Twin Squires

Scarlet laughed then. “I want you to know we are staying. At least a little longer.” She said this as she sat down at the island bar that was in the kitchen.

Raven put sandwiches in front of everyone along with drinks. “ What changed you mind?”

“I think we need to get some things straight and storm offer to let us stay here.” Scarlet said as she ate her food and drink from the cup in front of her.

“So storm why do you want us to stay?”

“Because you need a place to stay and get things off your chests so to speak.” Storm said finishing off his drink and food.

“Ok fine but I think we need sleep before we start to straighten any thing out.” Scarlet said as she got up and put her plate and cup in the sink. “I am going up. Sis you coming?”

“No not yet I will clear up first. And me and fury are going to play some cards to help me relax again.”

“Ok see you in the morning.” Scarlet left the kitchen and once in the hall she flashed her self to her room. She crawled into bed. She lay there and began to cry.

Back in the kitchen

“You know storm you may want to head that way too. You will have a long night tomorrow if you want to hear us.” raven said as she ands fury headed to the library with a deck of cards and some poker chips “hope you are ready to lose your shirt”

“You bet fury said following her out the door.

Storm listens to be sure they had move away and then flash to outside Scarlet’s room. What he heard inside hurt him more for her then before.

“How in the name of the goddess am I going to even fell whole again? These scars…I hate them.” Scarlet was sobbing in the room about what had happen to her. He knock but she did not answer. Her sobs still went on. ‘I am going in there.’ Storm opens the door and saw her curled up on the bed. Crying into the pillow.

“Scarlet can I help? If I can let me.” He did not move form the door.

“Can you hold me? I mean I know you are not to touch us but I need something to hold me here and since raven is with fury can you please fill in for her.” Storm closed the door and curled up in to the bed next to her to hold her. He removed his jacket and shoes before he did this. She let him pull her close. He caught a glimes of what looked to him a raw open wound on her upper right shoulder. But then she pulled the blanket up and him in closer. “ If you don’t mind I will more then likely fell asleep here. Unless you wish me to go.”

“No if you want to stay then stay. But for now just hold me and shut up.” Scarlet said as her sobs began again. He pulled her in tighter and waited until this round ended. Soon they both where asleep.

Back in the library

“Ha that would be your shirt.” Raven said as she won this hand of black jack.

“You know that I should learn not to trust a woman I do not know.” Fury said as he removed his shirt. He was down to just his pants and since he did not wean underwear this meant this was his last hand unless she lost. Which for him was not likely since she had not lost yet.

“Lets see this is our last hand. Or you could give up. Either way I will win.” Raven said as she laughs at fury. This man was just to smart to give up. Oh well guess we will see the package. Raven dealt out the first two cards and waited for fury to said wheatear he was staying or not. Fury taped the top. He had one face card up. Well may be he will not bust.

Raven turned over another face card and fury turned blood red. Ok guess he busted.

“Ok this is bullshit. Now you win and with what” he turned over raven’s cards. “A got damn seven.” Fury growled as he got up to remove his pants. Honor was honor.

“Fury stop. If I want to see all of you I would much rather be in a room and after being wined and dined out first. How about we call it a night.” Raven got up and went to put the cards up. As she walked d past fury he pulled her into his lap.

“And what if I want you to see me like this. Right here and now. What if I asked you to sleep with me.”? Fury said with his face turned into her hairline.

Raven shivered. Got that feels good. But this cant happen no way. “Fury don’t get me wrong but….” Her voice was stopped by fury’s kiss. One in which he deeper when she wrapped her arms around him. He pulled her even closer and with out meaning to flash them to the room he used when here. Only now that room was where scarlet and storm were sleeping.

“Fury…stop.. This is not my room.” Raven got out before fury stopped in his tracks. He look to the bed and they’re laid the dark hunter above the covers and scarlet below.” my room is through that door. Come with me fury.

They slowly left to room thought the doors that lead to Ravens room. “Damn that I would have believed. No one has touched her since…for a long time.” Raven said as she sat down on the bed. Fury was on his knees in front of her to look into her face as they spoke.

“So there is more to your story. I though so. Guess our night is over. And I need to find a room.” Fury went to get up when raven pulled him back down to her.

“Wait stay with me. No funny stuff just lay with me.” When finished fury looked back at her face tears where now falling. “Ok let’s go to bed.” The two curled under the sheets and fell into an easy embrace that raven could cry on his shoulder with and he could see all of her. Fury just headed her as she cried her self to sleep.
