33-Fight of Faith

PETER PAN AND ME 33: FIGHT OF FAITH

The ledge Peter and I were on was starting to crumble, not that it was
that big anyway. Worm like things were coming out of the walls, spikes
were starting to come out on the other sides of the pit but luckily not
on our side. Something huge and monstrous was trying to claw its way out
of the fire hole beneath us and it was still expanding to encompass the
entire room and the ceiling was moving upward! Peter turned to face the
wall and he let me go so I turned too and grabbed onto his hips and put
my hands and arms around him to interlock my fingers in his belly. "C'mon
Peter! He's left to go kill the Lost Boys! Our boys! And we're unable to
fly! We're gonna die in here and Seth's gonna kill them and probably take
them to hell! Do something! Come on, Peter, do something! Do something!"

But he was. With his back turned to me, he was fiddling with something.
He began tying something. "Tell what is Seth doing?"

"You wanna talk? Now?" I looked down. I looked up. No where was there a
safe look. "Now we die!"

"Again?" Peter said, trying to sound bored.

The monster trying to claw its way up out of the pit roared. I clung to
Peter's sweaty arms and then put my hands on his sides.

"I think he wants something from one of us...me...that's why he killed
you. I think he thought with you dead, he would get something from me."

"But what?" Peter had taken the vines off his right shoulder. This held
his swords in place. When he removed the other shoulder, the thicker
leaves side, parts of his outfit fell away. This left his whole side bare
from shoulder and arm pit down to his feet.

"I know what you're doing. You're keeping me talking so I won't be
afraid?"

Dirt fell on my head.

"Oh you give me much credit, my love. I LOVE it when you're afraid! It
makes you cling to me tighter and all the more faster!" I didn't know
it until we got outside and I could see his hot belly but a spike was
slowly moving out of the wall into his navel. It was making him hard.
It's making me hard as I write this.

"Thanks!" I yelled over the blasts from below. And the cracking,
creaking roof as it slid up, dropping some gravel on us. Then it started
to move down. At our heads. With spikes.

His upper body was bare totally to as far down the front as possible. His
leaves, no longer held on by the vines, were falling all over the place,
falling, falling into the fire below. A few burned but some did not. He
might as well have been wearing nothing. Again. Not that I minded.

The Lost Boys looked up. Something was winging its way toward them out of
the smokey darkness that filled the daylight, daylight almost forgotten
now that the fires started again. This time they listened. They did not
go back into the underground house. "Is that...." Rollin squinted as he
looked up, "Is that..." He furrowed his brow, "Peter?"

"If it is....run!" Sole said loudly.

"It's not Peter!" Je'ne said.

"No!" Landen said, "It's not! It's something far worse!"

And he was right. It swooped out of the dark clouds and its wingspan was
25 feet at least. Or maybe 15. The lost boys all moved together in a big
group. Seth landed, more demon now than human. He had fangs on his teeth,
horns on his head, a forked tongue spitting out, and hooves for feet, a
tail with a deadly point on it or so it looked, and skin that seemed to
be turning crimson. He had long fingernails and his eyes were almost
completely red. He still had his brown hair and his furry navel trail of
hair from it to his lower regions but he was a half human, half demon
total monster. He smiled, "Recognize me, don't you?"

"Seth!" They all said, except Jennie who was in front and who could not
talk at all. Even Bo had said the name.

"Stay back!" Aoi yelled, "Come no closer!"

"Ha!" Seth took many steps at them, "You have no weapons and even if you
did, against me, you'd be dead!" His hooves turned back to feet and his
skin took on a more human form. His wings began to fold as he moved at
them.

"What do you want?" Bailey asked.

"Nothing much....just to kill you! All of you!" Seth lunged at them.
They screamed.

Almost as one, they fell back into a hole that they usually fell out of.
But it wasn't big enough for all of them so they fell into the hole,
backing into it one at a time. They slid down it yelling.

"I can get us out of here!" Peter turned and I could see that he had
tied his vine ending around Excaliber. He looked at the exit far on the
other side and away from us and over us. He turned back to the wall and
thrust Excaliber into the it, the sparks flying off it showing great
power. I winced and fell back but Peter's now free hand reached back,
caught me by the waist line and his hand also hit my dick at the same
time. He turned and as he did, the way I clung to him, my body was turned
to the wall, back to it, a spike scratching my back. Peter took his
knife, bit his lip and threw it upward at the exit. The knife flew across
the flaming pit of hell and stuck in the other side of the cave near
that exit, but the way it was above us, the vines, for there were two of
them together which was how Peter tied it, were on a 45 degree angle.

