Chapter Four

Embry stopped the car at the edge of the field. I could see the bon fire going high. The guys were around the fire with there girls. They all had grown up.
He looked over at me. He arched an eye brow.

“Let’s go” I said. “Changed my mind , don’t want to share you tonight” he said. “To bad , were going” I said. “Ok” he said. He kept an arm around my waist as we got close to the group.

“Oh look little Embry finally brought a girl , guess he aint gay after all” the smug one next to the fire said. I knew who it was Paul had always annoyed me , but we were still friends.

I walked over to Paul an punched him in the face. He had a utter look of shock on his face. He suddenly remembered who I was. Embry had a grin on his face.

“ SHIT , YOU IMPRINTED ON ELENA” He said rubbing his jaw. “Yeah , I was kind of the first one to imprint after Sam , I’ve know it was her all along” Embry said kissing my cheek. “Yeah , an I’m moving back hear” I said. “Crap” Paul said. His girlfriend was looking at him.

“Why are you scared of Embry girlfriend?” the girl asked. “She fights dirty” Paul said. “Want me to shave your head again?’ I asked. “Uh , no” he said.

I felt a pair of arms go around me. I was spun around to see another old friend.

“Seth , wow kid you grew up” I said. “Thanks” he said. “How have you been since your dad passed?” I asked. “Ok , was hard on mom for a while but then she got remarried to a great guy” he said. “Who?” I asked. “Chief Swan” he said. “Wow , Bella’s dad” I said. “Yeah” he said.

“ Hey stop hogging her” Embry said pulling me against him. “Not my fault she thinks , I’m cute” Seth said sticking his tongue out. “Yeah , like a puppy” Embry said playfully punching him in the arm.

“ Who’s cooking? I’m hungry” I said. “Emily Sam’s wife” Embry said. “Good” I said.
