Under The Grave

Bones was still fast asleep when I heard Mencheres and my mother leave. I eased away from Bones and made sure he was still asleep before I walked to the bedroom door. I took a deep breath even though as a vampire I really don't need to breathe. I opened the door and walked into the hallway just as Vlad reached the top of the stairs. I shook my head and then shut the door behind me.

I put my hand on Vlads shoulder and nodded towards the stairs. I started walking with him close behind me. I needed to talk to him but I couldn't do it around Bones. Bones would have a shit fit if he knew what was going to happen. No. I couldn't tell him. It had to be just Vlad and I. And then I would have to hurry and take a shower before Bones woke up. So much to do and so very little moonlight to do it in.

We were finally outside. I could run pretty fast but Vlad was older and more powerful. He could get us further than I could in a smaller amount of time. I stepped to him and wrapped my arms around his neck while resting my head against his chest.

"You're faster so you would have to do this. Hurry. We don't have much time before he wakes back up."

Vlad didn't say anything. He just wrapped his arms around me and pressed his forehead to the top of my head. One minute we were standing in my front yard and the next we were zipping through the sky so fast I had to close my eyes from the wind beating them. It felt good to fly but I was in no mood to enjoy it. I just held onto Vlad and wished we could finish before bones woke up and discovered I was gone.

I felt us start to descend and slow down. I opened my eyes to see that we were landing on the cliff about five miles from my house. From this high up I could see the window where Bones slept and guilt washed over me. I felt like a cheap whore. I was about to cheat on Bones while were only five miles when I went four years never even looking at another man while we were states apart. I was going to be in serious need of a priest. For I am about to sin.

We landed silently and Vlad released me instantly. He moved to stand about six feet from with his back to me.

"This is wrong Cat." Vlad broke the silence. "I may not be fond of Bones but he a powerful vampire and I do respect him."

"You think I don't know this is wrong."

"You misunderstood." Vlad turned back to me. "I told you before you were going to make envy Bones. Thats something I hve never wanted to do. Never thought I would do." He started pacing around the clearing. "Oh I have sen the omen he would hve in his bed. I have walked in on him and four or five women but never have I envied him."

Vlad was now standing in front of me. So close I could feel breathe and we would touch.

"But I envy him you and I have since that Christmas day at the movies. Our first date. The night you let me sleep with you while nothing protected me from you except a sheet. I could feel the heat from your body just as I could smell your nakedness under that sheet. Many times though tht night I considered trying. I never did because I know you love Bones. Thats why this is wrong. Not because of Bones but because you love him. You will regret this. You will hate me or yourself for this."

"I won't hate you Vlad. I couldn't."

"Then you would hate yourself and that is enough to make me want to take my own life. Save you the self hatred. But taking my life would hurt you. I know it. I see it everytime you look at me your heart grows more and more fond of me." He sat down in the grass. "So you see, I am stuck between a rock and a hard place with a vampire ontop of me."

I didn't know what to say. The man had practically confessed he loved me. What does a girl say to that? Better yet, what does the wife of Bones say to that?

I moved to straddle Vlad as I had done to Bones earlier. We had to hurry and get this over with or else we would get caught and Bones would have the mind to kill us both. Closing my eyes, and picturing the look in Bones eyes when I took him into my mouth, I leaned down and pressed my lips to Vlads. His hands started stroking the outside of my leg from my knees up and around my ass and then back down.

I tore my psychic sheilds away and let Josephine have control of my body with one command. "Do not hurt him and do not kill him. Take some of his power and leave us be."

I heard her laugh come frommy throat and this time it did not scare me. I didn't fight her. I let her take me under and gave into her urges. I rubbed nose with Vlad in an almost tender way. I seen her memory of them doing this one night in his bed. Seen his hands moving along her body as they were currently doing to mine. Maybe this wasn't cheating if niether of us was thinking of eachother.

Gently Vlad removed our clothing but left my panties on. I don't think he was willing to go all the way with me. Thats fine. I was willing to do it either. I spared a second to apologize to Bones before I started grinding myself against Vlad. His body was hard and errect and I wanted more.

I leaned down and kissed his neck before sinking fngs into him. His back arched and he called out Josephines name. It idn't bother me that he was calling out someone elses name. This was not personal between us. With each pull of his blood that my mouth made I felt he release coming near.