"Hang on tight!"

"I see!" I put my face into the back of his muscled shoulder, "But how
can you get us across it?"

Peter turned back to the wall, "Like this!" When he turned, I was
thrust with my back to the hole above and across us. "You first!"

"OH NO! I can't look!"

Peter put both feet against the wall and bent to give him more momentum.
He kicked off the wall, me holding onto his back. The ledge crumbled
under us, gone! The whole wall started to crumble from the top. Peter
laughed as he slid backward along the intertwined vine. Fire reached up
at us, explosions burst from below, a monster's giant claw reached up at
us. I was screaming I'm sure. Peter was laughing for sure, all the way
across. Spikes thrust from all sides, boulders fell from above. My back
was at the hole and my whole body was thrust out of it but instead of
falling outside, my body flew. I flew, feet first, hovering at the exit.
Hairy worms or thick caterpillars with demon faces were coming out of the
wall near the exit and trying to reach Peter on the vine as he held.

All of the cave shook from side to side and vibrated up and down.

Peter was still inside and he was about to slide back down! I reached in
and grabbed his hand! He was still in that hellhole! "No! Go! Let me go!
We can't both get out! If I pull, you will fall into the hole again!"

He's so melodramatic. Our hands locked. "NO! I can pull you out!"

EXPLOSIONS GALORE!

"But you're not as strong as me!"

The fucker. I wanted so much to say, "But you don't weigh very much, in
fact, you little snot, you weight nothing at all! So it would be like
pulling air!" But I didn't of course but I pulled. Of course. Outside,
Peter was aloft and shouting at me to fly away. The surrounding sand pile
was falling around us.

"But what about Excaliber?!!!"

"Leave it! GO! FLY!" I needed no further urging. Peter flew behind me
and looked back as the pit folded in on itself and the sand walls covered
it up. Flying became a bit impossible and we both fell to the ground on
the beach. The cave entrance, the pit and all were gone. Tired, I
collapsed on the sand, next to Peter, who was huffing as well, his little
but nice chest going up and down, neatly.

"Pity about Excaliber, we need it, we need it to stop..."

He had that cocky smile on. Then it turned to his magical smile, where
something even impressed him. Peter smiled, "Watch." He carefully
moved me away a bit, dragging me from behind as he stood up. Me
surprised. From the sandpile of slush that was once Seth's lair, the
great sword popped out and spread the sand pile. Peter jumped up and
caught it as it popped into mid air! I screamed a whoop of joy.

I flew to him, "Peter you..."

"Yes?" He said delighted with Excaliber even more than himself. "Pity
about my knife though. I had it a long time. Ah well."

"You were willing to risk everything for me again."

Flying down to me, Peter looked at me and with his free hand touched my
right cheek, "There are plenty of knives to be had but only one
Chase...one Chase is worth 20 girls..."

"Peter you say the most ...beautiful things to me," I said. Then I
stood up, "The boys! The boys! Seth!"

"Do not worry!" Peter flew off. I had to work to keep up. We flew into
a giant red wall. We fell to the beach dunes. "What? Who dare?"

"I do!" A giant, well, how to I describe this....a giant devil was there.

"WHO ARE YOU?" I asked in panic. Standing back up.

"SETH'S FATHER!"

"Oh. Oh. No."

Peter stood up too, a bit embarrassed that I stood up first. "Get outta
our way!" He waved Excaliber and the devil moved back a bit. And when
Peter flew at his giant leg, he vanished. "That was easy!" Peter looked
proud.

"Too easy, Peter, be careful!"

"Nonsense! I the great Peter Pan will...."

Something whispered in Peter's ear. It was that giant devil. He was still
here but in another form. While there, the devil whispered to Peter,
"The reason there are so many stories about yourself and that you don't
believe most of them is that you don't really exist."

Peter's smile dropped. He looked different. The glow vanished from him. I
thought maybe his shoulders drooped alittle.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing." He snapped. "Let's go."

