They are properly own by William Golding (god rest his weary soul) Angela Angel is a character that I've borrowed from AJ Angelique from her Thundercats fanfics. The creature is of my own creation so don't come to me talking about lawsuits unless you want to thrwn into a pool full of mud because all your getting from me is raspberries :*With that said and done! Let the show begin!!!San...3Ni....2Ichi..1*static*__________2) OrginaztionIt had been another hot tropical summer day on the island and Angela was cat napping in one of Castle rock's many secret caves which she had made her day time sanctuary. She had made herselfa wonderful hamock out of vines and lines with large leaves so as to prevent imprinting from the vines and to improve comfort with what cloths she has. Over time her wardrobe has dwindled to to a single flowing green skirt, a white halter a b a blue tank top, a pair of blue jeans, a pair of navy blue shorts and various peices of scrap fabric to use as whatever. At the current moment she was wearing the halter top and short so as to stay cool in the allready cool cave. For a year now, Angela has lived on the island as the longest suriving castaway ever only due to the fact that she's one, an chossen imortal and two, the creature fancys her. While she can create a barrier to keep it away from her, it drains her of a lot of her energy so she only casts it when there are other castaways. This usally keeps them alive long enough to be rescued...other times it isn't. Those times when she's alone, she used simply wards to keep the creature away from her temporary home and what little belonings she had rescued from the crash. She had been able to save her crystal disks and they vanished back to the mansion on her first night on the island, the first indication that something wasn't right on the island. She also saved a single suitcase of cloths and two large journals in which she used to keep track of what day it was and would right in by the light of a small fire at night. You see, it didn't tkae her long to find out that the creature didn't like the sunlight and only came out at night. So she began to sleep during the day and stayed awake all night so as the creature would never get the drop on her.On this particular day though she was roused form her sleep by what sounded like a plane whistling as it nose dived through the air. She opened her eyes and raised her head a bit to listen to the noise and waited for a crash that never appeared to have happened. She shrugged her shoulders at this and began to dose back off to sleep only to be awaken by the sound of a conch shell being blown.Angela sat upright in her hamock bed and cursed under her breath as she nearly fell trying to get out of the hamock and ran out of Castle rock. Continuing to run, she honed in on the sound of the continuly being blown conch shell and soon found hef atf at the beach. The moment she reached the edge the beach, everyone looked up at her in surprise as she scanned the area to take in a sight she had not expected to see.Gathered on the beach were many boys of various ages and stages of being dressed, one group though wore black robes bearing a silver cross and Angela noticed that one of them was lying on the ground from heat exhaustion. Angela frowned at this before looking back up at the others."What was that you were saying about there not being grown ups?" Jack asked with a smuge grin and Ralph just threw him a look as Angela blinked in surprise."You're the only survivers?" she asked and the boys looked at her in surprise."You weren't on the plane?" Piggy asked and Angela shook her head."No, I've been here long before you all arrived. The name's Angela," she said as she walked out on to the beach and into the middle of the group of boys. All eyes "So, does that make you in charge then?" Jack asked, an hint of hope in his voice as Ralph looked up in surprise at this question."That depends, did you all elect a leader?" Angela asked."Yeah, Ralph," Piggy said with pride as he gestured to the boy holding the conch shell who flushed a bit."Then he's in charge," Angela said and Jack scowled as she turned back to him, "I suggest you all et out of those robes unless you want to end up like your friend over there," Angela said as she gestured to the choir boy lying down nearby, "black isn't the best color to wear in this heat, it only serves to build more of it." The choir looked to Jack who grudenly nodded and before long all the black robes were heaped in a pile on the ground as Angela turned her attention to the one who was lying down."We need to cool him off a bit. Ink ank a dip in the pool will help," Angela said, promtly scooped him up and took him over to the small pool where she wadded around while still cradling him. The others merely looked on as he slowly came back to this and there was a collective sigh of relief."I think you'll be allright now. I'd get some juice into your system though, just to be on the safe side," she said as she scruffed up his hair a bit and he smiled back before being led off to find some fruit."You a nurse or something?" Jack asked."Or something. I've been on this island for a while now and can help you all to survive on it till help arrives," Angela said and many of the boys perked up a bit at hearing this.As Angela and Ralph sat down to make plas for their stay on the island, Jack and his choir group went off to scout things out and see if they could find any other survivors. Before they left though, Angela gave them strict instructions to stay 'out of the mountian" because others had gone in and never returned. While Ralph talked with Angela about a signal fire on the mountain, she began to feel a bit uneasy and glanced towards the mountian."Something wrong?" he asked."Huh? Uh. Yo. You were saying?" Angela asked as her attention was drawn back to the important details of survival.* * * *Meanwhile, Jack and his boys were up on the mountain having some fun by heaving a boulder off its side and watching it roll down to the landscape below. Deep inside the inner shaodws of the mountain, the creature was stirred from his sleep and he let out a low growl that echoed through out the moutain's passages and was projected outside where the boys heard it and froze upon hearing it."What was that?" one biy by Piggy asked."I don't know...maybe a large animal or something?" Roger said with a feral grin."Or the reason why Angela warned us. Let's move on," Jack said and all but Roger agreed with him. The boys continued their way up the mountain as the creature followed them with its eyes."Hmmm. Nice, plump, young boys...there are more on the beach...and they've made contact with her," it thought aloud, saying the last part with another low growl, "Even so, this is a pleasent surprise and I can still have fun with this lot...so I'll atempt to take my time with them," it said with a grin as he lay his head back down to go back to sleep so as to be ready for tonight...TBCNext)Day and Night
