Not So Wonderland Anymore

“Now can you explain to us what is going on?” The Harold asked.

“We are in search for a criminal that has escaped from our territory.” James said to them.

“What is her name?” The Harold asked.

“Her name is Alice Liddell. She had been convicted of Theft and murder.” He said to the Harold.

“City are you from?” The Harold asked.

“We work for the Queen.” James said to them.

“The Queen? Queen of England?” The Harold asked.

“No, the Queen of Hearts.” James said to him.

“Hearts?” He asked.

“Can you please let us pass.” James said to him as he waved his hand in front of the Harold’s face. He face turned blank as did all of the other officers. We walked away and into the park and disappeared behind the trees.

“What has Happened Hatter?” Cheshire asked.

“Alice has the Madd.” James said to him.

“What how did she get the Madd?” Cheshire asked.

“She tricked me.” He said to him.

“She hurt him.” I said to him. I was thoroughly pissed off at this fact. The truth was James has taken care of me since I came to wonderland two years ago. He taught me the ways the Hatters and soon I became one of Wonderlands elite Hatters. We kept order in wonderland anyway we could. Sometimes the things we did mad us go completely mad. Hence the name Mad Hatter.

Well James is one of the only truly Mad Hatter. He is the son of the original Mad Hatter. The Mad Hatter Alice had met when she was seven. Then Alice came back through The Look Glass. But then she came back when she was older and committed a crime which forced her to stay in wonderland. But James took pity on her and convinced the Queen to let her live with him and he would take care of her and watch her. Then he fell in love. With Alice. He thought she loved him too but that was just a plot to get out of this world. Alice was evil. And the reason I was to pissed was because in the last two years I had secretly fallen in love with James. I new Alice didn’t love him, but I didn’t want to hurt him by telling him the truth. But now he was hurt even more and he was hiding it.

“Victoria!” I snapped my head towards James.

“Sorry What?” I asked him.

“Where is you head?” He asked me.

“Under my hat.” I said to him.

“That’s my girl.” He said with a Cheshire like grin.

“K, so what were you saying?” I asked him.

“I was saying we have to find Alice. But I’m assuming that everyone in Wonderland has been drawn to this world as well so we’ll have to find the Queen first…” As the Hatter went on I began to look around. Things were beginning to look familiar. Why was that. I looked at the trees and the birds. I don’t think I’ve ever been to earth before. Have I? Where did I live before wonderland? I tried to think but I couldn’t remember. All I remember was Wonderland.

“Victoria, Are you ok?” He asked me.

“I think.. I don’t know.” I said to him.

“What are you thinking about?” He asked me.

“This place it seems. It seems familiar.” I said to him.

He looked at me oddly.

“I don’t think I’ve been here. But now that I think about it I can only remember the past two years anything beyond that is blank.” I said to him.

“Really?” He asked me.

He knew something, he was hiding something. But what?

“Do you know?” I asked him accusingly.

“Know what my dear?” He asked.

“Know if I’ve been here or not?” I asked him.

“Depends in what you mean by here, cause here can be there, there can be here, Here can be anywhere, so as to what you mean by here I am at a complete loss.” He said to me.

“Hatter! Don’t play games not now.” I said to him. Hatter why am I calling him Hatter. I am the only one allowed to call him James and I usually do.

“What did you say?” he asked me.

“I’m sorry.” I said to him.

“This place is changing you. Quicker than I expected.” He said me.
