2) A Tale of Tea and Sushi
Princess Lemon

Lime stormed away from the chessboard style feild and, following what she thought to be a good feeling, hung a right onto the dusty old road. Her shoes went tat tat tat as she walked down the road towards gods only knew where.

'Well, if I'm in Wonderland, I think I better find some place that's safe...if that's possible...Well, I sure as hell am NOT going to go see that bloody queen of hearts. Last time I checked her favourite phrase was 'Off with her...',' Lime thought to herself. Yet she was so lost in thought that she didn't notice thed road sign untill she walked smack into it. This startled her and she stumbled back several feet before she looked up and noticed the sign. The princess quickly glanced around to see if anyone had seen what had just occured as a light blush made itself known on her face.

Seeing no one out in the open, she let out a breath of relief. Yet there was no one to be seen, someone unseen had saw what occured and snickered under their breath. Lime took a couple more steps back and looked back up at the sign post. It was a seven foot tall post with a multiple of small signs nailed onto it. From the looks of the wood, it had been there a while...a long while by the looks at how worn the signs were.

"Shit. Who the hell is suposse to up keep the signs around here, I can barely make these chicken scratches out," Lime muttered aloud to herself. Suddenly, a gust of wind blew in her face. She closed her eyes to protect them from any dust and just as suddenly as the wind blew in her face, the blew blew at her back. Lime opened her eyes and noticed that the wind appeared to be blowing down one particular path.

'Interesting, looks like I'm being guided. Well the yellow brick road,' Lime thought to herself as she walked down the path the wind was blowing down, 'Well, more like the dusty yellow road...but I guess you get the idea.' Lime left the webwork of paths far behind her and made her way towards a thick patch of forest that loomed ahead of her.

'Maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all,' Lime thought to herself, getting this creepy vibe as she entered the woods. I know, if it was any of us in that situation we'd turn righ around. But this is Wonderland, the path doesn't always take you back where you came from. *heavy sigh*

So, as I was saying.

Lime walked into the foreboding forest while keeping a trained eye on all her suroundings. She may not have gotten here the same way as Alice did, but who's to say that she wouldn't be jumped by a giant deck of cards, those Tweedle twins or even...

Just then, Lime was surprised when a dark male figure appeared ahead of her, hanging upside down from one of the trees. Lime gasped as she jumped back a step and looked up at the new person with an apparent look of surprise on her face. The guy grined at this and his grin revealed a mouth full of pearly white teeth, four of which was a stunning set of fangs. Yet what was so odd about this grin was that it actually spread across his face!

Lime also noticed that fact that this guy also had a set of very obvious cat ears...purple cat ears actually. In fact, his whole body was covered in a fine pale purple fur complimented by a set of tiger like violet stripes that were painted on the sides of his face, down his back and on the sides of his arms and legs.

The man moved back up into the tree a little but this was so he could let got of the branch. Lime watched in awe as he fell from the branches, twisted around and landed on the path in a crouching position. Lime could see now that this guy was part cat and part human...if that's possible in these parts. It was only now that Lime noticed that this guy had a long sleek tail which was painted by more stripes and on his head was long black scruffy looking hair.

The catman then stood up slowly yet surely, causing only a faint jingle noise to drift from his form. Lime saw a black collar with a silver bell hanging lossely around his neck...and that this was all that he wore! Save for the collar, he was as naked as the day he was born. Lime was upseted by this for only a fraction of a moment before she regained her composure and looked him square in his deep blue eyes as he stood taller than her...he had to be close to seven feet tall at the most with a lean yet muscular body. Well, of course he had to be strong if hee was able to hang upside down from a tree without bating an eyelash or breaking a sweat.

"Hello. Now, who might you be to be so bold as to enter my woods?" the catman asked curiously.
"Lime...my name is Lime, Princess Lime," Lime said, slowly getting the nerve to talk.
"Princess? Hmmm, I guess I should be honored then to have one so nobel as yourself in my presence," he said.

"May I ask, praytell, who you are then?" Lime asked with genuine curiosity.
"Yes, forgive my manners your highness," the cat man said with a grin that was half the size of the one that he originally gave her.

