Zoey sat down in the chair, detective marx sat in the chair across the table. The library was completely deserted save for them. “now, lets get started.” “where where you Wednesday in the early morning hours?” “i was sleeping, with my boy friend.” the detective started writing down the information “and this boy's name?” “James Stark,” she said, she knew it was all a lie. “why are you asking me?” “you're step father, John Heffer has disappeared.” Zoey said nothing, in fact her face was cold. There where only three people on this planet who knew where John was and one of them was dead.“and?” she asked “do you not care? He was your fami-” “no! He was my moms husband and my nightmare.” Zoey said, she shifted in her chair, “i see, so I can take that as you saying you have no contact with him?” “no, in fact he wouldn't even let me or my grandma in at my mom's funeral.”he continued writing notes down “I see, well do you have any idea where he might have gone if he left on his own?” “no, I don’t” Zoey did her best to keep calm “and anyone who would want to bring harm?” “try any vampires he managed to piss off.” Zoey said “vampires?” “yes, he's the leader of a church that hates vampires. Wouldn't surprise me to find out the feeling is mutual.” she said “i see, any names you might be able to give me.” Zoey shook her head “no, I’m sorry” she said, “alright then, I think that is all for now. Have a nice evening miss redbird.” “you too detective.”