"I mean you are real. But you don't believe any of them. No one really
knows about your past."

Peter's feet hit the ground as he landed.

I was in the air, "Peter?" I landed in front of him, "What're you doing?
The Lost Boys need us! Seth's gonna kill them!"

"I know. Let him. I can't help them. I'm not even..."

"What? NO!"

"No one knows what you are. You are just trying to convince yourself of
what you are and you fail at that every time."

"Okay, let's go get him," Peter said but he sounded despondent, looked
melancholy and had no spring in his voice. He tried to fly and made it up
a bit but...

"It's the reason for your cockiness. A cover. You really hate yourself,
don't you? And if you don't, shouldn't you?"

Peter went headfirst downward and put his hands out to stop himself. He
laid on his belly for a bit. "I won't give up, I won't! I won't!"

"Peter! What's wrong? Is something happening to you?"

"No. Yes. I don't know!" He was confused.

"Come on, get up!"

In the underground house, Landen, by far not the bravest of the boys,
stood forth. "Hey Seth, I know you don't really want to hurt us."

Seth was so puzzled by this that he stopped and stepped back, his
eyebrows up in a quizzical look. "What do you mean, little stripling?"

"I mean you, look at you. So obviously a demon from fairy tales."

"I...you shall die first!"

"Oh I love that!" Landen smiled, "You...." He was scared and his voice
shook but he was trying to act like Peter and in a way he was. Being
brave. "You...uhm, say the most cliche things...I love it. It's like when
Chase tells us his stories and others stories...the big ugly dragons..."

"Oh yeah! I believe those are true!" Rollin enthused.

"They are! I read...oh I believe in Winnie the Pooh!" Je'ne yelped.

Seth tried to come forward, "Stop that!"

"I believe...." Bo talking! He took the hand of Jennie next to him and
Jennie smiled. He took the hand of Rico, who was next to him, "....in
Snow White!"

Seth moaned in pain. "OHHHHHHH! STOP!"

"I believe in Cinderella!" Rico.

Outside in the woods, Peter flew but only a few inches off the ground. He
laid out horizontally. Tears were dripping into the sand and leaves below
his face. I was next to him, "What is it? Tell me?"

"I'm a fraud. A fake. I can't fight Seth or the devil or
anybody....I'm...I'm not even a real person, Chase."

"Neither am I then but could anyone but real people do this?" I kissed
him. He looked at me after the long, tongue kiss.

"I don't know."

This time a kiss might not be enough. "Can a fake person do this?" I
reached down his leaves, the one or two still on his penis and I pulled
his penis and jerked it hard.
Peter's eyes went wide. He yelped. But even this feeling, giving him
growth in his member, his navel dripping some blood, was not enough.

In the underground home, Rollin said, "Oh yeah I believe in Saint George
and the Dragon!"

"I will tear you limb from limb and eat you all bit by bit!" Seth moved
at them but bounced off, just like he was hitting a force field!

All the boys were holding hands now. Jennie's mind spoke, "I believe in
Rumpelstiltskin!"

"I said stop!" Seth threw himself at the force field but the boys stayed
firm, only Landen winced, since he was out in front of them. It held him
back and he fell!

"I believe in ...." Barry stumbled, "I believe in..." He sweated and
looked frightened as Seth stood up.

Seth was up and smiling now, "Yes, what do you believe in?"

"The one hundred acre woods, Sherwood Forest, and the plains of Oz!"

"Ahhhhhhh!" Seth crumbled again and sunk.

Outside Peter sunk and gave into grief. He sat Indian style. "I'm Hook's
son!"

"No, Peter, you are not! Look, I have to...I can't leave you like this
but the boys!"

"I'm Seth! I mean I'm..."

"Peter you are not Seth!"

"I mean Seth is not the son of the devil! I am!" Peter looked up with
tears in his eyes. "I am!"

"No! He's lying to you! Not all of the books are real! Not all are really
about the real Peter Pan! Some are fake, completely! Some are..." I
gripped his shoulders and he wouldn't look me in the eyes. "Some are
about Peters from other universes! He's lying to you! Peter, look, I have
to go! I have to go! Seth will kill them if he hasn't already!" I stood
up and started to walk away but I couldn't turn my back on him,
literally. I gulped. I saw him bend down, head in lap. "I have to go!" I
was screaming at him, "He'll kill them! Is that what you want????"