"I am the Chesire Cat," the cat man said and Lime sucked in a sharp breath of surprise.
'H-he's the Chesire Cat!?' Lime thought as Chesire Cat looked at her a bit puzzled.
"Something wrong?" he asked.
"No, it's just that tales I have heard of you don't do you justice," Lime said quickly.
"Oh, and what are they saying about me?" the Chesire Cat asked as he leaned down to be face to face with the nervous princess.

'Great, what do I tell him now?' she thought to herself.
"That, you're a cunning predator who leads the unwary astray," Lime said, trying to keep it mnore of a comment rather than a nervous question. Obviously it work because the wide grin return to his face as he leaned in closer to her.

"You heard right my dear," he said with a light growl in the back of his throat. Lime could feel the breath catch in the back of her throat as the alrm bells went off in the back of her head and she blurted out the first thing that came to her mind...

"Sushi," Lime said suddenly and the Chesire Cat looked at her puzzled.
"Excuse me?"
"Sushi. Free roaming sushi, that way," Lime said and pointed to her left. Lime watched as he looked to his right and was curious when he raised an eyebrow. She slwoly turned her head and her jaw dropped to see what looked to be a seven foot tall silver version of Charlee the Tuna from Sunkisk, just skipping along a different path as if he was the most normal thing in the world.

'What in the holy name of soda and pop rocks?' Lime thought to herself as the Chesire Cat licked his chops before he turned back to Lime.

"I'm only going to say this once. Stay here," he said and then he went off to stalk and then kill the giant tuna which he had specially named lunch in his mind. But Lime didn't listen. The moment she knew he wasn't paying attention to her anymore, she quietly slipped away and continued down the road. It was when she was well far away from the Chesire Cat when she found another fork in the road. She found another sign post yet there was only two signs this time...and they both led to the same place.

"Ok, if I go left I'll hit the March Hare's house. If I go right, I'll hit the Mad Hatter's house...well, either way I'll be going to the same place," Lime said with a shrug and hung a right. She didn't know how long it took her but after a long strech of woods and dusty path she found it, the Mad Hatter's house. The moment that she saw it in the distance, she could hear what sounded like either a groaning organ or weakly mouth blown jugs. Lime arched an eyebrow at this as she continued to walk towards the white stone house with the straw thachet roof.

When she got close enough to the house to read the numbers...if there were any...on the house, she could see a light fog eminating from the backyard, which was lined all around by eight foot tall hedges. Lime neglected the front door and went straight to the iron wrought gate. She ginerly reached out and gave it a light push only to have to swing away from her while giing off a whine that said the hinges needed to be oiled. She walked the length of the side of the house and stopped in her tracks when she was truely in the back yard.

There, at a long royal blue table was the Mad Hatter, the March Hare and the Door Mouse. While the Door Mouse snoozed away all curled up on a silver serving platter, the Hatter and the Hare appeared to having a grand old time as they threw themselves a tea party with all the fixings.Yet the table wasn't set for just the three oem, em, the whole table was covered with tea pots, tea cups and small platters of various niblets and the sides of the table was lined with chairs of various sizes, colors desidesigns...and this was the only thing that was normal about the sceen.

Just like the Chesire Cat, these three looked different than what Lime had been told from the book. To start off, they were taller than the Disney had made them. The Hatter and the Hare were the size of adult men whith the Hatter being two to three inches taller than the hare (if you measure them both from the crown of their heads rather than to tip of the Hare's ears or the top of the Hatter's hat) and the Mouse appeared to be no more than a young boy whom Lime was unable to determine just how old he was at the moment.

The Hare was covered in gray fur and appeared to be in his twenties or thrities. Though human in form, he had a pair of long rabbit ears that stood tall on top of his head and protruded from his scruffy looking hair which was a lighter shade gray than his fur and long white whiskers grew out form the sides of his nose. He laughed wildly as he waved around a tea cup which was ultimatly smased upon the table and one of the bigger peices was promptly picked up only to be nibbled on. Lime wasquitquite sure if this was his intentions or if he had mistaken it for a cookie from one of the nearby trays. In the end, she decided she didn't really want to know.

