She Loved them Both

Chapter 4: I felt the rush and the pulsating pumping
Bella’s pov
I was so close. But I couldn't let go. "Bella love, it’s ok just relax let it happen" Edward breathed in between my legs huskily. He repeated the words: "Let I happen. Let it happen." His tone was so velvety smooth that my heart began to flutter. It only took three more rough dives of his icy tongue into my warm wetness to set me off. I felt the rush and the pulsating pumping. I could no longer hold still as I bucked my hips up against Edwards jaw. I screamed his name over and over until it became a throaty murmur and then nothing, just my shallow breathing. Edward pulled himself out from between my legs looking like that was the last thing he wanted to do. I looked down at his face & gasped. There was my perfect Edward, his hair disheveled, my blood all over his chin, soft white cream glimmering on his lips. This wasn't what startled me. It was his eyes. The warm butterscotch tint was gone. Edward's eyes were blood red. He saw my face and instantly hung his head in shame. "I know, I'm a monster", he breathed. He looked like he might say more but before he could I grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and he allowed me to pull him up towards my face. "No you're not. You stopped. I'm still bleeding, but you stopped." He looked like a little boy who got caught with his finger in the sugar bowl expecting a lashing. Knowing Edward he probably wanted me to yell at him, hit him, or punish him somehow. "You didn't do anything wrong. I loved it. It was amazing! You're--" For a brief moment I thought I saw a sense of pride flicker in his crimson eyes. He quickly averted gaze and pinched the bridge of his nose furiously. "This will never happen again Bella. Do you understand me?" what a buzz kill. I nodded weakly but I didn't agree at all. I defiantly wanted to do this again. Then an ugly thought entered my mind--what if we did this too much & then Edward missed the taste of my blood once I was changed?
I pushed the thought from my mind & began to gently wipe away the blood from his face with my shirt. He pulled away from me roughly and cleaned himself quietly in the driver’s seat. "Please don't be mad at me Edward. I'm sorry I don't know what came over me." I muttered as I climbed into the front seat. There was blood everywhere. It was in my hair, on my clothes and all over the car. The whole scene was reminiscent of an episode of Dexter. Edward just shook his head slightly and let his top lip curl. His nostrils flared as he spoke.” You really are absurd Bella. You're sorry? You're sorry I could have--" I interjected "Killed me! I know! You said the same thing our whole honeymoon. But guess what Edward I'm still alive!" I half-screamed the last sentence. We sat there for awhile, me seething in anger & Edward wallowing in his self-hatred.
"Bella love I don't want to fight." he placed a cool hand tenderly against my cheeck. He kissed me softly on the lips and then started the car.