"Yes!"

"What?"

"I'm Satan! I'm him! I'm the devil!"

"No, Peter!" I backed away, "No, you're not! You're not!" I backed away
some more.

Aoi. "I believe in Peter Rabbit!"

Peter looked up. He heard this.

Aoi snorted, "And just for good measure I believe in Swiss Family
Robinson, too!"

Kneeling, Peter picked his upper body upward and looked up again and
again and kept his head up, fighting to keep it that way since it felt so
heavy with depression and sadness. But even though he was sad and down,
he smiled.

"I believe in Sleeping Beauty!" Bailey burst forth.

Peter nodded and whispered, "So do I. Met her once."

"I believe in Mickey Mouse!" Sole, "Yeah, Mickey Mouse, I met him
once!"

"Ohhh he's a terrific eater!" Peter snorted and wiped away his tears
with his elbow.

The boys all turned to him to chat about it. "You did?"

"Oh yeah and all that, he was so much fun." Sole went on and on about
it.

"That's terrific!" Aoi said.

"Yeah!" Barry added.

"STOP! YOU ARE KILLING ME!" Seth yelled. Their energy and enthusiasm was
expanding.

Landen looked back at Sole, "Oh I know, I believe..." He turned to
thrust his face into Seth's direction, which was down, "I believe in that
story about....the carpenter!"

Peter sprung from the ground and stood up, waving his arms to his side!

"What? What carpenter?" Seth asked as though he knew the answer already
and it scared him badly.

Landen looked back at the boys, "You guys, you know the one? His name
is..."

Joining him and coming forward, Sole said, "Oh yeah, that's
right....that's a good one, that is!"

Bailey looked at them, excited, "That's a true one, that's what that is.
That's a real true story. Oh I believe in that.."

They all agreed. Chatting. Seth yelled and as he backed away from them,
they advanced but slowly as if they were not sure. "Oh, what the heck,"
Landen said mustering up his bravery to get closer in proximity to Seth
and with that he moved forward, "I know! His name is Jesus!"

Peter took off from the ground and smiled and his tears were tears of joy
now. I was watching from my spot where I was unable to move due to
indecision. Leave Peter or let the boys die? But even in that indecision,
I decided to talk to the air, "You are....you are...you are... the summer
breeze in our hair, the lite winter snow at Christmas morn, the chill on
a spine when seeing pure nature and when you just know there was and is
a creator! You are PETER PAN!!!!!"

Peter gave a whoop of joy and a joyful scream came from his lips...

...as Seth screamed in total defeat and terror and turned tail (again,
literally) and flew up to one of the holes. As he flew up, the boys
yelled as one, "And we believe in Peter Pan! Alive and well!"

I flew to Peter. I couldn't leave him there in grief. But now I could see
that whatever spiritual battle went on, Peter was himself again.
"Peter, we've doomed the boys!" My face showed my concern and worry.

"Nonsense! I'm the summer breeze in your hair," Peter ran his fingers
on both hands through my hair, which was rather longer than I remembered,
"....comforting you; I am the lite winter snow," he moved to my front
and pushed his front into mine, ".... covering the dead grass on
Christmas Morning, the chill...." He whisked around me to my back once
more. He put his hand on my spine, "on your spine..." And rubs it up
and down. I smiled and looked at him as he moved from one side to the
other just like the little pixie minks he was, "...when you see pure
nature and just know, just believe that there is a creator! That
mountains were made by that same creator! I AM PETER PAN!"

I had those chills since he started talking after " Nonsense!" And my
worried face, my crunched lips forming into a full fledged smile as the
chills grew from a small spot in my heart and filled my entire being!

"You're back!" I yelled.

"The boys are safe!" Peter flew and I followed.

"You're really back this time?"

"Fully! Armed and ready to rock!" Peter turned to me, "Now let's go kick
some demon ..."

"Peter!!!!"

"Tail!!!!!"

"Oh kay..." I smiled. We flew.

As we flew, fires raged. The trees took to flame. Explosions rocked the
volcano. I looked at the sky, "Oh no, God, not again!"

Neverland seemed to be burning again and the fires were worse than ever!