The Hatter sat at the head of the table and didn't look to be that much older than the Hare himself. His shoulder length auburn hair poured out from under his trade mat top hat ye loo looked as if in need of a mild brushing or at least a hair tie. He was caucasion with almost midnight blue eyes that sparkled with amusment as he continously poured tea in every tea cup within his reach. Lime noticed how len the couple looked and the fleeting question if they worked out at any time tap danced its way through her mind...very quickly might I add.

The Mouse had a mop of tawny brown hair from which a set of mouse ears and every once in awhile he would twitch his nose when a couple drops of tea would fall on his, thus making his black whiskers known against his light brown fur. From where she was standing, he appeared to be wearig nothing while he slept...in fact, it looked as if the Hatter and Hare were wearing nothing as well. Lime could feel a warmth on her face and she knew that she was blushing. Taking all these facts into consideration, she thought it would be a good idea to leave as quietly as possible...maybe she could come back later when it would be less embarrasing or something. Yet this thought was shattered when she took a step backwards and stepped on a twig which just had to sound like she took a branch and snapped it in half.

The sudden noise stopped the party and the Hatter & the Hare looked over to the source to see Lime standing there with this look of surprise on her face. The words "oh shit" kept repeating themselves themselves a mile a minute in her head as the two stared at hhe whe whole time before they glanced at each other with big grins on their faces.

"Alice!" they both sho and and Lime looked ready to collaspe from shock.
"Excuse me? My name's not Alice, my name is..." Lime began to explain but was cut short when the two jumped up from their seats and each grabbed a arm to pull her over to the table. Lime took this time to notice that the two were indeed dressed...if you could cal it that. The Hatter wore a pair of navy blue dress pants that huged his form like a glove to show off 'all' his curves while Har Hare wore what looked to be a leather pair of thongs that were having trouble holding him in as he walked around.

"We missed you Alice," the Hare said.
"Yes, you must rehoin the party," the Hatter said as he used his left hand to pull back the pink chair the left of his chair. Lime let out a heavy sigh and sat down as the Hare pushed in the chair. Once she was seated the two sat back in their own seats.

"So, is this another Un-Birthday party?" Lime asked curiouslyWhatWhat's an Un-Birthday?" the Hatter asked as he passed her a powder blue tea cup that had silver etching and a pair of turtle doves painted on one side. Lime accepted the tea cup and was about to explain when she heard a child like yawn. She looked to the serving tray to see that the Door Mouse was waking up.

"Did I hear someone say that Alice is back?" the Door Mouse asked...in a very feminine voice. Lime blinjed her eyes twice in surprise and watched mutely as the Door Mouse unculred from the detal position and kneeled on the platter, facing Lime while rubbing the sleep out her eyees, es, the Door Mouse was definitally a girl. Lime could tell this by the fact that she was indeed naked save for the big blue bow tied around her neck. Once all the sleepy bugs were gone, the Door Mouse looked at Lime with big brown eyes.

"Alice?" Door Mouse asked quizzally, noticeiightight off that this didn't look like the Alice she knew.
"Ah! She's so cute!" Lime squealed and surprised the trio. Yet she surprised the Door Mouse a little more than she meant to and the Door Mouse's eyes began to bead with tears.

"Uh oh," the Hare said as he began to cringe in his seat.
"Uh oh?" Lime asked, highly confussed. Lime soon got her answer as the Door Mouse began to cry. But she wasn't just crying, she was wailing like Serena from Sailor Moon. Lime and the Hare quickly covered her ears as all the birds within ear shot were scared away from the area. Lime glanced up at the fleeig birds only to noptice that the Hatter was calmly sipping tea from a black cup with pearl inlet.

"Can't he hear it?" Lime called out over the crying and Hare shook his head. Hatter then put down his cp of tea to hold up a sign which Lime quickly read.

"She'll stop crying if you sing. But I only know two songs," Lime said.
"Anything! Just sing!" HareHare cried out. Lime nodded and turned to the Door Mouse, "I've got a lovelly bunch of coconuts, here they are standing in a row..." Lime stopped singing when Door Mouse oly wailed louder.

"Songs like that won't work Alice dear, don't you know anything softer?" Hatter asked. Lime threw him a glare before she tried again, this time singing Melfina's song in Japanese. She sung each word perfectly and this song calmed Door Mouse down.

