Chapt. 7

Chris walked back to his room, and Inca trilled at him. Chris looked at him.
“No I’m not all right Inca.” Chris said. “The Council members want to call my so called father.”
The red haired man sat down on the bed. “After what they told me I don’t want to see him at all.”
Inca trilled sadly at Chris. Chris looked deep into the white eyes, and shook his head. He then looked at what the council wanted him to wear. He arched an eyebrow. “You’ve got to be kidding. They want me to wear this.”
Solla went to a phone and dialed the number for Guilty Pleasures and waited for Damian to come on the line.
“Hello Damian it’s been a long time.” Solla said.
“Solla. What do you want?” Damian all but hissed.
“I just want to tell you that I’m in town, and if you tell Jean-Claude I will have to punish you.”
Damian laughed lightly, and Miroku looked at him. “You see I have your son.”
“You have Christopher? Where?”
Miroku placed a hand on Damian’s arm to steady the vampire. “Tell me where he is you bitch.”
“Temper temper Damian. I don’t want to have to hurt such a handsome boy.”
“I know what you like to do to people Solla. Where is my son?”
”Meet me at the Chase Park Plaza in about two hours. I will then take you to a house that I’m renting to see your son. And do not tell Jean-Claude I am here, or you be sent a body part of your son.”
Solla hung up the phone and smirked.
Damian slowly hung up the phone. He looked at Miroku.
“I’m going with you.” Miroku said. Damian shook his head. “Damian you’ll need help. Chris is my best friend let me help.”
“I don’t want you hurt Miroku.”
“My dad is a six tail, my mother is a four, I’m getting my third in a year, I can help.”
“Miroku I said no.”
“You need a driver.”
Damian looked at the young Kitsune. “I’ll get the keys to Jason’s car, and take you where ever.”
“No need I can fly there in less than ten minutes.”
Damian was out the door before Miroku could say anything more. The young kitsune shook his head, went outside and followed the vampire.
Damian waited outside of the hotel pacing. Solla walked up to him. Her brown eyes gazed over the tall Nordic vampire.
“Damian it’s nice to see you once again.” Solla said. Damian glared at the female vampire with distain.
“Where is my son?” Damian demanded.
“Oh he’s safe. My driver is pulling the car around now. I will take you to that handsome boy of yours.”
Damian growled at the woman, and she laughed lightly. “Ah here’s Jacob now.”
The two got into the car, and the driver sped off. Miroku flew easily behind them in the form of a crow.
Jacob stopped the car outside of a large house in Town & Country. He opened the door for Solla as Damian got out of the car on the other side.
“This way Damian.” Solla said as Jacob opened the front door. Damian followed Solla to a large room.
Chris was sitting on a pile of pillows leaning against a taller vampire who was rubbing his shoulders. Another vampire was just gently running her hand over Chris’s chest muscles. The leather vest he was wearing hung open. He turned his head and looked at his father with silver eyes.
“Chris?” Damian asked. Chris glared at his father, and stood up from the two vampires. The two bowed to Solla and left the room. “Chris what is the meaning of this?”
“What is the meaning of what Damian?” Chris asked back. Damian blinked his green eyes. His son never called him by name.
“Why are you here?”
Chris laughed softly. “You vowed never to bow before the council.”
“That was before I learned a few things you son of a bitch!”
Damian looked at Solla.
“What did you do to my son?” he demanded. Solla looked at Damian and smiled sweetly.
“I just told him the truth about his mother’s death, and how you were cause of it.”
Damian went to strike Solla, when Chris stepped in the way to block the move.
“I think not.” Chris said.
“Chris I wasn’t responsible for your mother’s death. It was the council.”
“Yeah right.”
Miroku snuck into the room and watched. He saw the distant look in Chris’s eyes.
“Chris what did they do to you?” Miroku thought.
Chris glared at his father, and raised a sword.
“I am unarmed Chris.” Damian said. Solla laughed and touched Chris’s arm.
“The council is willing to let your son go, but the price is high.” Solla said.
“What is the price?”
“You go back to your former master for the rest of time.”
Damian closed his eyes.
“As long as you free my son from what ever spell you have on him.”
Chris blinked his silver eyes and shook his head.
“Father?” He asked.
