Gilbert And Anne

"Mmm... yes. I need to go back to the farm, Gilbert's room is right next to yours, just knock on his door and he will introduce the farm to you."

Anne walked slowly up the stairs and put down her bag. She walked over to Gilbert's door and knocked.

"Mr. Blythe, it's Anne Shirley. Your father said that you would give a tour of the farm." she said.

Gilbert opened the door.

His father said there would be a visitor coming but he never thought it would be Anne.

"Of course, Anne." he said.

Gosh Anne is so pretty, he thought.

I just love her hair, people say red is a terrible colour but I think it's wonderful.

Anne acted in a very prim manner towards him.

"Look, Anne. I'm sorry I called you carrots, I think your hair is wonderful, I really do! Please, Anne can we become friends?" said Gilbert to Anne.

"I will become your friend when you stop lying about my hair!

It's a dreadful colour!"

"No, it's wonderful! "

"And you're very smart too, and being smart is better than being pretty."

"Well I think differently, goodbye Mr. Blythe."

Then she stomped back to her room.
