Authoress note: I made up the reason why he wore the eyepatch. Again sorry back then I did not know much about Jar as I do now. And I have no intention on changing anything. Because it would ruin the entire thing in which I wrote in the notebook. Also there is mild adult content. Just a tad.

Chapter Eight: Reunited

" You have no idea how deadly the Chimera is! An army could not even hurt it!"Exclaimed Legolas. As he p;ounded his fist upon the map in his tent.Which rested on a table.

" I defeated the largest Gargolyal of the Spider Queen. If I could do that, then I could at least one of the Chimera's heads." Kit said firmly." let me go and help the humans." She requested.

"Sir." An elf warrior wented into the tent. His face and body soaked from the pouring rain." The Lich has just over throne Adia. The Sorceress. She asks for our assistance."

Kit spoke up," Legolas, I have the Book of Protection. I can give it to you. Your men and you go to the Forsaken Province and kill the Lich. While I go and defeat the Chimera. " She continued as the uproar within the tent suddenly became silent.

Legolas thought for a moment, then came to a decision," Take at least one more elf to join you." He requested.

Kit nodded and fled the tent. Coming back moments later,soaked with a freed Jarlaxle. Who wore his hat still. ( Of course Jar is nothing without his hat.)" I choose Jarlaxle Baerne." She said, Still all remained silent.

Legolas knew there was no point to try and argue," The ancent tree is three miles from here. Below it, the Scimitar of Decapitation is burried near the surface. An erect stick marks it's position. Kit smiled at Jarlaxle he smiled lightly back at her as they ran back outside the tent and mounted their horses.

At the anceint tree, the rain poured hard upon the two. As they rode slowly around the base of the tree.Their eyes thoroughly searching the area.Abruptly Jarlaxle's horse's hoof snapped on something. Jarlaxled pulled his steed to a halt and dismounted.He knelt sown and pushed his horse back abit and eyed the stick erected out of the ground.

" Kit!" He called." I think I found it." He shouted.

Kit turned her horse and trotted over to him and leapt off to help him dig for the weapon they searched for. Once a blade sparkled from the dirt. They knew they had found it.

" Tomorrow at noon. We leave for the Forsaken Province." Legolas began. Kit only nodded. And left him alone in his tent. Outside the rain had stopped. And the sun had begun to set for the day. Beautifully by the creek. And Kit saw Jarlaxle. Standing there,without his hat.

" When was the last time you just stood and stared at the setting sun?" Jarlaxle asked without even looking at Kit.

Kit smiled and slipped under his arms,where he fimrly locked them around her and rocked her to and fro slowly. Kit leaned her body against his." Ages. Once upon a time it seems." She whispered " I am honored to have you as my companion." She said softly.

" Believe me when I say. That I would follow you to the ends of the realms." He muttered. Nuzzling his cheek against her neck.

" So glad to be with you again." She whispered.

Smiling lightly, Jarlaxle's lips touched touched Kit's ear. He unsild his arms from around her and un latched a necklace of a small black widow from around his neck," This is a pendant of the Spider Queen Lloth. Wear it as a symbol of my love for you. " He muttered, firmly he kissed her neck.

Kit touched the necklace then turned to face Jarlaxle. She stred up at his one visible eye. She gently touched his eyepatch. Jarlaxle only closed his visible eye and let Kit do as she pleased. Even slowly remove his eyepatch from his head. He blinked once. He had two beautiful blood red eyes. But the one he had kept covered was the one which had a scar across it.

Jarlaxle sucked his cheek in his teeth slightly and would have turned away in shame. But Kit had held his face in her hands. She leaned up and kissed his scar gingerly. Jarlaxle sighed and closed his eyes. He could feel the rapid pounding in his chest. And held her tightly.

They stared at eacother. Kit smiled, taking his hands in her. She kissed his thin lips. The kiss was slow and deep. Tender and warm. Jarlaxle's hand gently caressed Kit's back and shoulder. Slowly slidding her straps down her arms. Exposing her small breats.

Kit assisted him and gently placed his hands upon her breasts." I'm not pushing you too fast, am I?" Jatlaxle asked softly into her ear.

