The Request

That was the longest weekend I every had, spending with my family, it was even more weird with Charlie there; seeing how my grandparents have hated him as long as I can remember. Charlie had asked if I wanted to spend Christmas break with him, but I told him I already made plans and wasn't going to cancel because I have had them for a while, even Renee knew about them I told him, I felt like an ass. Charlie looked hurt and I almost caved and told him sure, but fought against it. After he dropped me off at my dorm, he gave me a big hug and told me to call if I needed anything, I said thanks and left.

Alice came to my room later that day and helped me get cought up on things that I missed. She was such a great friend

"I have to get you something good for Christmas" I told her, " I don't know what I would do with out you".

"Oh, that reminds me," she said, "I was wondering what you are doing for the Holidays? Are you going to spend them with Charlie?"

"Are you kidding me,"I half yelled, "you know how I feel about him and that small town he lives in, I would go crazy for sure."

"Hahaha," she laughed, "I know, I figured you would lie and tell him you already had plans, and then just hang out here for the break."

"You know me to well, that is exactly what I did, he was hurt but I am sure he will get over it. Maybe I will go see him on a shorter break or something"

"Well that is what I thought, so I have made plans for you for the Holidays and you can't say no, I already bought your bus ticket".

"Oh, No, Alice what did you do, I think I want to be alone, I don't want to go anywhere, I want to stay here."

"Oh stop being a baby Bella, your coming home with me for the Holidays, I already talk to my mom and dad and they are so happy, they have been wanting to meet you for years, but you always say no. now that you have no exscuse you have to come, plus you wouldn't want me to spend the money for your ticket and it goes to waste would you?"

Oh how I hated her right now. I wanted to be alone for the holidays and sulk, I didn't want to have fun, it seemed wrong. However I knew Alice and she wouldn't stop till she got what she wanted and I sort of liked the idea of not having to stay in the cold dorm alone, I don't know I was so confused so I finally agreed with a grunt.

"Fine, but I wont have fun or like it, got it. "I half snarled.

"Great we leave next week after your last final exam, and you will have fun." She giggled.
