The Cullens Have Problems
Alec sighed again.
“Would you stop sighing?! You’re pissing me off!” hissed a frustrated Jane. Alec glared at her.
“I’m fucking bored!” screamed the usually composed Alec. Jane stopped her running and stared at her older brother.
“Did you, just yell, at me?” Jane spoke very slowly.
“Why yes, yes I did” Alec smirked and crossed his arms across his chest.
“You wanna go?” Jane got so close to him that their noses were almost touching, though since she was shorter she had to stand on the tips of her toes to accomplish this.
“Sure, where?” Alec said, his face composed. Jane covered her mouth with her hand, but giggles escaped her. Alec smirked again.
“You are so, not as evil as people think you are” Alec bent down to her level as he said this in a sing-song tone.
“Shut up, you retard. I am evil, I am the queen of evil!” Jane was very serious as she said this, her anger rising as she jabbed her fingers in his chest. Alec just rolled his red eyes and started walking away. Jane growled dangerously, but followed him.
‘The queen of evil, who giggles and favorite colour is violet and dark pink. Yes, Oh so evil.’ Alec smiled the smallest smile as this thought drifted through his head. Maybe his angel was still there after all.
The scene around them was beautiful, they walked through a forest. A nice change from the ocean they had swam across…or was it two oceans? Suddenly Alec realized something.
“Where the fucks are we? And where the fucks are we going?” Alec turned around and looked towards his sister, who was looking around for something familiar.
“Oh shit!” Jane cried “Where in Forks!!” ‘Meanwhile in a town called spoons…’ Both Jane and Alec shook their head at their identical thought.
“Well, fuck me! They’re coming now!” Alec hissed and then raced in the direction of the clearing to meet the Cullen’s half way. They weren’t surprised to see their defensive positions, what they were surprised about were the other vampires surrounding them. Other covens, and in a newly transformed Bella’s arms, a child.
Alec and Jane shared a glance, the same thought echoing through their heads. ‘Immortal Child’
“You’re wrong, she is not an immortal child.” Edward spoke up, from the other side of the clearing.
‘Damn he’s more annoying then Aro’ Alec frowned at this thought, though Edward said nothing to it.
“She has a heartbeat” Carlisle spoke this time.
“Why are they explaining this to us? Don’t they have a fortune teller?” Jane’s voice was quiet even to a vampire. Alec realized that there fortune teller had not seen them leave The Guard.
“You’re not part of The Guard anymore?” Edward was astonished.
“Damn, you’re annoying” Jane spoke Alec’s thought.
“Yes, we have left The Guard.” Alec called to them across the clearing. Whispers broke out from the other vampires.
“The Volturi just labeled you immortal children” The fortune teller’s bell like voice spoke. Alec and Jane were not surprised with this new information.
“The rest of The Guard is planning on leaving as well!” The fort teller sounded surprised, though no more than Jane and Alec were.
“Well, since you are no longer with the Volturi, would you consider joining us?” Carlisle’s voice was friendly and he had a kind smile on his face. Jane and Alec shared a glance before turning to the small child in Bella’s arms.
“She is not an immortal child, she is my biological child.” Edwards voice was but with a pleading edge to it.
‘Prove it’ Jane and Alec spoke in unison.
“Let her explain for herself” Edward spoke, gesturing toward the child. Bella growled at this and eyed Jane and Alec wearily.
“They won’t hurt her” Edward said soothingly, gesturing for Bella to give him the child, she did so. Edward walked forward and Alec immediately jumped in front of Jane, defensively snarling and hissing. Jane did the same from behind him. Edward stopped showing his free hand in a sign of peace, the twins stopped hissing but stayed defensive. Edward stepped closer.
“One more step, and you’ll know the true meaning of pain.” Jane hissed from behind her brother. The child race off Edwards back, which alarmed her ‘father’ greatly, to which his gaze flickered between his so called child and the witch twins. The child stood in front of them and smiled at their suspicious expressions.
“Hi! I’m Renesme. I want to show you something, it won’t hurt, I promise!” Her high pitched voice spoke. Alec shook his head, checking to see if his hearing had been damaged from the pitch. Alec let down to her level, Jane followed his movements to his side. Renesme brought her hands up and touched their faces and immediately the twins leapt back in surprise, hissing.
“Please?” Renesme reached up again as Jane and Alec went back to their previous positions. Renesme’s memories flashed through their heads.
“Impossible” they spoke in unison, looking up at Edward.
“Yeah, I thought the same thing” Edward said with a sigh.
“Will you join our witness?” Carlisle’s friendly voice filled the air with a kind smile on his face. Alec and Jane shared yet another glance before turning back to Carlie and said once again in Unison
“Nothing else to do, so where do we sign up?”