"Wait." He pushed me back from him. "Not on her clothing Josephine."

I felt my head nod as I started stepping out of my panties. At least he had the thought not to come on my panties. That would have been really hard to explain to Bones.

Vlad nodded before speaking again. "Lets finish this."

I had kept some of my shield up to protect her from seeing my plan that Bones nor Vlad knew. Her lust for Vlads power was going to be the death of her just as much as her lust for him at all. But for my plan towork I had to give myself over to the task at hand.

Vlad rolled me over onto my back before taking my nipple into his mouth. He suckled softly at first and when a soft moan escaped my lips he bit into my nipple. My hands grabbed his arms as my back arched, pushing my breast into his bite. I worked my legs out from under him so that I could wrap them around his waist. I slid my hands up his arms in a slow caress. Taking in every scar that criss crossed them and his shoulders. My hands ran through his gently. "Hurry Vlad. I am loosing control of her." I called out to him.

He wasted no time bringing his neck to my face where I sank my fangs into him once again. This time his body shuddered and he screamed out his release into the night sky. I felt his power washing into me with his blood. I twisted it like a knife and slung out to Josephine. Only too late did she my plan. She tried to pull back but I wouldn't let her. It was a two way street. she had to open herself to recieve Vlads power. I siphoned her power from her and sent it back into Vlad along with his own power. I heard her scream one last time as her body started to shrivel. She was as dead as a vampire can be.

Vlad sat back from me with a grin. He was just as power drunk as I was.

"She wasn't working on her own. Theres still someone else out there." He finally said.

"I know. He is next." I stood and walked to the creek close by. I bent down and started washing myself in hopes of getting Vlads scent off of my most private areas.

I got dressed and waited for Vlad to regain himself through his drunkeness.

"Ready Cat?"

"Bravo." A man stepped out of the woods clapping. His long blonde hair blowing in the breeze. "I didn't think you guys would actually betray bones and kill her with her own lust but I see you have done so." He looked around with a smirk. "I will be sure to let Bones know about the two of you before I kill him. Of course I will leave out the fact Josephine was using her body and you never once pulled your pants off."

"Who are you?" Vlad asked.

"I am Josephines sire and I demand retributation for her death." The man said. and then he looked to me. "Don't worry. Bones is already awake. And knows the two of you are missing."

I couldn't help it. I turned back towards the house and screamed for Bones. His name was echoed back to me but there was no other sound.

"He is gone. He won't come looking for you because you left him again and he is ready to get even." The man laughed once more. "To bad he will never know you still refused to cheat on him. Good bye Reaper."

"No!" Mencheres came out of the woods. "I seen the whole thing. Cat came out for a walk. You attacked her and she called out for Bones. Bones didn't hear her but Tepesh did so he came to help." Mencheres looked to me and nodded. "I heard the scuffle between the three of you and came to defend my friends wife and Tepesh. You loose."

I attacked the blonde man before Mencheres was even done talking. I had no weapons on me so I was pretty much getting my ass kicked. I slammed his head into the nearest tree and jumped away before the tree came down on both of us. I heard him huff as the tree landed full force ontop of him. A second later it was thrown across the clearng and the mn was running to me. I looked to Mencheres for help. This vamp was a mega master and I was un armed.

The man had me by the throat and I was kicking and doing everything I could to keep those fangs away from me. I saw the flash of silver before I felt it peirce my chest. One twist and it would be in my heart. I would die for my actions tonight.

"Mencheres, tell Bones I love him." was all I said before closing my eyes.

I hit the ground and felt the wound in my chest start to heal. When I opened my eyes Mencheres was killing the blonde man and Vlad was holding the knife over my chest. Apparently Mencheres decided to help me.

"Take her to Bones, Tepesh." Mencheres said as the vampire took off full speed ahead. "I saw what the two of you did but my story remainds the same. The man lied when he said Bones was awake. Though he may be awake now."

"Thank you Mencheres."

Vlad picked me up and we were soon air borne.

When we landed in the yard I saw Bones running out the house and felt the raw power seeping from him.

"Not Vlads fault. I just wanted to get some air." Was all I got out before the darkness sucked me under. Thats why Mencheres wanted me to fight the blonde. He knew it would about kill me nd that was going to be the only way Bones would believe our story. At least for now. I was going to tell him. I think.