"I liked your song," the Door Mouse said.
"Thank you very much," Lime said with a smile which DoorMouse returned before she crawled off the table and into a surprised Lime's lap.

"Wow, she must really like you," Hare said, astonsihed. Lime just smiled at this as she lightly wrapped her arms around DoorMouse, mainly as a protective gesture to prevent from falling out of her lap...if that situation should ever come to pass. Lime then glanced back over at the Hatter only to see him pulling something of of his ears.

"Ear plugs? You were wearing ear plugs?" Lime demanded.
"Of course I was," Hatter said casually as he picked up another cup of tea and began to drink form it as Lime threw him another glare."So "So Alice, where have you been all this time?" March Hare asked as he nibbled on a cookie.
"I'm not Alice," Lime said said, not hiding the frost in her voice as Hare raised an eyebrow at this.
"She's changed, Alice is the Alice we knew," DoorMouse said in her timid little voice.
"She's right Hare, Alice dear appears to have grown since we saw her last," Hatter said.
"Oh?" Hare asked and looked Lime over again, thus making her blush under such scruitny.
"She has grown, hasn't she?" Hare asked and Lime threw him a glare.
"Well, you have been gone awhile so what can you contribute to the party?" Hatter asked.
"Contribute?" Lime asked. Hatter nodded, "What can you do to make this party...more enjoyable?" Lime was puzzled by this comment and put on her best thinking face before an idea came to her mind and she snapped her fingers in silent Eureka. She checked the pockets of her dress and found several small sheets of paper. She cleared out a spot on the table and set forth folding the paper into five different birds.

"What are you doing?" DoorMouse asked curiously.
"Watch," Lime said as she finished folding the last one and then held her hands out over the paper birds. She silently chanted some words as the palms of her h glo glowed a lime green color which was transfered to the paper birds. In three heart birds, the paper birds came to life and began to fly around the table.

"Birdies," DoorMouse gasped as she reached out for some of the small birds.
"You learned magic?" Hare asked and Lime nodded happily as she reclaimed the cup of tea she was given.
"Yes, my whole family knows magic," she said proudly and then took a couple sips of the tea as the Hatter watched this while hiding a grin behind his own tea cup. Lime stopped part way into her fourth sip when she began to feel a little odd. It started first in the back of her head, a fluffy empty feeling which made her head feel empty and light. This light emerged from its nest and began to spread to the rest of the head and began to blur her vision once it reached the optical nerves.

Lime put down her tea cup as she rubbed her eyes a bit but the bluring continued. Lime frowned at this as her head became lighter and she heard the DoorMouse yawn before falling back to sleep and some chuckling. Lime looked up to see that Hatter had put down his tea and stood up before he approached her while the Hare got out of his own seat to remove the sleeping DoorMouse from her lap.

Lime glanced up the Hatter, her head feeling as if it was being pulled by a puppet string. She opened her mouth to ask a question yet was cut off when Hatter leaned down and covered her mouth with his lips and kissed her. Lime could feel her eyes grow wide in surprise as his tounge slipped in the exlpore her mouth. Lime lifted a hand to protest this but it was swiftly caught by one of his and he held it up in the air as she felt another hand feeling up her side.

She thought it was him but was soon surprised by another hand which joined the other on her side and finally a fourth on her cheek. Lime glanced to her left to see that March Hare was before her and feeling her up with this miefchious look on his face as his hands traversed from her sides to her chest to feel up her soft breasts and entice her nipples from revealing their hiding places. Lime knew she was blushing again from the warmth in her cheeks but she felt more like a puppet on invisble string by the moment. When Hatter finally stopped kissing her, he moved his face five inches away from her face and grinned.

"Maybe it's time to take the party inside," he sugested.
'No!' Lime thought, finding herself unable to speak her own defense now. She could hear Hare express his agreement of this idea as Hatter let go of her hand and she closed her eyes as he moved closer in order to scoop her up...but this never came to be. For the sounds of joy was quickly replaced by the sounds of fear and terror and finally pain before Lime felt herself being roughly picked up and then the sensation of running but she knew that her legs weren't moving.

'So, who's carrying me?' Lime thought as she finally slipped away from consiousness and fell into the dream realm, one of the few places that's acty say safe in Wonderland.
