Angela Angel is a character that I've borrowed from AJ Angelique from her Thundercats fanfics.

The creature is of my own creation so don't come to me talking about lawsuits unless you want to thrwn into a pool full of mud because all your getting from me is raspberries :*

9) Showdown

The sound of running footsteps could distinctivlly be heard through the woods as two people ran through the brush and vegitation, occasionally stumblinery ery now and then, The older of the two kept a firm grip on the younger one's grip as they were chased through the forest by may other people. In a heart beat, the two who who were being persued bursted out of the forest and dashed out onto the beach as the elder of the two cursed under her breath.

Angela tripped and fell as Ralph stumbled over her and fell face down into the beach sand. The two moved to get up but only got up as as tas their knees before Jack's tribe bursted out of the forest and ran towards the two. Angela cursed under her breath as she tried to sheild Ralph as best as she could as she began to flash back to the events that lead up to this...

"Do you think this will work?" Ralph asked as he followed Angela back through the woods.
"Yes. We'll go in, grab them and get out," Angela said as cheerfully as she could. Yet when they got to castle rock, it was found that Samnerad bad been inducted into Jack's tribe and Angela cursed under her breath at this discovery.

"Angela, let me go talk to them," Ralph said and with a heavy sigh, he allowed him to leave. As soon as Ralph was gone from her sight, she was approached by four boys with blood stained wood spears. Angela looked on at this with a raised eyebrow as Roger approached her.

"You're to come with us," he said. She simply nodded and allowed the four to lead her to Jack who was waiting for her in one of the many caves of castle rock, where he sat on a throne like collection fo rocks cushioned simply by a collection of leaves. He would have been an impressive looking firgure sitting there naked to his waist and his face painted if it hadn't been for the fact that he was still just a kid and his eyes spoke of savagness...and being controlled by something else.

"Hello Jack," Angela said as she bowed her head slightly. Jack grinned at this and gave the signal for the four boys to leave. The three younger ones did as they were instructed and left, but Roger stood there for a moment with this glare on his face. Jack glared back and Roger finally left as Angela noted this and the tension that has formed in that moment. She knew that if and when Jack's tribe took full control, Roger wouldn't waste any time in jumping in and taking control. But now here she was alone with the current cheif...but why?

Jack then stood up and slowly walked around her, as if eyeing her over. Angela wasn't sure what to make of this, but her tattered shorts and shirt weren't making the situation any better.
"You know, now that I truely see you. I know why he wants you back," Jack said.
"He's spoken to you?" Angela asked, surprised. Jack nodded, "In a way."
"I see, so now what?"
'He wants you back...unharmed preferably."
"He can't have me, I don't belong to him or anyone else on this planet."
"That's not what he thinks."
"Then he neto cto change his way of thinking," Angela said and turned on heel to turn away from Jack.

"Where are you going?" Jack asked.
"Away," Angela simply said.
"I'm afraid you can't go. You're to stay here while I keep a meeting of my own," Jack said and Angela narrowed her eyes at him.

"Rain check," Angela simply said and claped her hands as if clapping off dirt or dust. This caused a great wind to rush into the cave and the air was chocked with dirt. Jack coughed on this a couple times as he blindly moved forward to grab Angela but it was too late, she was gone...

Angela was right back where she was before she was picked up by the four guards, except she hid herself in the trees this time as she waited for Ralph...and waited...and waited. It was late ibn the afternoon when he returned from a different direction. Angela noted that he was panting and had this flushed look on his face, so she figured that he had just gotten done from running away from someone...or something.

"Angela?" Ralph called out as quietly as he could.
"Up here," Angela called back and Ralph looked up just as she fell down as agile as a cat.
"Well?" she asked.
"We've got problems..." Ralph said and explained the hunt that had been commmanded on him. Angela cursed under her breath as she grabbed his wrist and ran. It was long after the two ran aswy from Castle Rock they were chased after Jack's tribe who called for Ralph's death and Angela's capture...

...So here she was, back on the beach and defending one of the last shreds of civilzation on the island. So when she saw Jack's tribe come out of the woods, she moved to sheild Ralph as best she could. She then sqeezed her eyes shut and prepared for the pain...that never came. Angela looked up confused and was surprised to find that the tribe had stopped five feet away from her and Ralph. The two then looked in the direction that Jack's tribe was staring to see a group of men.

Men! Oh what a glorious sight, they had been saved! With a sigh of releif, Angela got up and helped Ralph. Jack's tribe was sent to the nearby ship while men were sent to Castle Rock and into the forest to search for more boys while Angela went to the mountain to deal with one last peice of business...the creature.

Angela traveas fas fast as she could to the mountain as fat rain clouds filled the sky and it began to pour the moment she entered the mountain. She followed the caverns to the creature's lair in the heart of the mountain where it was pacing back and forth.

"You've failed. Men have come to the island of their own accord and the boys have been rescued. Now, it's time to end this chapter," Angela said as she pulled a Rapier out of thin air and stood ready to fight.

"Fine, let's end t" th" the creature growled and lunged forward to attack, wishing to disarm her and knock her out cold so as to take advantage of this heavy clkoud cover to wipe out the people on the island like he did the first night he arose after joining with the corpse of that dead boy. Yet Angela easily dodged this attack and struck back with her Rapier.

The creature growled in anger as the blade cut through his right arm and left a gaping hole yet there was no blood coming from his wounds, just cold musty air like that of a tomb that had just been opened after so many years of being locked up. He looked on at this in shock, confused as to why he was able to be hurt now but Angelina smirked as she knew that he was as weak as he was that first night, he hadn't fed in such a long time and it took its toll on him. Now, she could hear the souls of those he killed who were locked on the island calling for his death, she would grant their request an a heart be\n

"That was for the little boy," Angela said as she lunged forward and attacked the head this time, cutting the blade across his left cheek and up up towards his eye, leaving a jagged gash across his face.

"That was for Simon," Angela said and struck behind his left calf, rending that leg useless as the blade dug in deep to where there should have been bone.

"That was for Piggy," she said and sprinted forward, aiming the blade at his haert as she foucused her chi (spirit energy) into the attack. She drove the blade right through his heart and he let out a howl that echoed across the island."And"And that was everyone else!" Angela said as she glared at him, inches away from his face. He tried to reach out for her but was stopped when Angela pulled the sword up and thus sliced his heart and top section in half. The creature wailed as the blackness of its body disentegrated into dust and revealed the body of a teenage native boy who smiled at her in thank before he collasped on the ground dead and his body also turned to dust that was blown away by a mysterious wind.

"May you all now rest in peace," Angela said as she clapped her hands together and bowed before she turned on her heels and left the cave for the last time as she put her Rapier back in Hammer Space.
