Lime had noticed that the wind tried to steer her off the path a couple times but she decided to ignore it rather than speaking up to Chesire about it...later on she wish she would have.Time passed and before long Lime's stomach began to growl at her as she noticed that the sun was getting closer to the horizon."Getting hungry?" Chesire asked, glancing to his left to look down at her."Yeah," Lime said with a nod. The two continued to walk as he checked his own stomach before glancing to his right at the sun."It is getting late. We better look out for some food," he commented and he didn't notice the slight frown on her face. Seeing as how he's a cat...and a wild one at that...food could mean just about anything. On top of that, he looks like the type that would eat it right after the kill. Yet it looked as if her answers were answered when a small cottage with a rabbit theme about it loomed ahead of them to her left. She stared at the cottage with a hopeful look on her face as they got closer and closer to the cottage. Yet this hope quickly changed to fright as they neared the closest edge of the white rabbit eared picket fences when a giant white rabbit about half a foot shorter than Chesire Cat."Mary Ann!" the giant white rabbit shouted and Lime let out a small shriek as she took a step to the right only to bump into Ceshire Cat. Lime watched in astonishment as the giant rabbit made his way over to the fence. While he stood a half shorter than the Chesire Cat, his errect ears gave the illusion of height as they stood at least four feet above the cat's head. He was indeed all white while wearing a black waist vest, a silver chain clipped to the breast pocket and hung over the side. Undoubtingly, it was attached to the ever famouse golden watch he checks to see if he's on time or not. Though he has a rabbit's face, his eyes are those of a human and are a deep shade of watercolor blue. This and his hands are the only human features about his as the rest of his body is that of a rabbit."Oh Mary Ann, I'm glad you're..." the rabbit started to say but was soon interupted by Lime."What did you just call me?" she asked."Mary Ann.""No. My name is not Mary Ann it's...""Alice?" White asked curiously."No!" Lime nearly screamed and Chesire snickered under his breath."My name is Lime! Lime! L-I-M-E!""Okkkk, won't you two come in for dinner then?" White asked."You're inviting a couple of strangers to dinner?" Chesire asked."Ofrse.rse...providing that one of you can cook," White said, adding the last part quickly."I knew there was a catch," Chesire said quietly to Lime who threw him back a glare."I know how to cook," she said happily."Great! Come in, come in before you get cold," White said as he hurried to the open the gate for his two guests. Chesire cautiously entered first and Lime followed him as she quietly rolled her eyes at this. Once inside, White showed Chesire to the sitting room to relax before he showed Lime to the kitchen. Once he pointed out where everything was and what she had to work with, Lime grabbed the nearest apron and put it on...without knowing that White was watching her as she did so."Could you see how Chesire likes his meat?" Lime asked as she fished a hair tie out of her pocket and began to pull back her hair."Huh?" White asked, as if he was snapped out of a trance."My friend. How does he take his meat?" Lime asked."I'll go seWhitWhite said hastily and left for the sitting room. Lime frowned at this and pulled out a cook book and flipped through it before she found a recipie for stew."Raw," said a voice all of a sudden. Lime gasped and looked to see that White was only a foot away to her right now. Somehow, he had made it to the sitting room nad back very quickly...and very quietly."Raw?" Lime asked and he nodded."Or as close to it I suggest," White said."I'll do my best," Lime said with a smile and set to work on dinner as she gathered the ingredients for stew, meat biscbiscuts. Lime noted, from the corner of her eye, that White didn't return to the sitting room. Instead, he stayed in the kitchen and stood near the cabinets as he watched Lime move around the kitchen. Lime began to feel uncomfortable about this and silently prayed for him to leave...and then her prayers were answered from a crash in another room."What the hell?" White cursed aloud and stormed off to see what was the comotion. Breathing a sigh of releif, Lime quickly ced aed a ward that would prevent the guys from entering the kitchen and she returned her attention to finishing dinner. * * *With dinner cooked, Lime removed the ward and asked for help in getting everything to the dinning room...which had already been set for three."Woah, thank you for the help in here," Lime said, highly impressed. Both White and Chesire smiled at this yet White seemed to be smiling more so than Chesire about this. Once all the food was on the table, a quick prayer of thanks was said and dinner was had by all...well, all who wanted what they consereded to be edible. Inbetween bites; laughter rang in the room as conversation was passed around the table, stories were told (some more gruesome than others) and White freely poured wine and milk into his guests' glasses. At one point, White secretly slipped a small white pill into Chesire's glass as he refilled it with freash milk during Lime's story of a cursed gem known as the Hope Diamond."So, this diamond is haunted or something?" White asked as Chesire seemingly took a sip of the milk. "Yes. The dimaond once belong to a royal woman. It was given to her as a gift by her father but her cousin desired the gem so much that he tried to steal it from her one night. When he tried to do so, she caught him in the act and gave chase. Once outside the castle, there was a strugle and she fell over the side of the castle wall still holding onto the chain of the necklace the diamond was attached to. The cousin ran off with the diamon and got a jewelry to fix it up to look different. Even so, the spirit of the woman haunts the crystal and seeks vengence against those who seek the diamond with greed in their eyes," Lime said in a grim voice. The moment she finished her tale, Chesire yawned and Lime checked the nearest clock for the time."Oh god, it's late," she gasped and White looked at the same clock."Yes, it is. Why don't you two stay here for the night and continue on your way in the