Don't beshamed." Jarlaxle started out loud as he leaned against the wall. Closest to the changing rooms. " I look rediculous in this dress." Nari called from the changing room. After another moment she sighed." Fine! But don't you dare laugh." She took in a deep breath and walked out. Jarlaxle stared at her in disbelief as she wondered from the changing rooms. The dark purple gown which hugged tightly to her body, that she picked out left Jarlaxle speechless. Breathless. Her long Strawberry blonde hair, partly pulled back, the rest hung gently at her shoulders. " Well?" Nari asked with an unsure expression on her face. " You look stun...."He trailed off as Jarlaxle noticed that the man at the counter and others staring. He cleared his throat," ..at least it covers the gigantic mole on your tit!" He said outloud. Nari glared at him. He quickly winked at her and watched amused as she turned. To change back into her original clothing. " That was rather rude of you!" Nari snapped as she held Jarlaxle's arm as they left the shop. Jarlaxle tried not to laigh as he carried her new gown. " Well you have to admit it was funny. I had to at least try to act like a husband." He defended himself. Nari stopped and faced him." Not all husbands are cruel to their wives in public like that. I pity any woman who becomes your wife!" She spat. Moments had passed without a single word between the two as they continued their walk around the market. Jarlaxle did feel somewhat guilty for saying that to her. Finally he decided to break the silence as his eye caught sight of a jewlery and make up stand. This stand also had slik shawls and shoes. Jarlaxle knew he should make it up to her for embarassing her the way he did." Nari." He started. She stopped as he had and looked at him.To tell him that she was responding." I think...that your new gown is incomplete." He started. " How?"Nari asked. " Well. It lacks accessories" " How do you know about women and accessories?" Nari asked with her hands on her hips. " Well in my many years. I find that I am one of the greatest drow to know women." He explained. There was somewhat shame in his tone. " You mean whores." Nari mused. " Hey, not all of them were prostitutes." He defended." At least no more then....half...three fourths....ish..." He trailed off and cleared his throat. Nari looked at him then smiled."Remind me to thank you." She said and walked with him over to the stand. Nari stared at all the fine jewlery before her. And all the silks. Perfume. But only one thing caught her eyes. It was a clippie. A rose. But rather then painted red. There were rubies as the petals. Nari smiled and looked at Jarlaxle. He looked back at her. He nodded slightly. And cursed himself for this. He had never spent so much on a woman. Well one that he was not sleeping with at least. But when he looked back at her face, in the back of his mind she was the most beautiful woman or Sea Elf he had ever seen. So he smiled lightly and bought it for her. " Now, am I to wear these for dinner?" Nari asked after Jarlaxle bought her the clippie. He glanced over to the valley near by. He bit his lower lip. He turned to her." Actaully I have something better in mind." He said with a smile. He waited for nearly fifteen minutes on the back of his horse in the green grassy valley. The sun had barely began to set. Jarlaxle removed his eyepatch and pocketed it in the little pouch around his waist. He sighed. Then he heard a twig break. He turned. Nari walked out from behind a tree. Dressed in her new gown and the clippie in her hair. She stood there looking at him for a moment. He stared right back. His lower jaw open slightly. His ruby eyes looked her slowly up and down." What?" Nari asked.Noticing his hesistating speak. " Oh...I..nothing....It suits you well." He said. And rode his horse slowly over to her. And offer his arm and hand to hoist her up. Nari accepted. She sat behind him with her arms around his waist. Her body pressed against his. " Where are we going?" Nari asked. " If I told it would be as....ro...." he paused and tried to rethink his words. Was he actaully going to say romanic?"..as much of a surprise." He finished. " Do you want me to close my eyes, Jarlaxle?" She asked. " If you wish to make it more exciting, then go ahead." He answered and gently tapped his ankles into his horse's side and it began to trot along a grassy path leading into the woods. After ten minutes. Jarlaxle pulled his horse to a stop. Dismounted and gently helped Nari( Whose eyes were still closed) off the saddle. He lead her through a path of green elm trees. Some trees he passed with her had fruit. " Alight. You can open your eyes if you like." He said. And Nari did. Her eyes went wide with wonder. Before her was a massive cherry blossum tree. Dark green grass around it. And the area. There was a pond near the tree. It's water was clear and sparkled. She turned around at the viney enterance to the place. Then quickly back at the sight before her. She had never seen anything more beautiful in her life. She looked at Jarlaxle. He smiled lightly at her.She abruptly threw her arms around him." Thank you for bringing me here." She whispered. Jarlaxle was speechless now. And only found that his arms wrapped around her waist and held her as tightly as she clung to him. Jarlaxle gingerly nuzzled his face against her ear and gently placed a kiss upon it and remained like that as he savored her sweey scent. He wanted to kiss her more then anything now. To remain this way for more then a mere moment as she gently pulled away. She looked at him and blushed," Sorry. I...." She cleared her throat and turned. Making her way towards the pond. Where she sat at the edge. Right under the cherry blossum canopy.Removing her shoes, she gently dipped her toes in it's soothing water. Jarlaxle walked over to join her. He glanced ahead of him at the setting sun and then over at the woman, whose beauty beyond matched the setting sun itself.
