Fit the Third: Hospital Interlude One
To all who wanted another chapter and waited MOST patiently, I am very sorry to update so very late! My computer has suffered severely these past few weeks but is now in a much better condition, and I am able to update my story. I apologize for the rather slim chapter ahead, but there will be more shortly. Please, enjoy!I regret to inform you that I do not own any of the characters mentioned below. Those rights belong to Mr. Lewis Carroll and Mr. American McGee. Fit the Third: Hospital Interlude OneThe Hatter, better known to the residents of Rutledge Asylum as Dr. Heironymous Q. Wilson, waltzed through the hallways of the mentally incapable, to the door of Alice Liddell. He frequented these halls as the learned doctor, and had overseen all of Alice's medical treatments since she had been brought in. No one had questioned the change in the doctor's methods of medicine, nor his change in outwardly appearance. Indeed, no one had noticed any changes in the doctor since Alice's arrival. The real Dr. Wilson lay tucked in the closet of his study, in 4 pieces, respectively, and had remained there for quite some time. The smell of the decaying hospital greatly overpowered his decomposing corpse, and so Hatter had taken no pains to bury or conceal the body further. Who would catch him anyway? Nobody had even bothered to notice the changes in the new-and the Hatter's own mind improved-doctor, and so why would they bother him? As he approached Alice's door the Hatter patted his pocket, checking on the small syringe that lie tucked away safety. Because Alice trusted her 'dear doctor' completely, there was no need to break that bond by revealing his true self to her. Not just yet. Besides, he could bring her to Wonderland much more easily if she wasn't kicking and biting him the entire way. He opened the door and prepared to meet his Alice.
