Retreat into the Darkness...

One year later…

Caleb licked his lips as he straightened away from Asher’s hard and throbbing cock, a smirk on his lips. “Like that, huh?-”

A loud, annoying beeping intruded on the dream and Caleb scowled, rolling from bed and smacking the alarm to shut it off. Again, the damn thing broke under his fingers and he swore, throwing it in the trash with the others before sitting on the edge of the bed and pushing his hair back from his face. “Fucking alarm.” He glared at the garbage can before forcing himself to his feet. He had to get to work… then get back home.

Asher’s precious Human Servant would be there to feed him, but Caleb had to be home in time to feed the bitch.

Why was it he was always the one who seemed to be constantly dry fucked? He and Asher had left St. Louis… gone to NY of all places. Not the city, but some freaking rural area. Asher was ‘tired of the smog’ and it was time for a return to the country.

Yeah. Right. A return to the country and a return to pussy. Caleb growled as he looked at the door in the small house that lead down to the oh-so-luxurious basement that housed Asher and his beloved human servant.

And to think… Anita had been bad. Yeah right. SHE was worse. With her stupid, silly smile, endless cheer and her always there annoying self… as a whole. She kept trying to ‘get to know’ him. Yeah. Right.

Caleb padded into the kitchen, a pair of jeans, worn nearly to the point on indecency slung about his hips, the fly undone. Opening the fridge, he grabbed a carton of orange juice and twisted off the top only to hear the door to Asher’s rooms open and see Her pad barefoot into the kitchen, looking as if she’d been up for hours.

“Caleb! Good morning.” She stood there like some sort of stupid angel, with her hair, chocolate brown, nearly as dark as his, pulled up on the top of her head with a simple clip. She wore a simple white dress, which clung to overabundant curves. Caleb swore that she must have had a boob job or something, but? Whatever.

“’Morning.” He muttered, pulling down a glass from above the sink. Figured. Bitch had to come in as he was gonna get a drink. Now he had to use a glass, which meant more dishes. Whatever.

“Can you pour me one too, please?” Her annoyingly sweet voice traveled across the room.

“Can’t. Have to get to work… shower and all.” Caleb ignored her, and walked down the hall towards the bathroom.

Annoying bitch…

**************

The ‘annoying bitch’ sat down shakily in one of the kitchen chairs. He had to affect her this way, didn’t he? And he didn’t even know it.

Megan leaned forward and put her head in her hands. She hadn’t meant for any of this to happen… hadn’t meant to fall in love with Asher when she’d started off by being attracted to Caleb… and she sure as pie hadn’t meant to become involved with Asher while he was dating Caleb.

These days… Asher didn’t seem to pay much attention to Caleb… something that was increasingly disturbing to Megan. He spent all of his time on her.

In the last six months, her life had changed beyond belief. She’d graduated from college, gotten a job, fallen in love, and been in an accident so severe, that if Asher had not given her the first two of the four marks, she would have died.

It still didn’t make it any better. She’d met Caleb on her lunch break from the day care at a simple restaurant… She’d spotted him across the room and felt an immediate pull to him… and he’d felt nothing. Which he made *very* clear… especially when she’d moved in next-door and Asher had begun to pursue her.

Talk about shock when she’d walked into the kitchen the night after Asher had seduced her to find Caleb there.

She sighed again. “Poo.”
