Family Bonding

Damian sighed and ran a hand through his blood red hair.

“Christopher you can’t leave the hospital just yet.” Damian said softly. “You’ll do more damage to yourself.”

“Father I can’t stay here. Koichi will try to have me killed. I need to get out of here.”

Keri looked at her friend and crossed her arms over her chest.

“If that bitch tries anything Chris, she’ll be dead before she hits the ground.” Keri said as her dark eyes narrowed. Chris chuckled lightly.

“You don’t get it do you Keri. Koichi will have me killed here. I need a safe place. Also I need a safe place for Sammy.”

“That’s easy. Sammy can stay with me at my parents house.”

Inca trilled and nodded his head.

“I don’t want to impose on you Keri. Sammy can be a handful and so can Wulf.”

“I think I can take care of her. And as to you, if you really think that you need out of here I’m sure we can arrange for you to stay in the guest room as well.”

Inca trilled and shook his head.

“I agree with Inca you need to stay here.” Damian said.

“Ok I’ll stay, but just get Sammy safe.” Chris said. His silver eyes began to close and he fell into a restless sleep. Keri sighed, and looked at Inca and Damian, and then down at Chris.

“They really have him doped up.” She muttered. “I’ll go get Sammy and Wulf. They’ll be fine at my parents place.”

Damian met Keri’s eyes, and nodded his head.

“I want my grand-daughter safe Keri.” Damian said softly.

“She will be I promise.”

Keri quickly left the room and went to go get Samantha and the white wolf. Chris moaned and muttered lightly in his sleep. Inca gently stroked Chris’s hair offering what comfort he could.

Sammy looked at the man who had grabbed her after flinging Wulf half way across the room, and then took her from her friend’s apartment.

“What do you want?” Sam asked. “Let me go!”

“Feisty bitch.” The kitsune said as he dumped the girl in front of an older woman.

“A pretty young girl. I’m amazed Christopher could sire a child.” Koichi said as she walked up to the girl. “What is your name child?”

Sam looked at Koichi and backed away. “Answer me.”

“Her name is Samantha mistress. I heard Miroku’s sister leave a message on the answering machine as I dragged her from the apartment.” The hired thug said.

“Samantha a nice name for you child. Put her in the guest room. I will call her father and let him know where she is at.”

“You leave my daddy alone you witch!” Sam hissed. Koichi arched an eyebrow and smiled.

“I am not a witch child, but I will make you wish I was one.”