Kit looked at him and shook her head," Why would you be? We've wasted a near century appart. I want this." She muttered. Jarlaxle smiled lightly and cupped her face in his hands and kissed her lips lightly and rested his forehead against hers." I love you, Kit." He uttered, almost soundlessly. That Kit had not heard it.

Kit moved his hands back down to ther chest. Her breasts were heaving. Closed her eyes and let Jarlaxle kneel down, let him slide her sleeves down furthur.Exposing all of her breasts.He gazed at her erect nipples. Knowing fully that he had excited her. Something he was good at with women.

It was several moments before Jarlaxle touched them. When he did, his thumbs caressed and taunted the erect buds.Kit shuddered and moaned slightly. Jarlaxle, provoked further, he slowly took one into his mouth.At the same time his free hand kneaded her other breast. Aburptly she yanked back a bit," Wait.Not that far yet." She whispered. Jarlaxle arose to his feet. And nodded in understanding. Only placing a light kiss upon her sweet lips. Not the least bit disappointed either. Nomally. He would have said I'll be seeing you then. Or turned and left. But this was Kit, who he was with. His childhood best friend. Who he'd spent a century trying to find. Knowing that he was with ehr now was enough to make even the nymphomanic, Jarlaxle himself happy.

He merely stared down into her beautiful orbs and gingerly stroked her face.

Sometime the following morning. ( This was something that I could not pass up as well. Because when I did this scene, I was watching Armaggedon. Please be nice) Legolas found a piece of paper upon his table. He read over it and fled his tent. And he found Kit sitting alone at the creek's bank." Kit." Legolas began. Getting her attention." I got your note. What are doing down here?" He asked sitting down beside her.

Kit only rubbed the back of her neck gently." I was just thinking about my father leaving." She said.

" I know. I would not have introduced you to the boy drow, had I known that he would leave.It was my fault." Legolas shook his head." The you ran away...."

Kit shook her head and cut him short,"No, I love my life. I love everything about my life. And I don't blame you for father leaving us. He left us both." She stared at her brother's eyes," And you're going to come home alive,alright."

Legolas nodded,"Alright." He said softly.

" Promise." Kit requested.

" I promsie, Kit."Legolas said with a nod. As Kit embraced her brother.

" If it's not too much trouble, please nagotiote with the drow. When you return." Kit requested. Upon hearing this slowly closed his eyes. For it was the drow, who all accused of Fletic's death. Legolas therefor hated the dark elves." They are my family, Legolas." Kit added softy.

Legolas nodded slightly and slid from the embrace, he stared into his baby siste's eys, then saw the spider pendant around her neck." I promise Kit. I'll try to make peace with the drow.But now for me, you must do a favor. Don't try to be heroic. If things should grow deathly, get out."He begged. Kit smiled and nodded.

As the elves departed. Lloth stared into her pool and smiled with satisfaction. Soon her wishes shall be granted, She waved her hand and stared at the angry image of the Shadow Wraith." You are growing weak Lloth!" It hissed.

" Silence, Shadow!" Lloth snapped.

" you'll let a chit of an elf woman, destroy your creatures?"It asked angerly.

" They must die. I need redemption for my soul." She explained.Lowly the shadow growled. Lloth continued."And if I wish it, she'll destroy you.All she need do is obtain the potion she needs from the Gentalmen. And they will lead her to you. Oh, yes you are a thorn in thier side as well."

" The Gentlemen submit to the to drow and drow alone."The Wraith smirked.

" A drow travels with her, oh great shadow. The father of the child's soul you intend on taking."

The shadow nodded," Then the time is near, Lloth. Darkness will rule all. Every creature will soon bow to me. Once I take the soul of your precious Green Dragon." It explained.

" So you know. Kit is more, she holds the spirit of the Green Dragon of Protection. She bares the branding of the dragon mother on her lower back. " Lloth paused and remembered when she came to the Matron Malice Do' Urden when Kit first came and reveiled to her Kit's powers. And told her to mark her with the branding of a curled up dragon, with it's tail wrapped around it's egg. The Protector Mother Dragon.

Just as Lara is the Blue Dragon within. The Dragon of Strength. She bares a brand as well. The two Dragons of Victory. Lloth smiled and swept her hand over the pool and there was nothing but her reflection staring back at her.
