on my promise to never become a mechanic; I was working at a garage just outside of Forks, and my expertise in car repair had my paychecks relatively comfortable. I saved every penny I could, dumping my checks into a new checking account, and putting a little aside each paycheck into a savings account; if I were going to start a family with Amelia, we would have to have a nest egg to fall back on. Every conceivable moment I could spend with Amelia, we spoke about our futures; when we would get married, the ceremony, who to invite, whether we would make it traditional or not, where we would live, how soon we would have children, and if we did have children, how many we would want... By the end of our conversations, we were both exhausted and our brains were wiped.
Amelia and I finally decided to announce to our families that we were going to be married, and no one really seemed surprised; we had been inseparable since we'd met, and our families had decided that it would only be a matter of time before we'd made the announcement. We sat down with our family and solidified some of our plans, and things ended up a bit less tight on the monetary end than we thought it would be.
Amelia had become excellent friends with Bella and Alice Cullen, and the three of them had put heads together on making a wedding planner. I promised Amelia that whatever she and the Cullen women had planned, I would go with it; it was going to be her day, and I would save up every penny I had earned to make her plans possible.
Months passed, plans were solidified, and we were married. The ceremony was small, and we had saved a lot of money on it by having Alice make the dresses, Emily and Esme do the cooking, Carlisle be the justice of the peace, Rosalie be the photographer, and Jasper be the DJ. I felt extremely in debt to the Cullen family for everything that they had done for us, but they all assured me that they were doing it all out of love and wanted nothing in return. I was extremely thankful, and still am to this day.
Amelia and I enjoyed several years of blissful marriage, using what money we had saved up to get a small love nest set up inside of the reservation. Eventually, she gave birth to beautiful twin boys, and everyone seemed to know that they would be special in their own right, and perhaps have adventures of their own, someday.
Only time would tell if they would find the happy ending that their parents had, but everyone had their hopes.
