Anita swore as she tripped. It had been a while since she'd been to the lupanar, but she remember to get to the oubliette. She was still Bolverk, if only in name. She still knew what happened inside the pack. She'd heard about Shayne and what he'd done, but she wanted revenge on all of them.
Shayne groaned as he lay in the bottom of the oubliette. He'd been there weeks, kept alive only by the rations they'd thrown down to him, most of it unfit to eat. He was thin... too thin... and They would pay. He stilled as he heard a noise. No one should be here- rations had been given the day before.
Driven by rage, Anita opened the oubliette to free Shayne. She headed inside. "Now listen here, we hate the same people. I'm here to free you. All I ask if that you hurt them as much as possible." She undid the silver chains and gave him some food.
An evil smirk crossed his face. "Ms. Blake, I presume..." Stuffing the Big Mac into his mouth, he hurriedly swallowed. "Why I do believe we have a deal."
"Good. Now let's get the hell out of here." She said, the stench getting to her.
Shayne nodded, then took her hand. "Hold on. I'll carry the both of us."
"I can walk." Anita said getting the hell out of that damn place.
Watching the Executioner climb the ladder, Shayne bit back a growl. Someone didn't know her place...
Anita brushed her pants off. She scowled as she waited for Shayne to get his damn ass up the ladder.
He stood tall at the top as he finished climbing out, looking around. "So tell me... what have they done to deserve your anger?"
"They all betrayed in. Each in a different way. They deserve to suffer for it."
"Such as?" Shayne stretched his atrophied limbs carefully.
"I don't want to discuss it." Anita looked away. The man disgusted her, but she would use him to do her dirty work.
He smiled, licking his lips. "You fear me."
"Hardly." She snorted. She had her gun loaded with silver bullets, one in the chamber just in case.
Shayne frowned, disliking this woman.
"Will you hurry up? I don't want to be caught here."
“Fine. Where are we going?"
"A motel." Anita headed to her car.
"Where?"
"It's a bit of a drive."
Shayne nodded. "Fine." He smiled at the animator, nearly pleasantly. Perhaps he'd just kill her too.
Anita returned the smile and turned her back to him, rolling her eyes.
Revenge... Shayne had dreamed of it since the moment of his capture, had tasted it, and now he knew who. "So... Ms. Blake... are you familiar with a gris-gris?"
"Of course I am. I'm a necromancer. Why?"
"I'll need one, with a duel blessing. Jean-Claude controls the wolf, but a wolf endowed with holy powers... that he will not be able to."
"I'll ask around and find you something." She unlocked the car for them.
"Good."
She got into the drivers seat.
"Now... Ms. Blake... what is our plan...?"
