Intro: Once Upon a Time

Once upon a time; the world of Lore was born from stories-fairy tales, folk tales, myths, legends, supernatural and horror. It was a world divided into realms connected by bridges and gates; diverse in lands, different races-human and nonhuman, different cultures and religions.

There was True Magic everywhere with equal balance of Fairy Godmothers and Fairy Godfathers; adventures and quests were in abundance, and True Love was a rare but powerful Magic to find. Dragons still roamed Lore; hoarding treasures, commanding armies of monsters, kidnapping princesses for ransoms and sometimes abducting pretty peasant maids for amusement, and fighting heroes from different walks of life.

Lore is a world of stories; where dreams and wishes come true, heroes and heroines find their fortunes, destiny and fate can be changed, and, happy, sad, humorous and scary endings can be made!

Yet from the East came a coven of Warlocks; they came from a place that became known as the Forgotten Lands and they brought chaos to Lore. These Warlocks were Masters of the Darkest Arts; they enslaved lycanthropes, animal folks, giants and vampires as their armies.

The Warlocks even summoned hellhounds and demons to cause more fear, destruction and death. Lore wasn’t expecting such an invasion as the Warlock coven and their armies swept through the lands, and realms of Lore.

Some dragons and their armies allied with the Warlocks, and it seemed that all hope would be lost until one young maiden rose up to defend Lore. Her name was Grace but she was also known as Red Riding Hood for the long flowing hooded red cloak that she always wore.

She was a beauty with long wavy flowing hair the color of spun gold, her eyes were blue like the dawn with gold flecks, creamy alabaster white skin and lips pink as tourmaline. Grace was a warrior and huntress; skilled with sword, dagger and axe, and volatile shot with a bow.

Grace moved through the battlefield like a crimson sprite; she used her bow like a staff and her arrows never missed a target for a kill or injury. She also found a way to free the slaves from the Warlocks' control and those freed joined the armies of Lore.

The people of Lore soon pushed the Warlock coven, their allies and their armies back; it was Grace who found a way to defeat the Warlocks. Those who had been enslaved were now free and returned to the Forgotten Lands, the dragons who allied with the Warlocks were exiled to the Lands along with their armies.

Kingdoms began to be rebuild as Lore began to heal; Red Riding Hood was declared a heroine, she was given a noble status and wed to the son of Snow White. Grace and her husband, Prince Alexander, soon became King and Queen, and together they ruled their kingdom as equals.

Queen Grace bore seven daughters, each was a beauty and the Queen made her daughters red hooded cloaks. But none of the princesses showed interest in being warriors like their Mother and they wore their red hooded cloaks proudly.

Soon one of the princesses was chosen to be the next Queen when the Magic Mirror of Snow White declared the seventh daughter the fairest in the land. Marriages were made and peace returned to Lore as Queen Grace's story was added to the history.