morning?" White asked."You sure?" Lime asked as Chesire looked at him suspiciously."Yes, I insist. The woods are here aren't very safe at night unless you have a reliable shelter like this. If you wish, you can go on upstairs and grab something for the night from the room on the left. Next to it is the washroom," White said."Thank you. Let me tend to all this and I'll..." Lime started."No, let me. I am the host after all," White said and Chesire raised a eyebrow at this."You sure?" Lime asked."Yes, I'm sure," White said, With one last thank you and a "I'll see you when I'm clean" Lime got up from the table and made her way to the stairs as both guys watched her leave."She's beautiful," White said, almost breathlessly."I guess so," Chesire said, tearing his eyes away from the steps and returning his attention to the drugged milk as he appeared to take another sip."Tell me, who's this Mary Ann you thought her to be?" Chesire asked and White snapped his head to look at Chesire with this wide eye look."Don't you know? Mary Ann is my maid. If it weren't for her, this house wouldn't be so clockwork..." White started and it appeared as if Chesire was begining to nod off.* * *Upstairs, Lime had found the spare room White had spoke of. She opened the door, flipped a switch and a faint electric light reveled what appeared to be the room of a woman. Lime raised an row row at this as she made her way across the room to the standing closet made of what appeared to be polished cherry. She opened the door and was surprised to see that it was full of black outfits. Lime pulled out one and gasped to find that it was a skimpy maid's outfit. Lime searched through the closet and found them all to be black maid's dresses."Forger this. I'd rather waltz around naked rather than wear those scumy maid outfits," Lime said; partally under her breath, partally to herself. Lime turned to the dresser to find most of the drawers filled with either bed sheets or white aprons. It wasn't untill she reached the trunk at the foot of the bed when she was finally able to find a glass green sun dress with a lacy white apron sewn to it. With a heavy sigh, Lime accepted this to be the only thing to wear and left for the bathroom.Lime flipped on the light for the bathroom and found it to be kind small and blandly decorated. It was 13 ft long, 10 ft wide and 8 ft tall. The floor was titled with 1in by 1in white glossy tiles. The three bathroom esentials (the bath, the sink and the tub) all looked to be Victorian. The sink to the near left with a mirrored medicine cabinet, on the other end of the room was the toilet with a window just three feet above it and the tub to the right, across from the sink. The tub was a but curious though. It seemed as if one side had been fen aen a bit so as the tub stood length ways against the wall. On top of it, the tub with the lion paw legs also had what looked to be brass robs attached to it, from which hung a frosty looking shower curtain. From the floors to the middle of the walls were wood toned paneling and the rest of the wall to the ceiling was coated in a pale blue wall paper with thin white stripes and some sort of leaves. There was only three bath mats on the floor and they were by the three Victorian bathroom escentials. Varying in sixe depending on where they were, the mats were snow white and made of a fluffy looking yarn like material. After taking in the sight of the bathroom, Lime checked around for towels, soap and shampoo before she undressed and got into the tub. Once the curtain was pulled back, Lime turned on the water and once it was the right tempeture she switch the waterw tow to the shower head. Lime stood under the water and let out a deep exhale as the warmth ran down her body as she faced the shower head. She lifted her hands to rub the water into her scalp a bit before she slowly turned to her left, reaching blindly for the shampoo bottle as the water dripped over her eyes. Just as her fingers found the bottle, Lime was surprised when she heard the shower curtain get rapidly opened. Lime's eyes flew open and she was about to look behind herself when she was forced and pinned against the wall by a large furry body."You've been a bad girl Mary Ann," said a familar voice in Lime's left ear."White?" Lime gasped as she felt the warm breath against her ear, followed by a light snicker."Even so, you deserve a nice reward for making such a good diner tonight," White said."Rewa..AHHHH!" Lime started to say but was cut off by her own scream of pain as his stiff erection invaded her asshole. Lime closed her eyes and took in deep breaths in some small way to releave the pain that seared in her but as White hammered his way in and out of her unprepared hole. With each thrust into her, Lime let out a new shreik of pain as her tears rolled down with the water of the shower.Just as quickly as it began, it stopped. Lime slid down her knees as she let out a ragged breath of releif and looked to see White and Chesire fighting in the bathroom. Lime could only kneel in the tub and watch as the two fought their way out of the bathroom and into the hallway. Lime watched the doorway as began to regain her nerve a bit. She listened as crashing noises came in from the hallway...and all of a sudden the noises stopped."Chesire?" Lime asked tentativlly as she carefully stepped out of the tub and wrapped her body in a white towle. She was no more than a foot away from the door when Chesire dashed around the corner and nearly collided into Lime."Get out, now!" Chesire shouted as he shoved Lime away from the doorway. Lime held onto the towel with one hand and grabbed her new dress before Chesire gathered her up in his arms and lept out the window. Lime held her breath and closed her eyes as they broke through the window. The moment they were outside, Lime opened her eyes and watched as they fell away from the house...and then shortly followed by an explosion. Lime gasped in surprise at this as they continued to fall and the moment that Chesire was on the ground, he bolted away from the burning White Rabbit's house and all the while, all Lime could do was watch the house burn. The only thing that brought her out of the shock was the fact that it began to rain the moment they got over the hill, both leading away from the house and back on the path to the Queen of Spades.Next) In the Monster's Lair
